I do interviews and write articles for the site in addition to reviewing a number of shows, including Supernatural, Arrow, Agents of Shield, The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, Forever, Defiance, Bitten, Glee, and a few others! Highlights of this past year include covering San Diego Comic Con as press and a set visit to Bitten. When I'm not writing about television shows, I'm often writing about entertainment and media law in my capacity as a legal scholar. I also work in theatre when the opportunity arises. All the Control scenes. How she went about confidently at the start and as the episode progressed experienced a loss of power and ended up following up on Harold's claims about the shootout at the stock exchange.
ReplyDeleteHarold's conversation with Control. Wonder when/if someone has ever insulted her to her face "You foolish woman" and "You're a janitor" - favorite verbal put downs by Harold.
Root and Control - Root bringing up Control's daughter was a low blow.
Mayhem Twins 2.0 - Reese and Root - the new full form of R&R
Root's emotion at the end. Trying to hold back the tears. And Reese just being the perfect silent companion. He doesn't need to console her, he is by her side in this search.
Samaritan's avatar wanting to meet the President - I liked this scene very much because often the fans have discussed whether the number of the President himself would come up one day. For now, at least we know that Samaritan is getting the President involved - how far down the road before Samaritan decides to assassinate him?
Without a doubt Finch and Control's scene. Amazing acting by Manheim and Emerson there, and it was also a nice tie in to the final scene of the episode (where the guy said something like "I'm the head of security. Do I look like a janitor?"
ReplyDeleteAlso, the rocket launcher.

The whole interrogation. From Reese to Root to Finch. Brilliant. Only downside...they didn't give me a crack at that B*tch!!!
ReplyDeleteI love how even Samaritan was like "Nah, this character doesn't need a name. Control is fine."
ReplyDeleteother - The scene in the car at the end when they followed the truck.
ReplyDeleteThe end scene where Root almost breaks down in the car. Damn that was powerful acting on Amy's part. My heart broke all over again.
ReplyDeleteWell they were all pretty cool but my favorites are
ReplyDeleteHarold tells Control that she's no more than the janitor
Control gets paint on her finger.
Other - Root/Finch call, her and Reese being in the car and sharing a silent moment while Root tries not to cry. Wow.
Ending scene where Reese and Root driving down the highway. About time we get a great ending music.
ReplyDeleteFinch and Fusco in the van. -Sorry, were you talking to me?
-Finch:You foolish woman
"Two assailants" show up on the railroad and launch the rocket on that bi*ch.
Bear. Damn Bear, why so sad?
Also i don't know how would anyone like the scenes with that brat, spouting words that are clearly beyond his level. Quite off-putting to watch.
That was one of the best episodes of the series, Loved the emotion and r00t saying that shaw did care. this is a must watch episode.
