  1. Go Cassandra! You know I was iffy on her for a good chunk of the start of the season but she has really grown the last few. Loved her defeating the negative spirit 'Katie' of the house. By the way Katie and her family was super creepy. Loved that the house went along with them in the end I think it will come back up when they face the big baddie at the end of this season (at least that is my hunch). Also liked getting to know more of her backstory and seeing her real emotion at her situation with the brain grape and how her life even pre tumour wasn't so perfect.

Even Jones seemed toned down these two episodes. He was less grinning and obnoxious as the last few episodes we have seen.

Loved Morgan Lefay and she is clearly going to be back or somehow invovled if it gets another season (fingers crossed). These two episodes really brought back a darker tone and you can tell the writers were prepping for the final storyline to come for the next two episodes. I love that we seem to be getting a big plot arc.

Sidenote: I wish we had more Stone background though I feel like he wasn't overly useful these two episodes. Baird and Cassie did so much this time while the guys just kind of assisted. He helped for sure but emotionally I feel we haven't gotten any of his story or motivation like we have some of the others. We got two episodes left throw the guy a bone and have him react big to something or throw a little back story in there.

  2. The first episode was quite good, but that second episode I absolutely LOVED!

Maybe I'm biased because I love haunted house stuff but "And the Heart of Darkness" was the best of the "case of the week" episodes. The girl was so creepy at the end and I liked the twist that the house spirit was actually made for good.

I liked getting more hints about Jenkins past in the first episode.

  3. Yep Jake's the only one left who needs more story, etc. Saving the day would be a start. Wish there were 13 episodes. With the final 2 episodes focusing on the main arch I don't think there's going to be much for Jake in those either. Hopefully next season then.

  4. Agreed 13 episodes would have been more ideal. Although looks like we might have a Stone freaking out moment in the trailer for the next episodes so maybe he is really forced into coming to terms with the job they actually do and the life they live now on.

  5. Good to see them going a little bit darker with more development for Jenkins and Cassandra, the show has been in need of this. I have a feeling Jenkins is Merlin?

  6. That second episode was scarier than most AHS episodes! And lol when Cssie said Holy s**t in the first ep, I just love her and Jake more and more after each episode. That end of the world thing was interesting, I wonder if that will be in this seasons finale or later on.

I'm also interested in seeing Cassie use magic, I thought she was going to use it on Morgan in the first ep but nope. I didn't mind ezekiel in these 2 eps either, I haven't liked him up to now. I can't believe next week is the season finale already :P If it does get renewed (which seems pretty certain with it's ratings) I really hope they give it a longer season.

  8. amazing episodes and more darker than usual, i can't believe Morgan La Fey is still alive AND young and just who IS Jenkins? God poor Cassandra, i was basically in tears when she was talking to creepy Katie, that girl was seriously creepy geez, the end of the world already that big for a first season LOL but very scary i wonder what's going to happen

  9. Alright people at TNT season 2 renewal of "The Librarians"................NOW! And while you're at it more episodes (15 - 18 would be a great start), "TNT people"! The Librarians' vehicles should also be called the "BookMobile - (number)".............just a suggestion (No Spoilers)! 4 THE LIBRARIANS BOOK CLUB, I am Nobody!!!

  10. Enjoyed both episodes. Liked Morgan La Fey and it was kind of cool and we got Jenkins' name! and I liked the resolution to the Heart of Darkness.

  12. I loved the movies and have liked the series so far - I'm been a fan of Lindy Booth, Rebecca Romijn & Christian Kane for years but can't stand the character of Ezekiel Jones (and don't know John Kim from anything else). I also miss Noah Wylie's character - he should definitely be in it more IMO.

  13. Watch the last episode (the episode that aired last sunday) there you will see Cassandra playing Prince Charming and within the end she gets to be Merlin.

  14. yeah but that's not actually Merlin i thought you meant actual Merlin the dude with the white beard and the immortality and blue cloak LOL but you meant Cassandra oh

  15. Yeah mean Cassandra as Merlin. The guy Merlin himself, i don't know if they will show him. But hey she was good as Merlin.

  16. yeah she was and it looks like she's playing someone else in the SEASON finale based on the promo

  17. Well i'm thinking she might play Merlin, but if she is playing someone else that would be interesting also.

  19. I am totally in love with this The Librarians. Its quirky, over the top, heartfelt, fantastical, borderline slapstick at times, and takes me back to a time when television was a family event. The last 3 week have been really good. The momentum is picking up and the cast is really clicking. This weeks scary ep was a enjoyable departure from the usual fantasy storyline.
So very sad knowing there is only 1 week left. That leaves me with just one thing to say... #TheLibrariansSeason2 .
