I read somewhere that they will show how the kidnappers got her out of her apartment building. I got a feeling there will also be flashbacks from her past. This looks good.
ReplyDeleteThank god, it's from Olivia's point of view.
ReplyDeleteYou know that when Shonda writes an episode for Scandal, it will deliver.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see if fitz finds olivia
ReplyDeleteApparently, if he does, it will be in the following episode.
ReplyDeleteHe's the President so he will not be going on the road to look for her. I think he will be the one marshalling resources to facilitate finding her.
ReplyDeleteIt said this episode will be from OLivia's point of view, which I absolutely love.
ReplyDeleteYeah, Fitz will be calling the shots. Jon Tenney said to Tvline..."Do not mess with Fitz lady"! This is going to be good!
ReplyDeleteFight for her life? They got jokes. Olivia won't die, she's the star. I love the Olivia POV set up. I believe there will be some flashbacks to her past. Looking forward to seeing what happens.
ReplyDeleteEvery Scandal episode she has written has been pure gold so far, so I'm really excited! Just caught up with this season of Scandal and it is miles better than season 3!
ReplyDeleteIt's also extremely interesting that all of the show's series high were under Shonda's pen (and directed by Tom Verica). The current series high was also penned by Shonda and directed by Tom. So, possible series high? (yeah, keep dreaming)
ReplyDeleteBut yes, this season has been a vast improvement over season three. It has some flaws, some glaring ones, but it has a season 2 feeling to it. Shonda turned down the craziness. And I'm happy for it! (And even happier that Olivia finally remembered that she has a firm to run and a job!)
Scandal always surprises us, but I expect it to hit 4s for the season 5 premiere, so I think the ratings will be high, but not that high.
ReplyDeleteAnd yeah, it does have the season 2 air to it; it's still pretty crazy, but I feel that is a more cohesive storytelling and good build up that has made this season vastly better than season 3
I don't know. Scandal will have to peak eventually. So I think that if a 4 doesn't happen this season, it might never happen. But who knows?
ReplyDeleteScandal is that one show that you can never really count out.
My favorite episode so far this season was the one where Tom went all Helen of troy on Olivia. Plus, it doesn't hurt that Olivia is back to being herself and not a crybaby.
If TWD has taught me anything is that peaking at some point is most likely, but not a certainty. That being said, I think once Scandal hits 4s, it won't go higher than that
ReplyDeleteScandal is not exactly TWD (although the growth in ratings is comparable)
ReplyDeleteSo excited for this. It's been way too long.
