Is Penguin in love with Jim? Because that's the vibe I'm getting. And damn it, I ship Fish/Harvey now.
Poor baby Bruce and Selina. Alfred really sucks as a caregiver and I wish Bruce had better options but that's never going to happen because he's doomed by canon and ugh.
Fish Mooney is alive and free..............fingers - crossed for Butch! I really like Victor Zsasz (Anthony Carrigan is great) and his "Matrix Fashioned Murderess"! Robin Lord Taylor and Jada Pinkett - Smith really owned this episode (No Spoilers). 4 THE DARKEST KNIGHT IN GOTHAM, I am Nobody!!!
Well, they can go off book with that one like Nolan did by having Bruce and Selina end up together. Because of how many different versions there are of Bruce's story in comics and movies, there really is no fixed canon. They're already changing things.
Well they did in the comics. Then Earth One was erased from existence. And then they did after Hush then the New 52 happened. But their relationship is one I hope stays intact. She's so much better than Talia.
"Is Penguin in love with Jim? Because that's the vibe I'm getting."
This is not the first time I heard that. But honestly I don't really see it. I think Jim is just the only one he can interact with on the same level. Falcone, Maroni and Fish are scaring him to death. They could really hurt him if they wanted to. I just think that he doesn't feel threatened by Jim so his interactions with him feel different.
This episode proofs again why the show is so much better when it focuses on the main plot and not some stupid case of the week stuff. The second half was brilliant while the first half left me rather disappointed.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

A little slow tonight.... but's that okay at least there's character development.
ReplyDeleteGordon showing why he will be the commissioner......he won't let the corrupt win no matter what the cost is
ReplyDeleteBut to stop a group of cops working with criminals, he in turn had to work with criminals. It's not so cut and dry.
ReplyDeletegreat ep that was a bit on the slowish side tonight, but really enjoyed the performance of Jada as Fish tonight
ReplyDeleteIt more sucks that he'll spend the rest of his life as a emotionally crippled, angry loner who loses his son and his adopted son .

ReplyDeleteIt was good/ok
ReplyDeleteExactly. I hope for season 2 they completely drop the case of the week stuff. Unlikely, though.
