I liked the case, though I feel it wrapped up rather abruptly. But it was an interesting concept, especially when the guy just crossed over into not even trying to save a couple of the people he killed. But yeah, Rossi's story was definitely the best part of the episode. Very moving-that ending brought tears to my eyes. The fact that Mantegna's genuine emotion came through so strongly just made it that much more touching. A very sweet tribute to his friend, for sure.
As the daughter of an organ daughter, I am well aware of what has to happen in order for someone on a transplant list to receive their "gift of life." Real people die everyday waiting for the call to come that their "gift of life" has become available. I love Criminal Minds; however, having an unsub target potential organ donors was a storyline I found very offensive. I know CM is a tv show. I hope & pray this episode did not do irreparable harm to organ donation efforts. It would have been great if the actors had addressed the importance of organ donation at the end of the episode. Kudos to Kiristen Vangsness (Penelope) for live tweeting her support of organ donation. Now, CB
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
It was a good episode I like that Rossi is a dad and him having get use to being called dad
