Elena Satine has been promoted to series regular on ABC's Revenge. Her character, the "black sheep" of a wealthy Southern family, first befriended Victoria Grayson (Madeleine Stowe) at a psychiatric hospital earlier this season and later seduced Daniel Grayson (Joshua Bowman). Louise also is mentally unstable, frequently seeing hallucinations of her mother.

ReplyDeleteSo not only have we lost two of the show's better characters (Daniel and Aiden) but we've also gained an incredibly annoying and pointless character. Someone on the production staff really has a warped sense of humour, Suddenly Charlotte doesn't seem so bad.

ReplyDeleteDont really understand all of the Charlotte hate. The actress playing her has her weaknesses, and some of the problems with her character are on the writers for doing things like having her try to kill Emily, but at least she is an important character, especially with the return of David. I am a million times more interested in finding out what Emily told her in the letter when she left town than anything involving Malcolm Black, Louise, Margaux, Ben etc.
ReplyDeleteWhat?One of the most annoying character in the show who i thought was going to bite the dust within 2-3 episodes practically annoyed the hell out of me for practically half a season & now to find out she's replacing the recently departed daniel's role!Urgh!!

ReplyDeleteI don't even know why she's there. She just seemed to appear out of nowhere. It could be interesting I suppose but I don't like the character.
ReplyDeleteThe biggest loss is Conrad. He sparred with Victoria better than anyone and was deliciously unscrupulous. He is by far the biggest loss. He owned his own faults and made no excuses. Daniel had his moments with Emily, but as a stand alone character he was not very interesting, though he tried. Aiden was too much part of S2 which completely turned the show into the leaking ship it's been ever since. The addition of him equals the Initiative and all of the disaster that was S2. I'd take Conrad back over Daniel/Aiden any day.

ReplyDeleteI actually LOVE this character, and Elena Satine is doing such a phenomenal job playing her. I love everything about her, she's a more interesting, complex character than Margaux will ever be. Sorry, Karine, I loved you in Pan Am but Margaux needs to go. Can't wait to see where her storyline is headed and whether she'll get the help she needs or become a big problem to Emily/Nolan etc or even join them? EXCITED.
