"I love you"
ReplyDeleteThe first time I didn't hesitate with "the best scene in The Mentalist" poll :D
2 weeks in a row of an obvious answer to this question :-)
ReplyDeleteEvery single one of them !
ReplyDeleteI think I don't need to answer :p
ReplyDeleteThis season is SUCH a Hallmark card, lol. It's funny, I normally wouldn't like that so much but after 6 years of going through all that pain right along with Jane, and five years of dark finales, I love every little bit of the sweetness and sunshine this season has to offer. I can't even pick a favorite scene, the whole episode was so completely wonderful I was grinning like a moron the entire time.
ReplyDeleteOf course the "I love you" scene was the best (so lovely), but I thought the discussion in the trailer about Teresa's brothers missing her was also very touching. Also, Cho's comment about s'mores in the microwave was hilarious.
ReplyDeleteI agree it is really a different relationship than what is normally seen on these types of TV programs. They've done a great job at evolving the relationship this year in a sweet way! I think they are the best couple on TV right now and as you said other shows should watch this as example!
ReplyDeleteYou and me both. I could not stop smiling at all the fluff. The writers are going to give us cavities with all this sweet goodness. :)
ReplyDeleteI agree with you 100%. I'm amazed how well they've been handling Jane and Lisbon as a couple in a way that doesn't undermine who they are. House should have been done the same with House and Cuddy.
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to add after rewatching that I really loved RT's delivery of Lisbon's I love you. The stammer at the beginning, the shyness through all the smiles and then her complete delight at finally saying it. We always praise SB's acting, but RT was so terrific. These two are really selling it this season :)
