NBC 5.0/ 8
ABC 3.0/ 5
Fox 1.7/ 3

(Note: CBS aired The Grammy Awards on the year-ago evening).
Fox: -15, NBC: -19, ABC: -23, CBS: -65

Note: The following labels are based on the household overnights and are subject to change given the availability of other pending data streams. The overnights are your first look at what to potentially expect when the other results come in. And we always take into account other benchmarks including the expected demographic ratings, potential DVR usage, the critical acclaim (or lack of) and the social media presence. Keep in mind, as always, that results for any live sporting event are always approximate.
-Winners:
“60 Minutes” (CBS), “The 63rd Annual Miss Universe Pageant” (NBC)
-Honorable Mention:
“Undercover Boss” (CBS)
-Losers (excluding repeats):
“Mulaney” (Fox), “Galavant” (ABC), “Resurrection” (ABC)
———-
-Ratings Breakdown:
CBS topped the Sunday overnights, besting second-place NBC by 14 percent in households. But “The 63rd Annual Miss Universe Pageant” on NBC was on the map with a 5.2 rating/8 share from 8-11 p.m., which was a hefty 79 percent above the year-ago overnight performance (2.9/ 5) on Saturday, Nov. 9, 2013. Chances are this will be enough to win the block in key adults 18-49.
Earlier in the evening on NBC was “Dateline” at a second-place 4.5/ 7 from 7-8 p.m., which trailed competing newsmagazine “60 Minutes” on CBS (6.8/11) by 34 percent.
Next on the Eye net was a Sunday 8 p.m. edition of inspirational “Undercover Boss” at a dominant 5.5/ 8 from 8-9 p.m., followed by back-to-back original episodes of “CSI” (9 p.m.: #1, 5.3/ 8; 10 p.m.: #2: 5.1/ 8), which remains on the fence for renewal next season.
In season (or series) finale news, recent musical ABC entry “Galavant” exited with a whimper at a 2.5/ 4 in the overnights at 8 p.m. (#3). And it led into an identical 2.5/ 4 for the season (or series) finale of sophomore “Resurrection” at 9 p.m., which lost considerable steam in this second season. “Revenge” followed with a typically diluted 3.0/ 5 (#2) at 10 p.m. And veteran “America’s Funniest Home Videos” opened the night for the alphabet net with a 4.0/ 7 at 7 p.m.
On Fox, another burn-off episode of “Mulaney” was virtually invisible at a 0.8/ 1 in the 7 p.m. half-hour. Not every comedian is worthy of a sitcom, no doubt. And it led into a repeat of “The Simpsons” at a 1.2/ 2 at 7:30 p.m. (#4), followed by an original installment of “The Simpsons” (#4: 2.2/ 3), “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” (#4: 2.0/ 3), “Family Guy” (#4: 2.4/ 4) and “Bob’s Burgers” (#4: 1.8/ 3) from 8-10 p.m.

Whoa, Mulaney is even lower in HH than nearly all CW shows!
ReplyDeleteABC needs better filler for Sunday's and Thursdays
ReplyDeleteAFV is still doing great
Boing night like every sunday night on broadcast tv until march ratings-wise.
ReplyDeleteCan Mulolney hit a 0.3?
Galavant may be a loser but its a winner in my heart, a hero fighting against the mediocrity of network TV to bring us something different. I'm going to go and cry now whilst singing a song.
ReplyDeleteThough I don't think it needs a final season maybe They use Revenge final season as a bridge for TGIT ( it would probably do a 1.2-1.3 ish if promoted as a final season )
ReplyDeleteThursdays agree 100%, Sundays I think it is not worthy programming. There are three usable Sundays in January and February. The others are occupied with Golden Globes, NFC Championship Game, Super Bowl, Grammys and Oscars. Out of these three, one of them is the first one of January which can be used to premiere The Bachelor like NBC did with Celebrity Apprentice. Then they would just not be using 2 decent Sundays (last night and one in the middle of February between Grammys and Oscars). They can air Bachelor specials on those nights or something. For the remaining nights against the big events, they just simply air movies.
ReplyDeleteI've suggested that before. I would like to see a lineup like this:
ReplyDeleteBeyond the Tank | Anthology Series | Revenge (the anthology series being the highest rated of Secrets and Lies and American Crime)
If none of the anthology series works, then just: The Taste | Beyond the Tank | Revenge
True
ReplyDeleteAs said above maybe they use revenge as a TGIT bridge
Im still hoping for a renewal of Galavant until they confirm otherwise here here for a magnificent not stereotypical show.
ReplyDeleteWell, it actually did much better than the last 2 weeks, a loser compared to Resurrection last year. But as you say and Im not fangirling here because I have seen a lot of people liking the show online and in here, but America well Nielsen Households are too stuck on NCIS & drama sh.%^&&** I JUST HOPE ABC is so clever enough to Renew this show everything about the show is so clever and creative......ugh!
ReplyDeleteI believe Sundays will keep us excited enough in the meantime. It's crazy how much is happening there.
ReplyDeleteLast week: Backstorm premieres
This week: TGIT returns
The week after: Blacklist and Allegiance debut
The week after: The Slap premieres
The week after: The Odd Couple premieres + Two and a Half Men 1 hour finale
The week after: Mom moves to 9h30 + Murder finale
The week after: American Crime debuts
Crazy isn't it?
The only argument I could have for its renewal is that ABC had to know what they were doing when they threw it against the big events. They couldn't have expected much better. But sadly I don't think that is enough of an argument, I think it is still very much likely to be cancelled.
ReplyDeleteI don't have a lot of hope it will be renewed because ABC doesn't tend to take chances on low rated comedies but until its officially cancelled I will cling onto it. In the words of the show itself "“Will all the singing kill our Nielsen ratings?"
ReplyDeleteI feel Beyond the Tank will be used for Tuesday.
ReplyDeleteThe Taste would be useless, if one their Summer reality is successful they could use it OR bring in WifeSwap etc- just something that can crack a 1
ABC did take a big chance on Happy Endings when they renewed it after its Season 1 (mostly very low rated when airing at 10pm Wednesdays) and placed it after Modern Family. Also, I would argue that giving a back 9 to Trophy Wife last year, a show that was already very clearly a ratings loser, was also taking a chance on the show. Even upgrading The Goldbergs to the post middle slot was taking a chance.
ReplyDeleteOn the other hand, canning Malibu Country after decent retention from Last Man Standing and canning Suburgatory last year were the opposite of giving chances, so it is a mixed bag.
I know it's sad. But I wonder why would the actors been on twitter all night long yesterday if they already knew it was canceled and I don't know I have a feeling all my picks from last year got renewed, they wouldn't leave it as big as of a cliffhanger like that if they knew they were going to end it if ratings were not good, unless they were certain they would come for a second season. I don't know, here for hope!
ReplyDeleteI'm really eager to know who will survive these Thursdays. Insanity.
ReplyDeleteNetworks are really battling for that day!
Looks like revenge did the same as last week 😔
ReplyDeleteI am sure ABC will continue to win Til Feb after that who knows
ReplyDeleteI'm not blown away from the Revenge winter finale, but still hoping their ratings will keep steady or rise even.
ReplyDeleteI wanted Beyond the Tank on Tuesdays this Spring badly as a lead-in for Shield. But next fall, I feel like ABC will need that slot to develop new comedies or even a new drama. I don't see them having room for more reality hours on the midweek schedule from the fall, hence my suggestion of using it on Thursdays midseason. I also don't think it is a type of show that they can have on for the full year (since each episode would be focused on a successful entrepreneur that had been to Shark Tank and I believe there are only so many successful cases worthy of making an entire hour about).
ReplyDeleteI do agree entirely about bringing a successful summer reality show to the regular season. I think that was their goal this year when trying out The Quest and Rising Star. Sadly for them, none of them clicked, so they were left with nothing. But since they have so much room in their summer schedule, I think they should try again. It is too bad that the TGIT hiatus happens at the same time as the bachelor is airing or else they could simply plug in one of those bachelor spin offs like the bachelor pad that was regularly pulling mid 1s in the summer.
I don't know with this show and ABC, the way they fast burnt Galavant, they didn't even show half hours episodes at least to build up a decent fan base in a 8 weeks run, plus a cliffhanger like that. I think it could go either way, they already planned on renew or cancel it regardless of the ratings.
ReplyDeleteCan somebody tell me if Resurrection has solved every mystery in last night's episode?
ReplyDeleteThere was closure but ended on cliffhanger but they really never answered why they are back
ReplyDeleteMy guess for survival:
ReplyDelete- TGIT survives
- The Blacklist survives
- The Slap is cancelled
- Allegiance is 50/50. I expect it to post ~80% of the blacklist so mid to high 1s. Depends on where exactly it falls and whether or not NBC thinks it can do better in the fall with the many conspiracy thrillers it has in development
- TBBT obviously survives and so does Mom
- Elementary survives but is moved to Sunday 10pm for syndication purposes
- The Odd Couple could go either way. It's hard to be positive about a post TBBT comedy since they've all been canned and it is hard to be positive about a midseason CBS comedy since they've all been canned. But I think chances are decent enough, so I would lean towards renewal
- Backstorm ends up cancelled and pulled soon for an earlier return of Bones. Bones itself pulls numbers on par with the ones from the fall so it comes down to costs at season's end.
- The CW has renewed both of its Thursday dramas so no excitement there.
Thank you. So, I think I won't watch the second season, because I don't like shows without a real end.
ReplyDeleteAgreed ! How about American Crime? I am torn on this one
ReplyDeleteThe fast burnt was actually a better schedule than single halves would have allowed for. That is why I think the burn off accusations are 100% unjustified. For two reasons:
ReplyDelete1) Had it aired halves, it would have been airing alone for the entire month of February. Resurrection and Revenge may not be of much help but I don't think airing a single original half hour in a sea of repeats would be better.
2) Had it aired halves, it would have not only gone up against Globes and NFC but also against the Grammys and the Super Bowl which would have been insane. This schedule was bad but at least it got two weeks of regular competition and two weeks of crazy events. A one episode schedule would have meant something like 3 regular Sundays and 4 Sundays against big events, one of them being the Super Bowl in which the show was very likely to dip below 0.5 or something (no network airs originals on those nights). The alternative would have been to double pump in some weeks and have breaks in other which would still be very bad.
I thought the ending was closed enough. The last 5 second (it's literally that) open the doors for you to question things and to propel a possible third season but every character arc is resolved and the final scenes feel very much like a series finale.
ReplyDeleteThey do not explicitly answer the question of why they are back but they acknowledge in the show why is it that they are not answering that, in a quite clever way and it felt satisfactory to me (I am sorry for not going deeper, I don't want to spoil you).
I personally thought the second season was miles better than the first so I would encourage you to watch. I also don't like shows without a real end but I felt there was a real end here. Just my two cents ;)
My other take is that they were only sampling the show, the way they fast burnt it they already knew it was going to crash but the word of mouth of the show is great, the only ones Ive seen whining and complaining are the Oncers that they think this is competition towards Once Upon a Time only because they took the spot in their winter break.
ReplyDeleteSame here
ReplyDeleteForgot about that one. I dunno. I don't think the show is meant to strive on a broadcast network. it feel too much like a niche cable show that won't be embraced by the masses. I also feel that it has nothing to do with the Scandal audience, quite the contrary. This being said, it is also one of those shows that could surprise me and open very big a la Empire or Resurrection. And the timeslot is quite good since it has almost no competition (unless Allegiance surprises big time) and it has a very good lead-in. So I am torn there.
ReplyDeleteI feel like ABC will want to renew one of its spring dramas though, so either that one or Secrets and Lies probably gets a nod to be back on a midseason schedule again and ABC clearly prefers this one judging by the schedule.
Thank you :) I'll wait until the second season will come to Italy. Then, i will decide if watch it or not :) So, in the last 5 seconds there was a sort of cliffhanger right?
ReplyDeleteI heard revenge was very boring last night so i am surprised it did not Fall and is not listed as 'loser'. I will watch it tonight
ReplyDeleteThe Slap will die soooooooo soon, doubt it'll survive a couple of weeks!
ReplyDeleteAllegiance has better chances as it got the post Black list slot, but I'm more into Oddysey, sounds better to me.
Elementary will get renewed for syndication, while I got a feeling The Couple will make it through, barely.
I just hope Reign won't take a to big hit from this, I know it is renewed but I want it to be fall not summer show.
I didn't watch Revenge yet, but I don't think you need to worry, because people ALWAYS say that the show is boring.
ReplyDeleteThe episode was okay but it was just slower then the other episodes this season
ReplyDeleteNo but people who love the show (aciel, omabin and so on) said it was boring and they are revenge lovers
ReplyDeleteHmm okax well i was expecting it to be slow which is fine with me. If it had been as intense as last week I Would probably have a heart attack :D
ReplyDeleteLast weeks ending didnt leave me too hopeful that last nights episode would be good.
ReplyDeleteAFV will likely be ABCs strongest show last night.
ReplyDeleteHow is Mulaney still airing? why didnt FOX burn off the episodes faster?
I have not watched revenge yet but i heard it was boring. Last year the mid season finale was boring as well. The episode "hatre" was boring IMO and did not have a good cliffhanger either
ReplyDeleteI loved the epsiode last night . And the promo for the next one is amazing
ReplyDeleteMe too I expected it to be a slower episode then usual.
ReplyDeleteI guess there are different opinions :)
ReplyDeleteTrue bur i will watch and then judge
ReplyDeleteYeah I consider Revenge to be one of my absolute favorite shows and I thought last night episode was really weak. Because I love Revenge I never find the episodes purely bad but I can still recognize it was weak. It felt like a bunch of what normally would have been B-plots in normal episodes thrown together and an episode made out of that. Like there was no A plot.
ReplyDeleteHmm okay but i think every show needs that sometimes
ReplyDeleteHm.. I am trying to think how to say it without spoiling you.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't say it was a cliffhanger per se in the sense that it didn't affect the resolutions of any of the characters. It sort of made you question what you were seeing and imply that things weren't as clear as they were looking. Does this help? Sorry, I am bad at this :P
The episode set up some interesting plot points but the pace was much much slower and everything would've been fine if the promo was maybe more exciting to get you going for after the break.
ReplyDeleteOne thing to celebrate: Revenge no longer has resurrection as its lead-in
ReplyDeleteI love revenge and everyone knows that I'm a major fan, but the episide just wasn't as good as the other episodes this season. I guess every once in while a show just has these episodes. Hopefully revenge will make a good comeback in March
ReplyDeleteI don't think it was needed. They would have been better of leaving with last week's episode or making it a two part if they really wanted an episode for this week. The big problem is that after watching the episode you have no idea what the rest of the storyline for the show will be. But I will talk about it with you after you watch it, it's better ;)
ReplyDeleteI am sure they will be releasing more than one promo
ReplyDeleteThe Slap is going to be great, Elementary will not move. Odd couple huge fail, Backstrom returns
ReplyDeleteSecrets & Lies will go by the way of Gracepoint, its a remake of an Australian show, I already know who the Killer is & Phillipe said he will only do one season, S& L should catch all the flak Gracepoint did
ReplyDeleteI hope so..
ReplyDeleteJacob has always had weird connections with other returned. I didn't think the baby "hurting" him was proof of anything
ReplyDeleteThey never said everyone would come back so I feel that wasn't really a question in need of answer. The premise of the show was never that everyone who died would come back, hence rendering death irrelevant, but rather that some people were coming back. I don't think it would be possible to ground a show in which death had no meaning whatsoever, where would be stakes in that?
ReplyDeleteAs for the Jacob, obviously the final scene of the locusts makes it seem like there was something more to be told about that but since we won't get it I think it is fine to assume that the effects were only lasting while the baby wasn't born. I understand your point here though, it is just a matter of whether or not you feel okay with the way things were left. I agree that more could be developed, but I think it was still acceptable
There are 6 weeks of wait will probably get a lot of short promos. I won't spoil you anymore until you watch the ep.
ReplyDeleteI thought it was good :) there was a sort of cliffhanger
ReplyDeleteI think it seems more soapy than Gracepoint did and could fit better with the ABC audience but that is not saying much I admit. I am not hopeful about the show survival either. But Phillipe only doing one doesn't mean anything in this case since the show (like American Crime) is supposed to be an anthology series, which means each season there would be a new story with new characters (like AHS)
ReplyDeleteI think it was just sad that they wanted to have one of these episodes as the ending point of the winter season before a big break. That's not the way to leave people excited for the return. They should have burned an episode like this in the middle of a run of episodes, not as an ending point.
ReplyDeleteRevenge is a 4 year old show, it's supposed to do decent without lead-in imo.
ReplyDeleteI mean The Slap seems so bland and childish, juts terrible! Surprised NBC went for that.
ReplyDeleteAs for Odyssey, they are very thin on the promotion level, they need much more of it. But think it could do well if people give it a chance.
For Reign I possibly see a 8-8 episode launch, maybe 8 eps airing during winter and the rest in the summer. But as said I'm glad the show will come back, cause I hope we see post Francis Mary and her journey back home.
In a perfect world, that would be the case, but as things are as of right now, I'll take any help Revenge can get
ReplyDeleteRight? Instead of all these Family Guy reruns they should have just burned off six episodes of Mulaney...
ReplyDeleteI never thought I would see the day when America’s Funniest Home Videos beats all other ABC's Sunday shows.
ReplyDeleteThinking about Resurrection's crashing and burning, it was a thing to celebrate for Revenge just 10 months ago.
ReplyDeleteHas FOX scheduled an original Mulaney for next week against the Super Bowl?
ReplyDelete'Til Death 2.0
Question: how many episodes would you order for these shows? 8 or 10 seems like a good number.
ReplyDeleteI actually don't think the slap looks so bad, I am even interested. But I adore most of the cast so I am a bit partial. I do think I am a minority though and I can't see the show making it.
ReplyDeleteRegarding Odyssey, I think it is because it is still very far ahead in time. Before it and AD premieres, they still have: Blacklist launch on Thursday, Allegiance premiere, Slap premiere, Voice premiere, Night Shift premiere, Undateable and One Big Happy premiere. I understand, chronologically speaking, why most of those things should come before Odyssey right now in terms of promotion. Also, I suspect they will hope that AD does most of the heavy work on Sundays and that Odyssey just manages to retain well. And I happen to think that is a solid strategy and better than hoping to attract a whole lot of audience to a Sunday 10pm drama.
Go Revenge ! #FrenchRevenger
ReplyDeleteNope
ReplyDeleteI think Reign will, stay behind VD next season whether that's for 22 episodes or 13.I think this because 1.evryone expected it to move this fall but it didn't.Evryone expected it be moved at Midseason but it wasn't.2.The fact Czw didn't use VD as a launching pad now, especially this fall makes them less Likley to do so next season when it's ratings are even lower.
ReplyDeleteI agree 0.4 out of 0.8 without strong completion is bad but The 100 can't keep half of Arrows audience either even before Empire, with a lower rated /repeat MF .
Ouch!...Resurrection...
ReplyDeleteElementary is practically certain to be moved. It's one of the worst rated show on the Big 4. The only dramas rating worse than Elementary are Forever (certain to be cancelled) and Revenge (if renewed, it would be for syndication purposes, and it has a much tougher slot anyway), in addition to some cancelled shows like Gracepoint or Red Band Society.
ReplyDeleteWhy would Backstorm be returning? Do you expect it to survive the avalanche of competition coming its way after a so-so 1.9 start last week while Idol also weakens as its season goes on? It is not impossible but the odds of that happening certainly aren't good.
The 100 isn't doing much better. It is still doing better but not by all that much. But that is no reason to say Reign is doing well.
ReplyDeleteI didn't expect it to move last year because last year it was actually performing quite decently and because the CW had other priorities last year like launching the flash and it also had another slot to launch a female drama, behind the originals. This midseason I expected it to move (or the virgin, one of the two) because I thought the CW would like the messengers more than it does. But surely next year they will like their fall shows well enough to premiere them in midweek slots and Reign's slot will come in handy for it.
My guess/ desire for the CW is for them to premiere their best female skewing show (with some fantasy elements) with Supernatural and the best male skewing show after the Flash. The rest of the schedule should be rearranged accordingly. I also think it would be a good idea to try to strenghten the Originals as much as possible and prepare it to take over TVD which won't be around much longer. They don't want to find themselves in a situation in which they have no show capable of dealing with Thursdays. So I would do this:
Monday: New Female Drama | Supernatural
Tuesday: The Flash | New Male Drama
Wednesday: Arrow | The 100 or another New Male Drama if they have two of those
Thursday: The Vampire Diaries | The Originals
Friday: Jane the Virgin | America's Next Top Model and later Jane the Virgin | Reign
Whose Line Is It Anyway deserves a break and should be used to propel the CW's schedule on the summer.
i think it would've been better if they left of the last episode as the ending point before the big break
ReplyDeleteI don't think there is room for more than 8. There are 34 Thursdays in the regular season. Out of these, 1 is Christmas Eve, 1 is NY's Eve and the other is Thanksgiving. On those they shouldn't even air the winter lineup proposed, they should air their huge myriad of Christmas specials and obviously their New Year Special.
ReplyDeleteThis leaves 31 Thursdays. TGIT requires 23 nights, assuming 22 Scandal + 24 GA (with one GA aired as a 1 hour episode somewhere).
So 34-3-23=8.
Now the question is when to launch this. I think there are two scenarios:
1) If they are really serious about this winter lineup, then I think they should let TGIT return after Thanksgiving and air it in December, bringing it back only in March - basically the same schedule GA and Scandal had last year
2) If they aren't that serious about the winter lineup, then they end TGIT before thanksgiving and start the winter lineup the week after, break it two weeks for Christmas and NY and then have it come back in January with TGIT coming back in early February - basically the same schedule as TGIT has this year.
I agree entirely. Or made it a two part. I would have liked to see more of Emily-Victoria incarcerated. They could have had one episode with them incarcerated ending with Victoria leading Malcom to Jack and one episode with Jack and David coming for the rescue. The entire Louise storyline could have been used as a B plot in the meantime, they just wouldn't have been able to include Emily in that but that would have been okay.
ReplyDeleteanything that you put on sundays at 10 is lead in dependent
ReplyDeleteSo Resurrecton did like 0.7 or .8 like Galavant?...
ReplyDeleteI hate the Miss Universse Give the crown to Jamaica!
No. And they also didn't schedule it during the holidays. It's strange.
ReplyDeletei would've loved to see that
ReplyDeleteexactly..that lead-in stuff is nonsense ayway all shows should sink or swim on their own
ReplyDeleteno it is not! Shows like castle only get a better rating sometimes because of their lead-in
ReplyDeleteSecrets and Lies is nothing more than a remake of an Australian show, we already know the killer.. it should receive all the crap Gracepoin got for being a remake,, btw Phillipe said this is a one time thing for him, back to movies
ReplyDeleteyes, bu Tom's baby is what made all the hundreds of thousands of others to return, Tom should have been addressed
ReplyDeleteWhat is up with your negativity?
ReplyDeleteAgree with your Odyssey observation. But think it will have a tough job with Battle Creek airing in the time slot, if I'm not wrong. But BC isn't getting any love from CBS either so will be interesting to see how it'll goes down.
ReplyDeleteIDOL is a joke
ReplyDeletepeople from day one of hearing of it said Empire would die after two shows too,,
ReplyDeleteI didn't say Reign was doing well, I admitted 0.4 out of 0.8 .However, as I said VD will Likley be at 0.5 in spring, which isn't good enough to anchor the night or leadin to new shows and if CW were to put a new show after a show getting 0.5s,people will complain about Czws poor scheduling like they did this season( saying how TO isn't strong enough at 0.6s to leadin to a new show) or a couple years ago when Cult premired 0.5-0.6 rated HoD.Secondly, the fact CW left Reign post VD this season says to me they're tired of launching new shows after VD and them not being hits so they're giving up trying, much like ABCFamily with PLL this Midseason where they moved a vetran established show behind it after years of new shows not doing well after it.I don't think The 100 will or should get a third chance behind Arrow,it got a 0.5 out of a 1.1 last week and in Dec with the crossover a 0.6 out of a 1.4,that really bad.I don't think TO will ever be behind VD, Pedowitz said he wanted spinoffs to stand on thier own and it has,it's improving Mon nights and I think if they were going to pair VD,Tzo it would've been in season one.

ReplyDeletePredictions for Mulaney? 0.4?
ReplyDeleteIn Season 1 of TO:
ReplyDelete1) TVD was still strong enough to launch new shows
2) The CW didn't have enough anchors to cover all days so they needed TO to stand on its own
3) TVD wasn't still nearing its end so Thursdays were still covered.
Situation has changed. The CW can afford to put both shows on the same night hoping that TO can succeed TVD later on.
Odyssey is dead in the water the Premise of a global cover-up & only one eye witness.. please
ReplyDeleteAFHV: 1.7
ReplyDeleteGalavant: 1.1
Resurrection: 1.0
Revenge. 0.9
Zachary Quinto fans will be all over the Slap
ReplyDeleteah!
ReplyDeleteUB: 1.5
ReplyDeleteCSI: 1.3
CSI: 1.2
I was expecting better for Galavant and Revenge.
ReplyDeleteI knew resurrection was going to beat revenge
ReplyDeleteDateline: 1.3
ReplyDeleteMiss Universe: 1.7/2.0/2.3
I did not know which other show to use as an example
ReplyDeleteLOL
ReplyDeleteI could be wrong but really think Slap won't work. My comment was a bit condescending but from my pov don't see it having the "tools" to survive.
ReplyDeleteMulaney: 0.4
ReplyDeleteSimpsons (R): 0.7
Simpsons: 1.4
B99: 1.2
FG: 1.6
Bob's Burgers: 1.2
Amazing for AFV
ReplyDeleteI find it funny that AFHV was the highest-rated show on ABC. lol
ReplyDeleteRatings are now in the Table
ReplyDeleteDon'tvknow if thatvwill be enough. I'm a fan but notvinto it cause of the story.
ReplyDeleteGalavant halves: 1.2/1.0
ReplyDeleteIt lost six tenths from the AFHV final half-hour (1.8).
ReplyDeleteOuch.
And revenge's?
ReplyDelete0.9/0.9
ReplyDeleteEven at 0.9
ReplyDeleteGalavant did good for it's finale and Resurrection is up. I thought they were gonna be down. Revenge at .9. Not happy about that D:
ReplyDeleteWow those ratings are downright awful for all shows! What the hell? Those are basically repeat levels.
ReplyDeleteI think ABC scheduling against big events truly killed Galavant; it had a chance to succed and they took it away
ReplyDeletePretty weak I think. Boss barely increased from Friday and CSI actually had a decent situation to air last night and still did quite poorly especially in that 9pm showing.
ReplyDeleteUndercover boss halves: 1.3/1.7
ReplyDeleteWoah, that's a big increase among half hours!
I find it funny that the 10 p.m. hour rated higher than the 9 p.m. hour that had a direct UB lead-in at a 1.7, even!
ReplyDeleteThx!
ReplyDeleteThat's prettu good for a 25 yr old show
ReplyDeleteIt is but it's funny, that's all.
ReplyDeletemyagony orediction for next seasons schedule:
ReplyDeleteMon :TO. Jane. Or SPzn
tues:Flash. New show
We'd Arrow. New show
thur: VD. reign
Fri:mix of unscripted & unscripted, maybe Jane as its not really doing well despite everything & I can see it getting 0.3 in spring.
Pedowitz has made it clear that spionoffs won't be ever be paired with thier parents, that's why he didn't pair Aarow/Fladh this season like some expected he would
hate these ratings for revenge.
ReplyDeleteOh well revenge had a terrible january and i am happy it is over.
ReplyDeleteWhat if the rest of the year is worse?
ReplyDeleteYikes, are those series lows for Simpsons and FG? Even for 99?
ReplyDeleteWho knows it might be.... But with OUAT back on and secrets and lies everything seems more alive again
ReplyDeleteCSI is still getting The Mentalist treatment despite not even betting TGW at 9 PM and losing its entire cast.
ReplyDeleteNo, he didn't do it because The Flash could stand together and they are better off spreading the wealth and helping two 9pm shows in the process. The situation is different next year. Also, in your scenario, the CW has no room to launch a new female show and I am sure they will launch one.
ReplyDeleteonly because it was its season finale
ReplyDeleteWell, sub 1s are Revenge's new reality.
ReplyDeleteThis is the first "significant" increase for Resurrection since last may.
i was truly hoping that revenge would go above a 1
ReplyDeleteNo, B99's season low is a 1.1 that it did on 18th of March.
ReplyDeleteIt's the DVR effect I think. People set their DVRs to the usual timeslot. I found it quite frequent, even with repeats. Remember these are Live+SD ratings.
ReplyDeleteIt was the series finale for Resurrection, I'm not really surprised at the jump.
ReplyDeleteI know many will disagree but ABC killed its sunday -up!
ReplyDeleteWinners: Miss Universe
ReplyDeleteMeh: Family Guy, Undercover Boss
Losers: Galavant, Resurrection, Revenge, The Simpsons, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Bob's Burguers, CSI (wow, these are a lot!)
me too Revenge had such a terrible month but glad its over. now we could only hope that Revenge does better after secrets and lies. afterall last year Revenge went up 6 tenths when resurrection premiered
ReplyDeleteAnd almost all of them from ABC! They can't wait for OUAT to come fast enough.
ReplyDelete(I'd put AFHV at a winner since it did surprisingly well.)
True but resurrection was really a monster with that 3.8!
ReplyDeleteWe have all reasons to be optmistic.
ReplyDeleteWalking Dead is still two weeks away and Game of Thrones hasn't even in the horizon to put the nail in the coffin for sunday broadcast television.
Revenge is good at holding its lead ins. if secrets and lies would at least premiere a 1.7-1.8 then i think that revenge could easily get like a 1.2-1.3 after it
ReplyDeleteWhen the walking dead returns nth is on Network tv. Well revenge thank god does not return until march 8th
ReplyDeleteThey better promote it a lot, because if OUAT doesn't gather strength upon returning ABC Sunday will crumble for good
ReplyDeletewho's the killer?
ReplyDeleteWho knows who knows we shall see
ReplyDeleteABC promotes OUAT Almost too much!
ReplyDeleteI wonder if OUAT will be able to return to its S3B levels.
ReplyDeleteHolding at a mid 2 would be fantastic for ABC.
Not like TGIT
ReplyDeleteYeah I tend to ignore the 7pm hour, which is why I didn't include it as winner or Mulaney as loser.
ReplyDeleteTrue! And that seriously gets on my nerves as much as i love scandal and HTGAWM
ReplyDeleteIs one of their strongest players. Can we blame them?
ReplyDeleteRevenge: certain to be cancelled.
ReplyDeleteGreat for you
ReplyDeleteNo? That its eeally bad. I left the show on the episode six of the second season
ReplyDeleteignore them, some people just seem to be happy that Revenge has low ratings
ReplyDeleteMulaney : 999,000 viewers / 0.4
ReplyDeleteWho cares if we tied the World Dog Awards, Jane the Virgin beat a big four show again.
ReplyDeleteMay I ask, why people have the need to say
ReplyDelete"Revenge: Certain to be cancelled" i think we all know that
I'd say its got a small chance of coming back, ABC will keep some low rated shows. I'm gonna guess at a short final season.
ReplyDeletei'm disappointed in revenges ratings, and thought with weak competition that it would at least manage to get above a 1 but then last weeks promo wasn't too exciting. I really think that they should make these promo look intense, to entice viewers to come back.
ReplyDeleteI agree
ReplyDeleteThere is still hope to be renewed at 0.9 in the big four...
ReplyDelete...if you are a NBC comedy.
Half Hours?
ReplyDeleteWhy? It makes sense they promote their most promising shows. It was all that promotion that turned Scandal from a bubble show to the biggest broadcast drama.
ReplyDeleteOmg is that how Simpsons and b99 look like without football damn! I'm happy it was renewed last week those numbers are shocking
ReplyDeleteWell, tbh, Scandal was already growing before all that promotion. ABC was just smart enough to start promoting Scandal like crazy when the surge began.
ReplyDeleteSocial media helped it get noticed by ABC in its second season
ReplyDeletedon't you think it would be interesting to see what every abc drama does at 10pm in january?
ReplyDeleteWhy? TGIT is their biggest day! It does 3x the rating of revenge
ReplyDeleteOn a sunday i meant
ReplyDeleteWhy...?
ReplyDeleteAnything above a 2 is great
ReplyDeleteIf it is as intriguing as Oz I see no problem
Well he did say most Likley to new shows in fall, the rst in Midseason. He has said more than once he wants the spinoffs to stand on thier own, that's why he didn't pair them either time but yes he also wants to spread the wealth.
ReplyDeleteMinus OUAT it was dead before Jan
ReplyDeleteThey did much better in the fall even in evenings without football. I find this a bit shocking.
ReplyDeleteIs their crown jewel. Why wouldn't they promote it like crazy?
ReplyDeleteTo see how low or High they are
ReplyDeleteOz was soooo good!
ReplyDeleteI hope so. I am so excited for the queens of darkness arc. But replicating the success of OZ will be hard I think. Let's cross fingers.
ReplyDeleteIt was! Zelena was wonderful as was Rebecca's chemistry with Lana. They played off each other so well.
ReplyDeleteRevenge is at this timeslot only by itself.
ReplyDeleteABC mismanaged the move at 9 PM but this is the least significant part, their january 2013 schedule still haunts them.
But revenge was hitting mid 1s at best at 9 pm, hence the moving to a later slot.
I think they need to see if it's a really problematic timeslot or if a high concept show can succeed there
ReplyDeleteMeh. I'm not excited at all. Ursula looks so odd, Maleficent's return is rather... what the hell?
ReplyDeleteCruella is the only one interesting.
But I wasn't excited for Oz either so.. let' see!
Viewers left cuz of horrible storylines
ReplyDeletei'm in no way justifying Revenges terrible ratings, but the 9 PM timeslot is a higher viewed timeslot. Everything that has been put on sundays at 10 including brothers and sisters has done terrible.
ReplyDeleteReally, Revenge fans, is it really too complicated to take easy on a speech joke? Why do you take this so seriously?!? BTW I always hope your favourite show (whatever it is) would not get cancelled... anyway there's must be a reason why Revenge ratings dropped so hard to sub 1.0 demos. Am I missing something?
ReplyDeleteAnother thing: I am NOT happy if a tv show drops so much in ratings, I'd like simply to understand why ...
Brothers & Sisters only started doing terribly later on its run.
ReplyDeleteI am exicted they can do more stuff and put their spin on things unlike Frozen Arc
ReplyDeletethx for explaining and i am sorry for being so rude
ReplyDeleteI agree 100%. But I think my favorite aspect was actually how they were able to re-invent the use of flashbacks. I loved the new curse and having them using the flashbacks to cover that time instead of yet more flashbacks of Regina being evil chasing Snow or Snow and Charming. It worked really well for me. I was as interested in the flashbacks as I was in the present day storyline.
ReplyDeletei'm not taking it so seriously. i'm just wondering why people seem so happy to see a show get low ratings, but thnx for explaining yourself
ReplyDeleteWhich time slot do Walking Dead and Game of Thrones air?
ReplyDelete9pm
ReplyDelete
