Great episode! It was a good refresher after the beat down the Patriots gave the Colts. Lots of Walter/Paige action here. Ratings for this episode will probably be off the chains! Onto tomorrow's episode!
I liked it but it's not my favorite. The shippers will be happy. That was a very sweet scene with Walter dismissing love as not being real while clearly showing it for Ralph, and admitting he likes Paige's voice. Sometimes you just need a nice/sweet scene and this was it.
Great episode! Loved the advice Toby gave Paige about taking care of her most important thing. Paige intently listened when Walter was saying how the thought of people being affected in a meaningful way by the affection of others in a kiss or touch was illogical and therefore not real. Then Paige watched as Walter proceeded to stroke Ralph's hair as he slept. The irony is hard to miss, even for Walter.
One of the better episodes the series has produced, but once again a good episode was ruined by a god-awful ridiculous action scene (the plane). The writers have to lift their game with this stuff. Shoot the tires out, throw something in the engines, but FFS don't drive a stair truck alongside it for all eternity and pretend the plane still ends up not crashing.
I love Scorpion since the very beginning but can they just stop using plane in this show??? The first episode, now this episode too? The most ridiculous plane plots I've ever seen....
Beside everything is great! I love the conversation between Paige and Toby, and how Paige tought Walter about flitting lol and the bonding between Walter and Ralph is one of my favs from this show!
amazing episode!!!! loved all the Walter and Paige scenes, Walter it's getting a little hard to believe you don't have emotions and i was hoping that dream was more than that, like a makeout session and it still made me throw up when in the dream she thought she was with that D-Bag, why in the hell would she think that, i think i saw Walter's brain fizzle out when Paige kept getting closer and closer and very close to his lips LOL
Great episode! I loved the Paige and Walter stuff! I'm glad she saw at the end that there's hope for Walter and emotions. He's getting there! I really adore him and Ralph 's relationship. They're good for each other and I hope Paige sees that *fingers crossed*
That's a hard question to answer. I definitely thing "Charades" was a Waige Fan Service episode - giving Waige shippers something to hope for. While I definitely think it is clear that Walter and Paige are growing closer, I don't think anything romantic-romantic will happen until Drew is gone. Drew has kind of complicated things for WAIGE, but I don't think Drew will have much more screen time. 2 episodes, tops...most likely.
Even though Charades was more of a fan service kind of episode, I loved it so much because making Walter have romantic interactions with a woman I do not ship him with and STILL make that whole undercover scene enjoyable is very hard to do. I think Toby's and Sylvester's side comments is what made that scene worth watching and entertaining. :) I loved how Paige told Walt to tell Sima (or whatever her name is) that there was already another woman..., but Paige did not tell him to add in that "complicated" relationship part.... I totally think Walter was speaking the truth. ;) I also think that every time Walter repeated what Paige had told him to say, he was imagining himself speaking to her; Sima in his mind didn't really exist. lol
aaaaand I think the line "I love hearing your voice in my ear" speaks for itself. I think. :)
I'm just going to requote myself from what I tweeted on Twitter tonight:
WF001Scorpion: "Sometimes love comes in intervals, Walt. 1st it’s the voice you notice. :) Love Comes Softly. :)" (source: https://twitter.com/WF001Scorpion)
Sorry if I went on a tangent. :P When it comes to WAIGE, I can talk for hours. LOL
same here and i'm kind of scared of tomorrow's episode because the D-Bag is there and since tomorrow's episode is 14 and this one was 15 and in the dream she said D-Bag's name i'm horrified that the dream was in part real and she's been you know... or am i completely way off base?
This was an awesome episode! I laughed out loud so many times during the entire episode. There was a bit for everyone: humor, action, romance and a spy story.
The plane scene was an over the top action scene. I wish the plane had crashed or blown up, that would have made at least a bit more believable.
Yea, I do. I think it was her seeing that despite his words, he is capable of those feelings. For his sister (going to UCLA medical), Ralph (reading a comic to him and caressing his head), and her (admitting he likes her voice which means he WAS talking about her earlier). He can get there to a place where he can have a relationship with her.
Actually tonight's episode is 15. They didn't just swap them for appealing to the viewers. They changed the episode order. I think it was wise that they changed the order because now Paige can take her feelings for Walter as well as what she thinks is best for Ralph into consideration when she makes her decision in regards to Drew's offer. :)
Hahaha, great episode, hilarious with action. We got really good scenes for the "Scene of the week" especially first scene of the episode and the end scene.
Usually it is, that people that have problems with being touched have no problems with initiating it. They just can't handle being touched without being the one to start it.
I at all think so, so don't lose hope! This is just Walter showing that he doesn't understand this intellectually but subconsciously, showing that on some level he still FEELS it. This is what Walter does but it doesn't change what he's done for his sister and his team and Ralph. He continually demonstrates that he feels for all of them while saying he doesn't understand it.
Effing B S! Scorpion unveiwable thanks to games always running over and screwing up DVR timeliness. All this technology and innovation, yet cable companies can't figure out software to record shows that get pushed off times.
A bit late but what an amazing episode this was. I loved it. Scorpion is getting better and better. I think Walter is one of my favorite character from this tv season.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
At what time did this finish??
ReplyDeleteIt just finished 5 or so minutes ago.
ReplyDeleteCue the Palter (Paige and Walter) shippers... :)

ReplyDeleteIt was a bad day for football. Still not over my poor Packers.

ReplyDeleteIt's "official" name is Waige.
ReplyDeleteBest episode yet! already seen it twice! :)

ReplyDeletedo you think we're closer to Waige happiness or will it take longer?
ReplyDeleteUntil what time did football go?
ReplyDeleteabout 10:30 pm
ReplyDeleteThx, was it good or boring?

ReplyDeletethe game or Scorpion?
ReplyDeleteyou really think it was that? hope for Walter?
ReplyDeleteWaige? The should come up with something better. Maybe Palter?
ReplyDeleteAwesome episode. The only thing is how cannot understand love when he loves his sister.
ReplyDeleteGreat episode really enjoyed it. Only one little goof, the tailnumber from the airplane was different compared to the airplane in the other scenes.
ReplyDeleteThis was an awesome episode! I laughed out loud so many times during the entire episode. There was a bit for everyone: humor, action, romance and a spy story.
ReplyDeleteThe plane scene was an over the top action scene. I wish the plane had crashed or blown up, that would have made at least a bit more believable.
did you know that Paige ans Walter have their own score or theme song?
ReplyDeleteThe gamw

ReplyDeleteI figured they did. Do you know how to obtain this musical masterpiece?
ReplyDeleteI think Waige sounds more pleasing to the ears than Palter does, in my honest opinion.
ReplyDeleteThey used a real private plane in that scene and actually blew up the side of it. Perhaps they were instructed not to blow it up.
ReplyDeleteno sorry i wish i could so much
ReplyDeletei don't watch football, i only put it so i didn't miss the episode
ReplyDeletei hope so, this episode as awesome as it was every time Walter said that about love made me lose hope but i don't have to?
ReplyDeleteHahaha, great episode, hilarious with action. We got really good scenes for the "Scene of the week" especially first scene of the episode and the end scene.

ReplyDeletePaige flirting with Walter while Sylvester watches the whole thing was hilarious!!

ReplyDeleteBasically, he thinks too much and too hard lol.

ReplyDeleteIt's on the CBS app and CBS.com if you want to see it now.
ReplyDeleteIt actually aired later than it was intended I guess because the game took longer to end.
ReplyDeleteA bit late but what an amazing episode this was. I loved it. Scorpion is getting better and better. I think Walter is one of my favorite character from this tv season.
ReplyDeleteAwful. Love the show, but the consistent logical fallacies in this episode took me completely out of any chance of enjoying it.
