Choo Choo is going to be a great character to watch. Ty Walker looks like he will be a great villain and even though the stache is gone on Sam Elliott, he still seems like such a natural fit for Justified. This season is going to be great.
This episode was hilarious, I was laughing at most scenes. Choo Choo is brilliant seriously especially his moments with Tim (so good to see Tim getting screen time). Garret Dillahunt is one of the best additions the show has ever had, he is so creepy and yet really funny "Peacock??" and I can't wait to see more of him and Sam Elliott.
And so much great dialogue, the show always brings it. Oh and shit the Raylan and Boyd scene, dear god the season finale should just be them locked in a room for 42 minutes.
I don't know how it took so long to get Sam Elliot, Timothy Olyphant, Walton Goggins and Garret Dillahunt on this show together but they are GOLD. I could watch these four argue about golf all day. I could watch them recite poetry or read the dictionary to each other. This needs to lead to more projects with them. All of them. TV's version of Tombstone, Deadwood reborn, whatever. It just needs to happen. If there has ever been better scenes between two enemies/foes/friends/rivals than Boyd and Raylan, I haven't seen them.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteTim has more lines in these past two episodes than he did in the first three seasons!
ReplyDeleteSeriously...Raylan and Boyd get all the best dialogue...but Tim has great zingers, too(the random internet baby comment in htis one)

ReplyDeleteuntil he gets shot in the face by somebody...
I have a feeling a grenade is going to take him out.

Loved this episode. I am glad the final season has started off so well.
ReplyDeleteI love his character especially his zingers. Man, I am going to miss these characters. :(

ReplyDeleteI would watch it with riveted attention. Trying to see the through the nuance of Raylan's expressions and picking my way through Boyd's verbosity.
Seriously, if one show could pull that off for its series finale its Justified.
ReplyDeleteLove Sam Eliot. Think he's a great fit for the show.

I loved how convincing Eva is when talking to both Boyd and Raylan.
