  1. Just perfect episode for me, best so far. I really enjoyed it. I liked how they pulled part of Holmes story when he tortured that guy in season 1, i think. Maybe the best scene, for me, was last one when Holmes cried and Kitty came to start learning. I admit, when Kitty appeared first time in this season, i didn't like her character but now i'm sorry she left. She was some type of connection between Holmes and Watson. I'm really looking forward for to see the review here.

  2. i didn't want her to leave though, but i'm glad she burned that son of a bitch's face off, i would've loved to see his face burn and hear him scream and i loved her last conversation with Sherlock

  4. BEST EPISODE OF THE SERIES RIGHT NOW!!!!!!, i cannot explain how much i loved it, i wanted to punch through the screen at that bastard so many times, i loved seeing Sherlock and Kitty's origin, she really did save him, if i were in Kitty's place i don't think i would've let him live, i know it's horrible to say that but i just couldn't see myself letting someone who hurt women or anyone like that live, Jonny Lee Miller and Ophelia Lovibond gave outstanding performances and each deserve an Emmy, i loved that Kitty didn't kill him it's not who she is and i completely loved that she told Sherlock that she loves him and i almost cried when she was saying goodbye, i don't want her to leave i wanted her to become a regular next season and so on, overall best episode of Elementary i can't get over this, it was just plain amazing!!!

  5. Good send off for Kitty. She got her revenge, and she appears to have helped Sherlock make a major step in his recovery.

    More Clyde next time, please.

  6. Well, it was a good hour but it all seemed a little strange somehow. Kitty-like Sherlock- came across as someone who would never be really well and who would always be a bit off. I would wonder how someone with Joan's moral compass would feel about Kitty's revenge and Joan knows Sherlock could have stopped it. I understand his choice, though do not condone it , to leave the monster's fate up to Kitty and not intervene. I did have a question, though, because I must have missed something- just as Sherlock and Joan were discussing the case we saw a computer screen with audio of their conversation and then the villain made his call firing Joan --- my assumption at that point was that their place had been bugged by him but that was not addressed afterwards. Did I misinterpret what had happened ?

  7. As a rape survivor I think it was well played out. Kitty did what every victim wishes they could do. Knew she wasn't gonna be on forever but sad to see her go.

  8. This episode reflects the plot of Sir Conan Doyle's story, "The Illustrious Client". In that story, Kitty Winters is the former mistress of Adelbert Gruner, a wealthy, sadistic Austrian baron. At the end of that story, Kitty throws "vitrol" in Gruner's face, scarring him for life.

  9. I think Watson's phone was but she clearly understood he gave her bugged phone after his call.

  10. Del was listening in on the conversation via the company-supplied phone he had given Joan.

  11. Thanks, I had missed that he had given her the phone - I assume in the last episode.

  12. Thank you for responding - I completely missed the part where he gave her the phone. I think I'll rewatch parts 1&2 again because the two parter incorporated a lot of what has been going on all season and filled in missing pieces. Thanks again

  13. Thanks for explaining what I missed.

  14. oh wow so it's from the canon that's awesome, was she hurt there too?

  15. Feel it is a shame that now Kitty , after all she previously had gone through, will be a wanted felon on the run for kidnapping and wounding as soon as Del identifies her as his attacker. Then again , he is not dead so maybe he won't identify her , saving his own nasty intentions for her and will reappear in a later episode. Horrible thought ,that. At any rate , the bond between her and Sherlock was well done . The plot was semi drawn from the original Conan Doyle story but revised to fit Elementary's take on Sherlock as they have cleverly done with many of the stories .

  17. Outstanding ep that had some really great performances tonight, notably JLM and OL.... some truly impressive work and sad that this is possibly farewell to Kitty for now, and sad that she had become an integral cog in the investigative machine.... but allowed her some closure and allowed her to somewhat stay true to herself...

  18. I kind of liked the Kitty character I thought she was a nice addition to the cast. Oh well, maybe they will bring her back at some future date.

  19. At first i was disappointed with this new Kitty character, now i will truly miss her. I hope i see her again.
    By the way awesome episode.

  20. Definitely the best episode of the series to this point. And with all the TV I watch the arc that occurred over the first half of the season is some of the best TV I have ever seen.

  21. I was a little underwhelmed with the ep. I guess I was expecting something explosive. But this was 'quiet' though still powerful.

OL rocked it. So did JLM. I always wondered what happened with the drugs he kept and glad to see it back in a surprising way. Kitty really did save his life.

But I'm upset Kitty left. I loved her character. :( And I'm even more upset that Joan and Kitty didn't have a goodbye scene. Poor Joan. When she asked Sherlock to tell her that Kitty was alright, it broke my heart.

Hope to see some ramification of Kitty leaving in the next ep - especially with Sherlock.

  22. I hate having to say goodbye to a character that i didn't care for in the beginning but have come to love. I will surely miss our Kitty who added so much to the show and to Sherlock.

So glad Kitty got her revenge but didn't kill him. Now this POS will have to suffer for the rest of his life having to live with his burns and knowing that Kitty once again got away!

  23. If you think about it we really don't know for a fact if it was actually Kitty that burned him,we didn't see her doing it.. It could of been Sherlock,he was with her...

  24. Excellent conclusion to the two-parter. What a way for Kitty to go out. But I'm sad to see her go. She was a fantastic addition to the show. I hope she comes back one day.

  25. My first reply did not seem to go through so you may get a duplicate later, as sometimes happens-sorry. Anyway, Kitty walked towards him and said that she had taken off her mask and now she was going to take off his so I was certain she was going to do something to his face as soon as she said that. And she had practiced with the corrosive on the piece of meat.

  26. i don't get everyone's delight. i am really disappointed with this episode. Sherlock's and Kitty's joint scenes and dialogues were so primitive and boring. and i was just revolted by those "you will always be special to me" and "i love you" scenes. just ugh.

  27. I was expecting something entirely different as well. But once I adjusted to as you said " quiet but powerful" I was onboard. Did enjoy that scene between Townsend and Lucy L. when he grabbed her arm and she basically told him he was picking on a woman who could fight back. Loved the way she did not waver. And looked dang gorgeous in evening attire at the same time.

  28. Gutted Kitty has left, I really like the dynamic between her, Sherlock and Joan, it was great seeing that trio develop this season.

  29. I just got this. Its only 9 hrs later,ha! Ya,Kitty was definetly itching to hurt him but since Sherlock was there i was wondering if he intervened on her behalf.I think Sherlock wanted her to have 'clean hands if you will' so she wouldn't get arrested,or wanted for his injures or death.

Watching her pour that liquid onto the meat was chilling in itself, then to think it was poured onto his face....YIKES! Lol!

  30. Sorry about the relay delay--- I understand what you mean about Sherlock wanting to spare Kitty but we did see Sherlock walk out the door. Maybe you are right or maybe he thought letting her make the choice would free her. At any rate, it will be interesting to see if the villain identifies his attacker in a later episode. Meanwhile poor Kitty is basically a fugitive, living on what I do not know.

  31. That was a beaytiful episode. Funny thing is I didn't care for Kitty at the beginning but then I started to love her a lot. The scenes when Sherlock told her that she will always be his friend, that phone call when she said goodbye to him and told him that she loved him and the last scene when she told him she wanted him to teach her broke my heart and made me cry. I'm really going to miss her and I'm worried about Sherlock being alone again.
