Good episode. Very disappointed with Ellie Miller. She needed to be firm with Beth Latimer in that moment and not flounder as a hurt puppy. Lee Ashworth getting away with Claire is her fault.
I loved Broadchurch 1 and feel a bit disappointed the way it is going. There are too many illogical things happening. Most of all Beth's irrational behaviour. Okay, she is pregnant and hormonal, but while I really felt for her in season 1 I think she is totally over the top now. Miller used to be her friend. Does she not at least give her some kind of understanding? Surely she must know Ellie is mortified by the whole affair? And the extra plot with Claire - sigh. Not sure about that, either. All in all I feel a little bit let down at the moment, but I'll still watch to see what happens. .
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I'm waiting on BBC America to air Broadchurch on March 4th.
