This table shows the early overnight ratings. These ratings are normally adjusted later in the day when all the ratings have been consolidated to take into account any local preemptions and/or overruns. You can find all the final adjusted numbers in our Ratings Database. (See the About section below for details about ratings)
No early analysis today.
Each day (except Sunday) during the main TV Season we post the TV Ratings for the previous nights primetime shows for the major broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, CW, FOX, NBC). Cable Network ratings will be added to the Ratings Database.
The first item that gets posted (normally around 2pm GMT) is the early overnight analysis based on the early household numbers (these are not the same as the Total Viewers and 18-49 Demo numbers that are posted later).
Next, if available, we will post the Top 25 Market 18-49 Ratings to give you a rough idea of the ratings to following.
Later on (normally between 4pm-5pm GMT) we post the official early overnight Total Viewers and 18-49 Demo numbers in the table above (We also where possible now post the 18-34 and 25-54 Demo Numbers).
Finally, later in the evening (10pm-11pm GMT) or the following day, the final adjusted ratings numbers are released, these are then posted in the Ratings Database. The Final Adjusted numbers are what we use for all our Renew/Cancellation Tables, Full Season Tables, Ratings Scorecards etc (see below). Friday's Final Adjusted Ratings are normally available on the following Monday.
If you’re interested in Ratings/Renewals/Cancellations then we have a number of resources here at SpoilerTV that we recommend you check out.
ouch for the flash! I expected at least a 1.5
ReplyDeleteGreat for Parks & Rec
ReplyDeleteSeries low for The Flash, but still great nonetheless. Parks and Rec is still NBC's highest rated comedy.
ReplyDeleteParks, Parks, Parks!
ReplyDeleteThe Flash returned to a series low?
Against reruns Flash hits a series low lol.
ReplyDeleteWhat is this state of Union thing?
ReplyDeleteI was expecting higher for the flash but a 1.3 is still really good for the CW
ReplyDeletehttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/State_of_the_Union
ReplyDeleteWanted to explain but it'd take too much time lol.
That's disappointing for the flash, I was expecting much higher actually. It's still amazing but there is no reason for it not to have done better. Hopefully it adjusts up.
ReplyDeleteElsewhere, NBC will regret letting go of Parks and Recreation. Those are amazing numbers for the network.
Flash, What happened? I didn't expect that. Especially since the season finale was awesome. Now I'm a little worried about Arrow :\
ReplyDeleteI'm glad SPN is steady. I hope it doesn't adjust down. The Flash will probably adjust up.
ReplyDeleteIt does not matter, everything has been renewed anyway :)
ReplyDeleteAham. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteWow disappointing for The Flash
ReplyDeleteThe Flopsh
ReplyDeleteThat's all that Supernatural got against the state of the union? Usually it gets season highs.
ReplyDeleteYeah, highest rated show on the CW is a flop
ReplyDeleteThat's true. But still lol
ReplyDeleteWhat are the half hours?
ReplyDeleteSupernatural looks good! I'm so glad for that.
ReplyDelete18/49 1/2 hrs below.
ReplyDeleteFlash to adjust up a tenth and SPN down in viewers. Kinda expected better for both given the lack of competition.
ReplyDeleteThat should say it doesn't share an audience with the other shows.
ReplyDeleteWhen there aren't new episodes of The Walking Dead and The Big Bang Theory, their audience don't watch anything. I think that because the competition rarely rise because of their absence. Some series even fall.
I hope Arrow does >1.0 tonight. This Flash number isn't exactly very promising but I don't think I remember an Arrow episode that as much hyped as this one is.
ReplyDeleteHere's hoping Flash gets adjusted up.
ReplyDeleteI personally thought the mid-season finale was weak and I didn't like this episode, so I'm not shocked. OTOH, it's been renewed and is still one of the top rated shows, so I'm not unhappy.
ReplyDeleteYes it does. Budget cuts can always happen if ratings arent satisfying. Arrow already experienced it after S1.
ReplyDeleteI am a little wary with it going against AI & Mentalist how it will do.
ReplyDeleteI am more worried about the 100
ReplyDeleteFor CW still good. Now I am more worried about Arrow and The 100 ratings :-/
ReplyDeleteUgh, why am I this anxious about The 100 ratings tomorrow! I hope it gets at least 0.6. I'm so excited for it though, I know it's gonna be great as usual :)
ReplyDeleteArrow will do fine. It is The 100 I am more worried about
ReplyDeletetrue against empire :s
ReplyDeleteNo they are not promising at all. That's true the episode is definitely generating a big buzz but the problem is that they are working extra hard to promote the episode to get people to watch it because some people decided not to watch live until Oliver comes back. I'm afraid that in their attempt to give the fans of every characters something to look forward to they promised the audience too much and the episode won't deliver.
ReplyDeleteOh you are finally watching the 100? Do you love it? I am glad you took our recommendation, I remember telling you quite often you should watch it! I am always worried about the 100 but for once this season I will be able to watch it without worrying about its renewal. I still worry and still want it to do well, but it's not as bad.
ReplyDeleteMe too! I am just happy that it got renewed already. Please let it do fine!!
ReplyDeleteWell, the mentalist is weaker than Survivor, considerably and I don't see why it should appeal to arrow viewers more than Survivor. As for AI, it's certainly stronger than Hell's Kitchen but the ABC comedies have been hitting season highs with it there, so there is no reason for it to prevent Arrow from doing fine.
ReplyDeleteReminder to people: The CW shows that have been renewed you don't have to worry at all about until next season.
ReplyDeleteTrue but it seems Arrow ratings go lower when AI is in its audition stages.
ReplyDeleteYes i am finally watching it. I have Almost caught up and i am loving it!
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing! I am very glad you are enjoying it! The midseason finale is mind blowing, you must watch soon!
ReplyDeleteLet's hope you are wrong :P
ReplyDeleteAre there really people who won't watch though? People always say they will quit watching when character X or Y dies but the effect is never visible ratings wise.
ReplyDeleteHeh, even on repeat, NCIS dominates the evening :P
ReplyDeleteCan't even beat the lame 'State of the Union'?
ReplyDeleteGlad to see Parks still doing well for NBC. I wish it did better, but only because I think it's one of the best comedies of the last decade... or ever, honestly. And the 2nd episode last night was brilliant, one of the series' absolute best.
ReplyDeleteSome are already Bad like Reign and it still Hot renewed XP
ReplyDeleteOuch The Flash. Still good numbers for CW but I expected 1.5 :( Now how will Arrow and The 100 fare if this will reflect today also.
ReplyDeleteNice to see Parks and Rec doing so well in its final season (well for a NBC comedy that is). I pity the viewers that watched the first ep and then didn't catch the second because that was one of the finest episodes the show has done.
ReplyDeletethat's what I was thinking when I saw the ratings.. the 2nd 30 minutes last night was one of my favorite comedy episode so far this TV season, if not my absolute favorite. It hit every note perfectly. I think this 2-year timejump has paid off for the series, because the tone has remained the same but we're also really getting the feeling of the series wrapping up in a way we might not have otherwise
ReplyDeleteI agree, I though this year's midseason finale was the weakest in the show's history and any Nielsen viewer who saw the promos may have felt it was going to be similar given that that several of the same side characters were in this episode. Not that 1.0 or 0.9 is bad for the show by any means but last season (plus additionally the SOTU was on a week later) 9.12 was a 'fresh episode' with no/little mytharc carryover.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely, it was such an amazing episode, I cried and laughed in equal measure. Yeah the time jump is really working, can't wait to see where all the characters end.
ReplyDeleteIt is too bad that you've been spoiled for it, but it is still amazing to watch, it is one those things that it is not so much the knowing as is the actual watching that makes the moment. It's chilling! You'll love it, for sure!
ReplyDeleteYeah Supernatural!!! :)
ReplyDeleteSupernatural has maintained excellent rates. Great season!
