First of all finally a good Deva and Lucas moment! And her casing her target before this hit was nice. Like how her mom pretty much knew what she was up to at the end but didn't care much.
Like how Job gave Sugar a that hair in his fake ID. Lol good side duo. Thank god Carrie just wanted to go a little wild there this episode.
The Kai vs Chayton war is getting crazy. Rebecca is in full on dark mode atm, it was cool but damn.
And the fight with Kai and Lucas wasn't clean like yesterday, but that dirty fighting fit well with them two who both kinda saw them selves on the other side of the law rivals, who both self-train. And because of that I like how the fight was equally brutal and rough.
The end was great! Its a pretty good set up for next episode. I wonder if it will be mainly set at the Cadi next episode. Allowing the for more character development. There is Kurt Bunker, a former skinhead who came in just before. The Chaos will probably allow him to show his changed side and goodness. He is really proper so I like him. And for Lucas too, now that Kelly said Lucas need to resign, I wonder if Lucas can turn it around if he can get them out of this jam. Either by the teams need for him or something else.
At least someone is trying to be a parent to Deva huh! She needs some sort of guidance in her life and she hasn't been getting it from anyone for a while now, poor kid. No wonder she's doing so badly at school.
I do love Job and Sugar when they go on missions together :))
Kurt Bunker is an interesting character, I kinda like him. You'll get to know more about him next week, like you suspect, it's pretty much a character driven episode. A damn good one too!
Just finished watching the episode. Awesome, and as always entertaining. S3 is on steroids. Slight disappointment : Like a fool, I watched the promo for next week's episode before seeing this one so I was already a bit spoiled about the ending scene.
Favorite scene: Rebecca and Burton's 'mission' - if we can call it that. Rebecca is growing darker with each passing episode and I love it. Burton's look of absolute glee as they sped headlong towards the truck was creepy and awesome.
Most WTF moment: After reading the advance preview, I thought Hood would go to arrest Procter (now that Gordon and Alison were prosecuting him), Procter would resist and Hood would beat him up. Didn't realize that he would straight up try to kill Procter because he was so bent out of shape about Siobhan and had to take out his anger on someone. He shot at him!!! Freaking prick!!! Good thing Procter is quick. Now, I am pretty sure that Hood has ruined the case against Procter that Gordon and Alison were building against him.
Speaking of Procter, poor fellow can't catch a break - his mother is dying and he is in lockup next to Indian prisoners and the station is being strafed by automatic gunfire by Chayton and company. Talk about being in hot water would be an understatement of epic proportions.
Job and Sugar working together was nice.
Ivana Milicevic riding that bike - Hot. Smoking hot.
Never was a huge fan of Hood and Siobhan's romance - so I am mostly lukewarm towards their current drama.
She needs some sort of guidance in her life and she hasn't been getting it from anyone for a while now, poor kid. No wonder she's doing so badly at school.
More than Hood, I feel that Carrie and Gordon need to get their heads out of their respective asses and join forces to see to their daughter before it's too late. The one, rare normal/innocent/pure thing about Banshee (where there is a whole lot of crime, perversion and violence) was Gordon and Carrie's family. Now even that is all broken up and torn apart. I sincerely hope Gordon and Callie work together to patch it up in some form or the other. Gordon is taking baby steps. He is slowly on his way back up after hitting rock bottom. OTOH, Carrie needs to stop being an adrenaline junkie and step up as a mom for her kids.
Just realized that I typed up a whole para about Gordon and Carrie. I am in the minority in the fandom. I like Gordon. ;) :)
Procter catching a break? Don't you mean the police station, they just were renovating few episodes back from the season finale lol. Seriously they should just rename it Banshee Shooting Range! haha.
Nothing Wrong with Gordon, but it was he who wasn't able to handle all the truth and didn't do much to keep his family together when each Time Carrie Came back.
Carrie has a wild soul from her days in the past, feels like that was always there, but she still went back to her home until she wasn't welcomed.
I don't mind if they work it out.
But I still want to see more Deva and Lucas scenes. And way more Lucas badassary with his underworld team.
It would be fun to see Rebecca jealous! Now I´m almost hoping for a little romance between Kai and Emily, just so Rebecca can get worled up. Like you I´m loving her darker side.
So glad we didn´t loose Kai. I loved the fight, it seemed so much more real than last weeks epic battle between Nola and Burton.
My favorite scene was Hood and Deva. Love those two! My second favorite was the fight between Hood and Proctor. I think I actually liked it better than last weeks fight, because it seemed more realistic (also they are my two favorite characters).
Job and Sugar are so much fun!! I hope Job doesn´t leave now that Hood will not make it back.
Burton and Rebecca is the coolest team ever. Rebecca´s driving skills weren´t too bad!
I´m glad Gordon is better. Hopefully he will get a better storyline now.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

Look forward to next week.
Amazing episode and now I can't wait for the next one!
ReplyDeleteOne of the most emotionally intense episodes I can remember. Antony and TKD just were phenomenal.
ReplyDelete"awesome" does not even get close to how much this show rocks ... more like "f***ing epic"
ReplyDeleteand that also is an understatement

Nice, I like Character driven episodes much!
ReplyDeleteAny deaths from season one characters?

Brock's ex wife is weird to me. Seems like she is trying to sleep with her client.
