It was great episode I do think Michael is overzealous in thinking Rafael is the drug dealer even though I do think Rafael is hiding something just don't think it's that ok didn't like Jane friends turning on her because Rafael have to fire staff and she wasn't going to get fire happy Alba going to be okay wonder if Xo going keep her promise to God
I think Rafael's dad is sin rostro. There were a few points when it seemed as if Rafael could be sin rostro, but then I remembered that in one of the earlier episodes a bellboy who was "suspicious" was killed and Rafael and rose found him, and when Rafael asked who killed him he told Rafael "sin rostro" as he died so it can't be Rafael, because the bellboy who was killed by sin rostro would have recognized him. Regarding the end of the episode, I think Michael is getting killed off eventually. It was pretty ominous, and he's really into the case, so maybe by the end of the season (or sometime next season) he will be put in a situation where he dies to save Jane's life (like, take a bullet for her or something). But that's just me coming up with dramatic situations to pass the time. No matter what, I definitely think it means he dies. I honestly doubt he and jane will end up together. And if he dies for her, it could be bittersweet for the people who like them together and it would please the people who like her with Rafael. But that's just my speculation, hehe.
I truly hope that Michael isn't going to be the next person who is killed. He is a good guy and I'm not entirely sure Michael isn't the right guy for Jane afterall. I just don't like the Narrator's ominous words at the end of this episode.
I caught up with the show over winter break and I absolutely adore it! It's nice to have something cute/charming to watch once in a while and this show is perfect for it.
Thank god Alba is okay and didn't suffer too much from the fall down the stairs. That scene where Jane and Xo were both comforting her in the hospital while she was unconscious broke my heart. Hopefully she somehow saw that it was Magda that pushed her and will tell her family. That woman who is faking being in a wheelchair needs to be put away for injuring Abuela!
Jane being stuck in an elevator with Michael was a little awkward considering they were once engaged but awww at him still caring about her and helping Alba stay in the United States! But what the hell at the end?! "And for as long as Michael lived, until he drew his very last breath, he never did". Hmmm, is this foreshadowing that he will die soon? That would be huge. I wonder if the writers have the guts to do that.
The theory floating around on the show that Rafael's dad could be Sin Rostro does make a lot of sense. Loads of people started dying once his father came along and taking out $5 million dollars and flying to Croatia? Yup, I'm definitely suspicious of him now.
I was laughing so hard when Xo and Rogelio were about to kiss and she stopped because she made a promise to God that she will live a chaste life and Alba started smiling XD
The show is teasing us with this Sin Rostro mystery. While Rafael seem to be the obvious choice (and could potentiallu change the dynamics of this love triangle for better or worse), Emilio seem sinister enough to be someone's syndicate leader.
And the guessing game continues next week. *Cue dramatic Thalia-performed telenovela theme song*
*FYI: I love empanadas, especially the chicken-filled ones with bits of raisins.
Me on Twitter: "I think might actually like Michael a little bit better than Rafael."
Narrator ten minutes later: "Foreshadowing Michael's death."
Me: "Oh, come on!"
Out of the recent TV couples I've had any interest in, two of them have ended up with dead people in them (from Doctor Who and Arrow); one ended with the other leg of the triangle dead in a surprisingly moving way, which puts a damper on them for a while (The 100); and now I have the slightest preference for Michael and he may be dead. I think I have to stop shipping. I'm shipping toxic. Everyone move away from me
That being said, there could be two other explanations. One, Michael becomes Jane's stalker, which is not better at all. Two, he dies temporarily sometime in the near future, like drowning but being revived by CPR or something, making this a really mean fake-out. Three, they get back together, get married, and live happily ever after. Please, please let it be that last one. I may not fully batting for Team Michael, but if it's that or Dead!Michael, I know which I pick.
I feel like Rafael's dad is a red herring, or they wouldn't have figured it out by now. I think he's probably working for Sin Rostro, but isn't Sin Rostro. I have no real reason to think that other than I watch a lot of TV and it doesn't feel like it's him, but there you go. And the best part of this episode is Alba being okay because she's awesome and I love her. :D
The thought the Narrator's comment about Michael loving Jane until the day he dies may be a misdirect in that Michael and Jane reconcile and marry. Then after living a full and happy life together complete with children and grandchildren, Michael dies. I think I may be overly optimistic though.
I hope you are right. I love Michael and I would hate to see him killed off. I love that he knows so well the meaning that particular things/events or people hold for Jane and because of it they are meaningful for him too. It was portrayed consistently. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed quite a few Jane-Raf moments, but... mostly for Jane. Their romance is fun enough, but Rafael himself - not so much, at least not for me. . What I would like too se is Rafael turning out to actually be a bad/shady guy, while he's still baby's father and in love with Jane.
I really think Sin Rostro is Petra's crippled mom. She's just pretending to be crippled.
Remember they mentioned in a scene one that there's a villain in Passions of Santos who wears an eyepatch even though she's not really blind? Then the next scene opens with Petra's mom. It was serious but subtle hint from the writers.
And when you start looking back. It all makes sense. Even with the death of Zaz.
I reallty hope Michael finds someone, he is a really sweet guy. But that thing the narrator said at the end got me scared D: is he going to die? I really liked the episode. I missed the narrator so much and the little stuff that pops up are always great
That last line confirmed Michael will be the one who will be end up dying, most probably during a shoot-out situation with sin rostro in the finale.Poor guy,i liked him a lot.As much as i hate to say it,he never had any chance with jane to begin with in a network like CW where the girl always ends up with the hotter, muscular & better looking guy!
