As Ian beings to regain some of his senses, he is upset to find himself under a mandatory 72-hour hold at the psych ward.

Meanwhile, when Frank returns home from the hospital refusing to apologize to Sammi and with a new determination to take care of himself without her help, Sammi is forced to take more drastic measures to teach Frank a valuable lesson.

In the aftermath of her sleeping with Jimmy, Fiona must make tough decisions regarding her potential romantic future with Jimmy or Gus.

Lip learns that he never filled out his financial aid forms and that his tuition is short $12 thousand. Debbie works hard to get out of the ‘friend zone’ with Derek. Carl seizes an opportunity from Sammi to make Chuckie his slave. And after V moves out, Svetlana moves in with Kev in exchange for the performance of some odd ‘wifely duties’.

When Gus announces he’s leaving to go on tour, Fiona is further confused by the status of their fragile relationship.

Meanwhile, Frank recovers from his gunshot wound and pretends to make nice with Sammi, but he also silently plots his revenge in their new, escalating war of the roses.

Also, still in need of tuition money, Lip convinces Kev to come to the dorms and sell drugs and make them both some fast cash.
