I loved it. I loved the mixing up of characters and the re-introduction of the animals. Jaha/Murphy, Kane/Octavia, Octavia/Indra,Lincoln/Bellamy all had amazing scenes. Not to mention Lexa and Clarke. These two don't know how to fail.
Another amazing episode what with that gorilla omg about Lincoln and Bellamy I like how we had different characters interaction even though I didn't like Jaha going own his own I do think he right and wrong because I do think their people and grounders could live in peace but their always going to be that person who going mess up the balance
The gorilla was so awesome!! I really love the different pairings we got in this episode. Especially Lexa/Clarke and Octavia/Indra. I feel so bad for Lincoln!!
People were saying Bellamy's had it easy this season(he has) but now he's going to go through hell.
Octavia trying to prove to Indra that she can train just like all the other Grounders was awesome. And holy shit, that fight scene with her and the other Grounder was intense and bloody as hell. Loved that she wasn't going to give up whatsoever and was going to try her hardest to win the fight. And yay to her being Indra's second in command! This should be interesting going forward.
Lexa and Clarke teaming up to try and escape the gorilla was awesome. Loved that they helped one another :) And it was nice hearing Lexa tell Clarke that her heart shows no signs of weakness. Looks like this alignment between them is going along smoothly.
Jaha and Murphy bonding was really weird at first since you don't see Murphy actually try to have a heart to heart conversation with someone but in the end, it was actually nice. I'm glad that he told Jaha how Wells died. And it looks like we are going to try to find the City of Light! Hopefully this will be the place where the Sky people can call home. Let's just hope it's not a trick and/or no one dies on the way there. I'm already starting to get worried.
Awww at Bellamy telling Lincoln that he's good for Octavia :) He's such a caring brother. And oh shit at the end! This is going to really hurt for both Bellamy and Lincoln. Here's hoping that the Grounders and the Sky people quickly come and get them out of Mt. Weather!
Forget Belarke, more like Lexarke! The leaders hang out seem to be a bit lets get to know each other a bit more. And get some Aha moments.
haha that Bitch Guard Lady got killed. So glad about that, if good people can die, the so should the bitchy ones. Sad but shit I don't care for her.
Man either Jaha became stupid after being captured by the grounders or the writers just wanted him to be a leader of something again, so they made him careless about an alliance so he can lead his own group of people the the city of lights or whatever. Is that LA again? like in Defiance.
And I never thought I'd say this but hey Murphy is becoming an alright character. I actually was on his side when he was being accused for Wells Murder way back then. But got mad at him for getting back his people and Raven.
The Hosting/training Party was a full of distrust. BTW where the hell is Abby? she wasn't at Grounder camp or her camp? Sky people & Ground people need to figure something out for the long run. Right now both sides got problems.
Octavia being an 2nd don't sound too bad as long as see gets strong. In the mean while her man is addicted to drugs, man I hate drug addiction plot line in TV shows the most.
oh no! whats gonna happen to Bellamy, they gonna get him to? pst.. he will prally do somethin somethin and get out of that Trap MT.
Such an awesome episode. I am glad that no one was filming me during the scene in which Byrne appeared in the woods...I was like holy shit. Where was Abby? I missed her in "Camp you". I had to laugh when Murphy said it. It is one of the few shows in which all episodes are so action packed that you never get bored! I can't tell you often enough how great the show is!
I wasn't expecting Lincoln to let himself get shot up. UGH.
Ancient Zoo? I wonder if there are lions and tigers running around, too.
I like Lexa and Clarke together. Good scenes.
Will Jaha's dream of the City of Lights being a safe haven come true? I have no doubt it exists. Some city people must have survived. But we don't know if they are friendly. I guess it will make an interesting side story for awhile. Jaha and Murphy's adventures.
All around, it was a very good ep. Can't wait for next week.
This episode just about reminded me that Camp Jaha's immediate vicinty is whatb used to be DC. I wonder if it's Clarke managed to find himself to where the National Zoo used to be.
For anyone following TV development news, the dude who was trying to kill Clarke but ended up getting smashed by Gorilla Grodd is going to be seen next on Syfy's new show Olympus this April. Just so in case someone watching it by then might spot someone familiar (like the way I recognized Calvin Valentine here in The 100). :D
It's the only thing I hate about CBS owning the CW, In ACC country, the CW will preempt in a minute for ACC basketball. If you have basic cable, you're screwed. If you have expanded cable or satellite, you're good. Those last two carry more than one CW channel and the games are usually only on the local.
Just when people started talking about how we should see more of Earth's fauna, BOOM! Mutant gorilla. Awesome episode, packed with action and great themes exploration about tough choices. Seriously, The 100 just doesn't let me down!
Excellent! Loved the introduction of the Gorilla which totally blew me away. everything was perfect episode. it is going to be one hell of a finale in march!
I think Zoic Studios normally does a great job for The 100 but that gorilla was no Caesar. (Planet of the Apes) It would have been better had they gone with an animal natural to North America. Grizzly, bob cats, coyote, wolf. Wolf would have been my preference. They are outside at all times. I'd like them to use that. Nature, animals, weather.
To be honest, this episode was a bit too much. A bit too much of everything. Don't get me wrong, I love this show, I do, but this time they worked on so many plotlines I had a hard time to follow them all. But that's just me. :)
Except the CGI the mutant gorilla revealed as "the monster" was great. Now we know they landed near an ancient zoo I'm sure there will be other creatures they have to deal with besides gorillas and black panthers. Btw, what happend to this anaconda-like creature from the pilot episode?
So, love is still weakness and Clarke saved Lexa only because she may need her in the future. I know a character has to grow but I don't have to like how, right?
I have a feeling that Kane WILL regret that he released Jaha...
Speaking of Jaha... who the hell does he think he is? The next Messiah? The next Moses to lead his people to the Promised Land called City of Light? Once there everything will be ok? Love, peace and harmony? It's great to have a vision, but it's sad that in most cases it's not a realistic one... What's he up to anyway?
I just started to like Murphy (again)... :( Let's see how it plays out. Maybe it's not that bad to have one of the kids going with Jaha...
Kane/Octavia/Indra, an interesting triangle. It's great that O will get more training, but her being Kane's spy? They don't trust each other, Grounders and Sky People. Respect? I'm not sure, but definitely no trust. Not a good start for them if they want to break into MW sometime soon.
Lincoln and Bellamy... these two this time had the scenes I liked the most. Bellamy finally trusts Lincoln, no matter what. Their last scene was so intense! No words, but their eyes spoke volumes. "Don't do this. Don't.Do.This! Octavia and the others will need you once I'm in there and maybe won't come back!" "I have to! Otherwise you won't get in. Good luck! I trust you. I have faith in you! And you will come back!"
Speaking of trust... I'm glad Clarke trusts Bellamy as she told the Grounders and especially Lexa. But will HE trust HER ever again since she sent him through hell and back without blinking an eye?
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
What the hell at the gorilla. And noooooooooooooooo, Lincoln (and Bellamy).
ReplyDeleteGreat episode!
I loved it. I loved the mixing up of characters and the re-introduction of the animals.

Fucking Epic!
ReplyDeleteIt sucks that the CW aired basketball instead of The 100 in some places. That will messs up the ratings.

Noooo, are you serious?! This freaking sucks. I want The 100 to gain more viewers not lose them! :(
ReplyDeleteI'm serious. People were complaining on twitter and Jason Rothenberg tweeted about it too.
ReplyDeleteDamn, that was fantastic!
ReplyDeleteOctavia trying to prove to Indra that she can train just like all the other Grounders was awesome. ReplyDeleteAwesome... all the scenes were epic! Best show right now (my opinion)!
ReplyDeleteIt looked like an old zoo. It will be interesting to see what other places they find.
ReplyDeleteIt's the only thing I hate about CBS owning the CW, In ACC country, the CW will preempt in a minute for ACC basketball. If you have basic cable, you're screwed. If you have expanded cable or satellite, you're good. Those last two carry more than one CW channel and the games are usually only on the local.
ReplyDeleteI wondered who that actor was. He looked so familiar.
ReplyDeleteJR posted that it was an actual abandoned zoo in Vancouver. This would make it so easy to bring on other creatures, I would love it.
ReplyDeleteJust when people started talking about how we should see more of Earth's fauna, BOOM! Mutant gorilla.
ReplyDeleteAwesome episode, packed with action and great themes exploration about tough choices. Seriously, The 100 just doesn't let me down!
I loved it. I always do but Bellamy & Clarke always being separated is getting really old and the next episode is gonna kill me.
ReplyDeleteExcellent! Loved the introduction of the Gorilla which totally blew me away. everything was perfect episode. it is going to be one hell of a finale in march!
ReplyDeleteThe CGI gorilla wasn't that good i mean Jurassic Park has better looking CGI then this lol
ReplyDeletelet me guess Olympus is filmed in Canada?
