That's good to know I was planning on watching it tonight but I need to watch the fall finale first before I never caught the cliffhanger that reveals the murderer.
I have a feeling that this won't be the last time we see someone from the Keating 5 get paranoid and want to confess to the police about what happened to Sam. Any one of these kids have the potential to really screw it up for themselves because they all helped move Sam's body but for now, I'm just glad that Annalise used her powers of persuasion and convinced Connor and Michaela to stop and continue on their lives of lying. Looks like they will get away with murder after all!
Annalise telling Frank the truth about what happened on the night of Sam's murder and not telling Bonnie was a good idea considering I still don't trust her. Let's just hope that she doesn't find out and will want to go to the police after what Annalise did to her.
Loved that scene where Annalise goes into the bathroom after hearing that Rebecca's charges have been dropped and hears the two women start talking about how heartless she is and she just gave them some nasty side eye and walked away. Such a badass.
Uh oh, looks like Sam's sister is in town to cause hell on the Keating 5 and Annalise. Next week should be another intense episode!
Whodunit plots don't intrigue me much. It's the roller-coaster ride, serialized element, production, and acting that really pulls me into this show (and I can't get enough of Viola Davis)
Excellent return of Viola Davis and the Keating 5..............it took long enough, but the wait was worth it! The next part of this season is who will tie - up the "loose ends" aka "The Keating 5". Let's not forget fellow posters/viewers this series is called "How to get away with Murder" not "How to get away with a Conspiracy". 4 THE KEATING 5 20 YEAR CLASS REUNION, I am Nobody!!!
Ok: 1) Annalise killed Lila and framed her husband, I'm certain of it. 2) The ring is going to bite someone in the ass. 3) Marcia Gay Harden v. Viola Davis. The acting showdown of the season.
Viola Davis is giving me lifeee!! And I mean it. Gosh, she's so talented. And those last 6 minutes starting with the scene in front of the precinct were just pure perfection. Plus, looks like my guess about MGH's charcter was wrong after all! I am pleasantly surprised.
Such a great midseason premiere. Laurel is now my favorite character. She is the smartest in the group. When she agreed to confess with Connor and Michaela I was really disappointed in her, but then when I was happy when she told to Annalise. Also nice touch about her lying that Sam was interested in her. I am really interested to see who Hannah is. Is she a lawyer, too?
Outstanding, after the long hiatus what away to return!! Laurel is awesome I didn't think for one second she was going to confess, she's so much more clever than that, I'm hoping Conner is getting himself back together unraveling doesn't look good on such a master manipulator such as himself, and the upcoming episode with Marcia Gay & Ms Keaton is about to be on both. .excellent actors I can't wait for the showdown, my money is on Annalise tho:)!!!
I wasn't too impressed with the episode. - There was some fancy editing during the interrogation but at this point, the flashes just feel disruptive. I've seen Sam's smashed head too many times already. - The bathroom scene is another example what a complex character Annalise is and how you can never really know what this woman is up to. - Slow-motion walk out of the courtroom, never gets old. - Lauren and Wes are besties. I loved how Lauren went to Wes and told him everything. - Wes and Annelise still creeps me out. She seems protective of him but doesn't know how to properly convey it. - Connor didn't get to shag anybody. Maybe he'll have better luck next time.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Pure. Fucking. Epicness.
ReplyDeleteThat's all, folks.
It was a good episode, but I will say a lot of the intrigue of the series is gone, now that we know who killed Sam.

ReplyDeleteSuch an awesome return!

The question now is who will break first. Wyth the sister going for them

ReplyDeleteI don't like that I spend the whole episode screaming in my head his body, his body, they are going to find his body you stupid f...s
ReplyDeleteI like that Annalise is equally handsy with other people that it's not just with Wes.

ReplyDeleteAnnalise could have killed Lila when she found out that her husband has been cheating on her.

Great returning episode, love how badass and powerful Annalise can be when she needs to get something done.

ReplyDeleteYea, Thanks for correcting me, I don't know what possessed me to write Keaton:)
ReplyDeleteYou mean Ms Keating...
ReplyDeleteIt was good but not so intense
ReplyDeleteHmm.I wonder if 'Birdman' has something to do with it. ;)
ReplyDeleteLol, you could be right I had to smile after that one, where did Keaton come from maybe even Beetlejuice:)
ReplyDeleteTotally agree. Michaela should report it stolen, so when it eventually shows up, she can talk herself out of it.
