I know most readers are going to disagree but after watching the entire last season of Scandal on Netflix, I'm so over the show. I'm really tired of the Olivia and Fitz affair. Is this going to be the underlying story of all future episodes? I'm finished.
I hate the Olitz as well. I doubt Olivia will be able to tolerate being in the same room with Fitz once she returns. The story is not about Olitz, it's about a fixer. I think this fixer is learning the hard way that her Fitz fantasy is not only toxic but deadly.
Olivia ist not a small poor thing. She willingly slept and started a relation with a married president. She says no to Edison, she spents months alone in an island with an handsome, single man. Why don't she stucks in him? Why doesn't she tell Fitz : I don't love you anymore. I don't want you anymore. Vermont will never happen. Move on. Why? Don't blame Fitz like they're aren't in this together and for all Olivia's weaknesses. He is a man with his qualities and his faults, his strengths and weaknesses. It is neither a god nor a devil. For this reasons I love this character
I have my opinion, you have your's. Everybody is free in this forum.
Olivia and Fitz have one of the most devastating love story i ever seen in a fiction. To love Fitz with such intensity and all the negative consequences for her and for him makes Olivia extremely scared. She prefers leave him than feel guilty about this adulterous relationship. She always says to him that she is ruining him.
Olivia has Jake now in her life. A single, available, handsome and free guy.Why don't she stucks in him? Why doesn't she tell Fitz : I don't love you anymore. I don't want you anymore. Vermont will never happen. Move on. Why? Because Olivia loves Fitz with all his heart , all his soul and his body. Fitz has never hidden his sensitive and vulnerable side to Olivia . "I know you because you let me know you". (Olivia)
Olivia 's father is extremely powerful , she was raised with children of kings and princes. Her customers are very high social status . It is familiar to power, so, she can't be particularly fascinated by it. It is not for power that she loves Fitz , but for other reasons obvious of not. But you can not see them if you like , you write that you hate this couple. I'll leave the discussion here.
Fitz is not perfect as a man, husband or father. Nobody is perfect in scandal , in real life either. But, I don't see him emotionally abusing his children.
You see what you want to see. I'm not here for a fight. (I'm here and i hope you to) because we all love the Show and his amazing characters. I prefer to talk about what i love than waste my time to dismantle what don't suit me. I love to talk about Fitz (yes Fitz), Olivia, Cyrus, Abby, Mellie and others...
I repeat: i love Fit'z character. He is a man with his qualities and his faults, his strengths and weaknesses. It is neither a god nor a devil.
what she was with Fitz in her dreams with a huge rock on her hand living a happy life when she is in hell in reality, how did the dream NOT show they are in love and what she wants in life??
Abby tells us that when she asked Liv where are Fitz' kids, Karen and little Teddy. where Mellie? Where's the press that would be here every day all day. Where Huck? What about Jake? Abby forces LIv to confront the reality. vermont only exist in her mind and right now no man is coming to rescue you. You have to do it yourself.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
oh, God, I can't wait for next Thursday. I need this now.
