    We get excited at rumors or guesses at when new promotional videos could come out and then wait anxiously if we get official news of a tease video that promotes a trailer to come at a a later date!! XD

    I've following Ali since she started the day 1 and she told her friend that the 100 days hashtag is just something people do for fun on instagram it not relate to Supergirl. Claire Holt is not even on The Originals right now somebody else played Rebekah. http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed/originals-boss-fallout-rebekah-twist-754765 in this article they stated that the insider told them that Claire is not expected to get the part. I predict the announcement would come this month or early Feb. and its going to be either Melissa Benoist or Elizabeth Lail

    I didn't even know Elizabeth Lail's name came up. It would be really weird if she got the role of Kara and Meghan Ory got the role of Alex... Anna and Little Red Riding Hood in an other tv show. Honestly though I am all for it. I can see myself really liking that duo.


    After this many OUAT connections I find it kind of weird that Georgina Haig's name never even came up in association with this project even though the long blond hair and blue eyes are the first thing that came to mind when someone says Supergirl...

    It was a speculation from Twitter because both Melissa and Elizabeth dye their hair blonde. They both follow casting director and producer of the show around the same time. And the crew also follow them back. Also, both of them are in LA during the time. I could see Georgina as Kara too but apparently the casting were looking for actress who age around 22-26 and she is 29 so I guess that's why. Sorry my english is weird

    But Rebekah is currently being played by another actress. Maisie Richardson-Sellers now portrays Rebekah after the character swapped bodies.


    They did this because they still wanted to use the character, but Claire Holt was unavailable. So it wouldn't make sense to kill her, especially since they've already stated she's always welcome to return (Rebekah's original body is still safe somewhere).


    Claire's role on The Originals is no problem. I think her role on Aquarius is a bigger problem. Isn't she already a regular on that show? I know it isn't impossible to be a regular on two shows at the same time, but it seems unlikely after Claire stated she wanted to work less to focus more on her family. Doing two show (and being the lead in one) seems like more work rather than less...

    Right but Rebekah's original body is sitting in the compound in her coffin waiting for her soul to be put back inside her body.
    In the mid-season final her mother Esther wanted to use the white oak stake to destroy her daughters body so the body swap would be complete like Finn and Kol's.
    The spoiler says one sibling will kill another so I believe Finn will destroy Rebekah's body ( Claire leaves he show for good GOOD ) and hen she'll sill live on in her new body.
