  1. This show is so watchable that an hour of television felt like 10 minutes - I wanted more. Loving the new fact we've got focus on some new characters (and that Nola is back). I like Rebecca as a psycho bitch. Best line of the show goes to Job again - Sugar "We'll do it the old fashioned way" Job "Like you've got any other f**king way"

  2. I also hope we see that former neo-Nazi deputy again. He looks like her could be a really interesting character. More of him and less of Gordon Hopewell.

  3. Awesome, thanks for confirming it. Now I'm going to show my weakness...I hope Siobhan gets with him instead. This thing she has with Hood can't last and she needs to settle down with a better prospect (that's saying something of a former neo-Nazi!!). And yes to any haters out there I know this isn't a shipper's show but I'm just wanting to end the inevitability of the Hood/Siobhan terrible partnership.

  4. Why is Hood and Siobhan a terrible partnership? Once she finds out the truth, which is in the next episode, they would be great together. They are both damaged and fucked up.

  5. I think they're a terrible partnership because Hood's heart isn't in it. Siobhan is second best for him. Siobhan was a better person before she met Hood. I'm not saying she wasn't already damaged but now she's a criminal and I can't help but think Hood is a bad influence on her compared to the woman she'd be with a more honest man.

  6. I think his heart is in it. Remember when he showed up outside her trailer at the end of season 2 looking all sad and then they hug. It was nice, and he can't be with Carrie any more that ship has sailed.

  7. Point is though, if he could be with Carrie, he would. That is his true love. Siobhan is a convenient second. I do think he cares for Siobhan but not in the same way she cares for him or that he cares for Carrie imo.

  8. I don't think he would be with Carrie now. She was his first love so she will always be a bit under his skin, but after so much time and so much happening, they are not going to jump back into a relationship. And Siobhan has her own past with her ex-husband. Its a second act for both of them. He needs it, he's always looking so sad and beaten up, he spent fifteen years in prison while his daughter was being raised by another man, he needs a little happiness in his life before he slits his wrists.

  9. On that we agree....he definitely needs some love and happiness. I just don't think that is with Siobhan, she's a bit safe and boring for him. Maybe he needs someone "safer" but I just don't sense any spark or chemistry there from him. She's into it big time though. I think he'd be better off with the reservation cop; at least she has some spunk.

  10. Oh another great line was from Hood "Do I look like a man that knows what's good for me?" ha

  11. Another fantastic episode!

  12. Carrie and Nola are awesome together. And I hope for more scenes with Deva and Hood.

  13. A good solid one this week, not as action packed as the opener perhaps but still very enjoyable. I'm loving Rebecca's story as she learns more, and makes mistakes, in the business. She'll never be completely 'tamed' and has a temper on her that will be hard to control I think. What that will mean if Kai is distracted while his mother is ill is anyone's guess.

Poor Deva, she's being passed from pillar to post between her 'fathers' at the moment. Last week Lucas said he would always be there for her, now he's taken a step backwards and it's confused her. All three of her parents need to sort out their priorities there, perhaps Gordon is making inroads there though from now on?

Really liked the Colonel, he's shaping up to be a bit of a nutter. I'd like to see the heist being pulled off this season and then him after the gang next year maybe, that could be interesting. He looks like he'd be one to hold a grudge and not let it go.

  14. I liked the Carrie/Nola scene too. Both lost someone close to them last season that they didn't necessarily agree with most of the time.

  15. Ha, I am loving the Job/Sugar snipping this season, and it only gets better XD

  16. Another awesome episode.

They changed the credits. I am conflicted. I loved the old credits. The new ones are quite good but I still need a bit of time to accept them.

Rebecca - Chick is going even deeper to the dark side. I let out an audible yell when she shot that douchey son. Totally unexpected and awesome. Sh brings a bit of spontaneity to Proctor's operations. Now, we (and Proctor) can never tell what she's about to do That being said, she has a lot to learn. Loved it when she fought back against the men Chayton had sent.

Two new characters (KPD Deputy and ex-skinhead turned cop) were introduced. Does anyone know if they are they the new series regulars? Liked both of them. Also, Raven grew a bit on me. Hope his character continues to develop.

So, Brock's ex wife is now nurse to Proctor's mother. Things just got more complicated for Brock.

Absolutely loved the Carrie and Nola girl bonding - over ass kicking, guns and pie.

Who was it at the very end? Another new character to be made known next week? Or someone we already know. Guys who have seen the next one, any hints?

  17. The Colonel looks to have anger issues and maybe PTSD. He is a coiled cannon waiting to go off. I was afraid for Carrie when she was breaking up with him. But surprisingly, he took it well. He definitely took out a bit of his anger on the young Marine caught stealing.

  18. Don't care for ships on this show but I feel that Siobhan is way too good for Lucas. Even though she has done some questionable things, she is still deserving of someone better. Lucas may have started caring for her (as evidenced by the end of S2) but he isn't changing for the better at all - in this way he is toxic for her.

  19. Yes, he definitely passed that anger on didn't he. I didn't think he was gonna stop stomping on that marine to begin with. I think you could be right with the PTSD, he's could be compartmentalising it rather than dealing with it, making it worse too.

  20. It's someone new at the door. Be thankful that you only have to wait a week to find out who it is, we had to wait a month between screeners to see who it was. That was frustrating, lol.

  21. HeHe.

I just read the synopsis for 3x03 again and I can guess who that person is. That synopsis also says: "Nola mixes it up with Burton at Procter's mansion" - to me, that's an understatement of epic proportions. I read somewhere before S3 started (maybe Sepinwall said it) that there was a mind blowing fight scene in the initial episodes. Could it be between Burton and Nola? I hope so. I sincerely hope so.

  22. Ha yes, that's how we worked it out XD

    It is an epic fight!

  23. YES!!!!!! Two fan favorites and cool as ice characters going at each other - I am already drooling in anticipation.

  24. Awesome episode. Though the new credits might take some getting used too. Too quick and flashy, I loved the slow, methodic style of old one (much like a safecracker)

Rebecca way always a rebel, but oh my she's going dark now. And that scene of Carrie and Nola bonding over guns, scotch, pie and their father's sins was the epitome of cool.

Poor Deva. i definatly want to see more Hood/Deva bonding, maybe if Gordon bites the big one...

That ex-neo Nazi deputy prospect seem like an interesting character,

And what a way to end an episode!

  25. Just got caught up with the first two episodes. Man, this show is awesome, love every character and every scene (well, maybe except GordoN).

I have never been a big fan of Carrie, but I´m liking her a lot more this season. Seems like she might team up with Nola, which would be a perfect match.

Kai and Rebecca = disturbing. Soooo creepy and yet they are both so interesting. I love how Kai´s mother moved in as a big contrast to the 3 killing maschines already lliving in the house.

So good to get a bigger understanding of Brocks character. I always liked him and would love to know more.

Deva/hood scenes have always been amongst my favorites. I hope we get a lot more (eventhough I am also happy that they are not rushing the big bond between them).
