  1. Wow, Lost Girl was having a amazing season, until this episode.

Everything was all over the place and a lot confused, which reminds me a lot of Season 4, and why i stopped watching the show. Not sure i’m going back for the rest. The history now is a whole mess, and to be frankly, i think the writers are more lost than the Lost Girl, at this point. Lack of continuity, the history now is a mess like it was in S4, and characters acting OOC. Well, it was a fun ride (but only sometimes lol)

Good luck for those who will stay. You will need lol

  2. Yeah I've lost interest as well. Plus, they just sank my damn ship in the worst way possible.

  3. Tamzin seemed major ooc at the end there.

  4. That last scene was heartbreaking. Made me cry :-(

  5. I'm glad they did it, then. You're watching television for the wrong reasons if you're watching for "ships".

  6. That's a real asshole thing to say. People watch shows for various reasons, that's their right. Whether or not you like those reasons doesn't matter in the least. Telling someone that their way is the wrong way when you're in no position to dictate what is right or wrong just makes you look like an ass.

  7. I think that's part of the problem.. This is a new relationship for Bo, and romantically it hasn't developed a lot. She's a succubus after all. But Tamsin has been crushing on Bo for so long, and to her this is a relationship that has been developing for some time. Sadly they're on completely different places. Damn those writers, I hated seeing Tamsin so heartbroken...

  8. i loved it when she saw the image of her father!

  9. It is supposed to be confusing. The Oracles were

  10. It is supposed to be confusing. This what the oracles do. The other side of the Family have arrived which causes even more mayhem.

  11. Yeah it is really sad when people dislike an episode because of the "ships".

  12. Now I'm confused. You said you stopped watching but you think this season was good so far? How is that possible?

  13. I LOVE the Ep! Great job. It felt well balanced. Not to much of one person I got to see everyone! The story got moved along. I felt a little closure(for the time being) I also felt a little of our Bo back. You know the one for season 1-3 the one that was missing in season 4 and some of this season. Great acting all around. I even like Mark now! I was Shocked about (fake)Mark and Vex. This ep was a breath of fresh air.

  14. Finally Bo cleared the table with Tamsin. She was stringing her along.
Vex desiring Mark, did not see that one coming. They are going a very traditional route with Dyson, but glad that they still are adressing his feelings for Bo. If he would fall in love with Alicia (that name reminds me so much of Alice, a coincidence?) that easy I would be very disapointed. So it's more and more clear. Bo and Lauren seem to be endgame. I can live with that. They are doing it well.

  15. Awesome episode!!!!! i can't wait to see more of this story. We now know that Hera and Zeus are on earth, now we wait to see who the girl is and more importantly how will Hades come to Earth. By the wait today i leaned that even though Zeus is the ruler of Olympus Hades is the oldest one of the family.

  16. they are siblings. Hera, Zeus, Hades and Poseidon are the children of Kronos (Titans). If I recall Zeus is the jungest. Kronos is the son of Gaua (Earth) and Uranos (Heaven).
Zeus and Hera actually don't have many children most famous ones are:
Ares (God of War), Hepheistos (God of Fire and best Smith).
She could be Hebe the godess of youth.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Maybe, but with Hera being in male body, i'm thinking it might not be a woman.

    ReplyDelete
  18. so Ares and Hepheistos then? they are the only sons they two had together. Unless she is just a child of Zeus and not Hera then the possebilites are endless ;-) Artemis would make sense with her connection to Mark (him beeing a shifter, possibly a wolf).

    ReplyDelete
  19. Well i don't really know that is the problem. The show is so diverse in myth's and legends and mythical creatures that it might be. And what if she is Hercules in woman's body. So we will have to wait and see.

    ReplyDelete
  20. yeah, I don't think they are going the demi god route. They already have Herklues in there, all the bodys beeing descendents of Herkules. Plus Herkules did not have magical powers and Hera despised him.
But you are right, the writers just get inspired by the original stories and put their own ideas and twists into it.

  21. Well I think it's safe to say the Bo Tamsin ship is finally dead.

  22. I LOVED THIS EPISODE AND I AM SO GLAD THAT BO ENDED THE THING WITH TAMSIN! BO BELONGS WITH LAUREN!!! THEY ARE SO HOT TOGETHER! FINALLY, TAMSIN IS OUT OF THE PICTURE. FRANKLY, I WAS ON THE VERGE OF QUITTING THE SHOW BECAUSE IT GOT BORING AND TAMSIN WAS BEING ALL ANNOYING AND CLINGY...DOCCUBUS FTW!

  23. Finally, something happend in this show. Finally the show had something missing for 2 seasons. Bo acted almost normal, the story moved along, everyone had somthing to do, there were past seasons referrences, the Bo/Dyson/Lauren/Tamsin situation is finally cleared up!

  24. I remember that exact comment for the previous episode, too. I think it's a troll.

  25. The young girl is Isis, Zeus says her name in the last episode plus Trick said that Isis was Hera's messenger which is why she does what Hera's vessel tells her and not Zeus.

  26. This is a toughy. I guess it comes down to how much I love this show, and I do love it. It was a much darker episode than the rest, that's for sure. While Rachel Skarsten's acting was superb in an emotional scene, this Episode was downright hurtful for my favorite character, Tamsin, and I am now fearful of all her progress throughout the seasons in the hands of writers who don't seem to appretiate her character. BUT at the same time we got way more Vex and Evony (more of my favorite characters). This isn't an episode I could watch fully again, like some of the earlier, funnier episodes. But, it does make me want to watch the next one, just to see what the heck the ancients want from Bo.

  27. what is tamsin doing in this show anyway? can't you see that Bo will always love Lauren? These two should get married or get involved seriously. I've watched this episode for 5 times and counting 'cause I simply loved it and especially the Doccubus scenes, tbh. I don't give a flying fuck about tamsin's broken heart. I don't even like her. She is officially in the friendzone. Yay! More Doccubus please or I will stop watching the show. You've already ruined the 4th season and the first few episodes of this season! Write something good, damn it!

  28. Valkubus go fuck yourself! Doccubus ftw! Lauren is so much hotter than that stupid Valkyrie and she has soooo sooo much chemistry with Bo. Please guys, kill of the Valkyrie and bring back Kenz. Tam is too lame for Lost Girl.

  29. thank you spoilertv for doing such an awesome job at moderating the discussions!

  30. Happy for Doccubus, sad for Tamsin. She is clearly so hooked on Bo, and to love someone who doesn't love you back is horrible. I didn't get the whole Vex and Mark thing, because he has only known Mark for 5 minutes. How could he be his heart's desire? Well, hopefully they will address that. Or not, it is Lost Girl after all. I don't think Bo meant to hurt Tamsin, but she should have said something sooner. She could have spared her the heartbreak. I hope that this Alicia is for Dyson, he deserves a happy ending too. But how can he fall for her, if he can only love Bo?

    Urgghh! Brain Cramp!

  31. your right, she was named but I checked and it was Iris. She is indeed Hera's messenger and the godess of the rainbow. Making her the daughter of Zeus and Hera is way less complicated then introducing endless cousins of Zeus from who Iris is actually the offspring. Harpies are actually her sisters.

  32. All I can say is "Hell Yeah" finally got to see Bo & Lauren having a much needed conversation. They still have some things they need to talk about, but this was a good starting point. Would have to say probably my favorite episode of S5 so far, and not just because of Doccubus.
It was nice to see Evony again and finding out more about her past. The scene with her and Eros was kind of sad. It was nice seeing a more vulnerable side to her. As much as I hated TamBo, I really felt bad for Tamsin. Rachel did an amazing job in the scene where Bo tells her she loves her but just not in the way Tamsin does. I am really excited to see what's in store for Bo and the gang next week.

  33. You know I agree with you at some point. I loathe those stupid ship wars. It ruins every show and every serious discussion about a show. I really loved Tamsin this season and I loved her dynamic with Bo. I was really digging this . She was actually able to fill that Kenzi sized hole. And for a second I thought that this is what Tamsin actually tried to do. Being the new Kenzi in her life although everyone knows that hole can never be fully filled.
But no they have to take this good storyline that was really going somewhere and brought both characters along to a place where they can never go back from.

I don't know where Tamsin goes from here. Some major character assassination has happened this episode.

  34. Finally what both wanted .. !! I loved this episode .. !!

  35. This episode was excellent. That last scene was shattering...and well done. Will it drive Tamsin back to Freya?

    ReplyDelete
  36. How was this character assassination? The feelings that Tamsin has for Bo have been building for a long time now. From the scene in the bathtub to the Yule party, it was always very apparent. I feared that it was coming to this.

    ReplyDelete
  37. I'm not denying that there was some buildup. But I have a feeling that the writers weren't sure if they really wanna go THAT route. She has been with Dyson and it did look like they were into each other. Then they got a new showrunner and he decided to go that paticular way.
What I mean with character assassination is that I liked the Bo/Tamsin dynamic a was throughout this season. Having Tamsin now heartbroken will not serve her character. Of course we have to wait and see for this though.

  41. the only thing missing from this show is a hot shower sex scene with Bo and Lauren

    ReplyDelete
  42. It would be nice to at least get a good bathtub scene....we had to endure one with Bo & Dyson in S1, then somewhat of one with Bo & Tamsin in S3....we deserve one with Bo & Lauren now!
