Interesting, so that's how Claire resurfaces. I guess Samaritan hasn't been much of a good samaritan ;) Wonder what's with that hacker... might be related to Samaritan's big interest in coders & anything related to information technology?
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to this.
" guess Samaritan hasn't been much of a good samaritan "
ReplyDeleteThat or it's a trap
How could I miss that? Quite possible!
ReplyDeleteClaire makes a return. Interesting.
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking trap.
ReplyDeleteWith Shaw out of the picture, does this mean we're going to get a small break from root for a little while so then we'll get John and Harold episodes ala season 1 again?
ReplyDeleteI don't mean it in the COTW style of S1 but the buddy-buddy partnership of them working together on the PoI of the week. It would be nice to see for one or two episodes this season.
ReplyDeleteAlthough she is an integral part of the show I could see her taking a break for a while. It all depends on what happens in the next episode but one thing we know for sure that we don't get Shaw back. I could see Root struggling with that a lot.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't love Root to take a break but I think it's very likely.
Don't think so. Root is an integral part of the story now. The writers often leave one or two regular characters out of one episode (good thing - I hate when somebody is shoehorned just because they are regulars), but the show doesn't and hopefully won't go back to the early COTW structure of S1, it has evolved beyond that. There are VOD and DVD options though for those ones who want only those episodes.
ReplyDeleterun away Finch. run far away from Claire. She might try to steal your code!
ReplyDeleteWell they regularly change the leading duo for each episode (another thing I like in the show, not sticking to fixed pairs), so it is very likely that there will episode(s) when again John and Harold will bear the brunt of the hour. The main cast has been reduced to four again which means that there are more possible screentime for any of them.
ReplyDeletePoI is like Hansel and Gretchen - they drop breadcrumbs in the early part of the season then go back and pick those morsels to make a cohesive and compelling story. :)
ReplyDeleteI hear that very often that people want season 1 back. Everyone should love what they love but it does leave me a bit confused. Do people want back the season 1 one mode because it was so much better or are they just sentimental and want to go back to the time when they first fell in love with the show?.
ReplyDeletePersonally I think season 3 was the best season so far.
Me too. Because she was all in at the end of the Nautilus episode.
ReplyDeleteI don't trust her motives at all. To me, she was a perfect fanatical recruit for Samaritan. Why does she need Finch's help when Samaritan promised to keep her safe.
ReplyDeleteI think Team Finch won't know about Shaw's fate in the coming episode. But we, the viewers will know (because the Machine will find out ). The creators have said so in interviews after 4x11. They said that the Machine would know and not necessarily Team Finch. For reasons unknown, the Machine may not give up info on Shaw to Team Finch - this may lead to Root going off on a 'Shaw search' for some episodes.
ReplyDeleteHmm. Given how,in the previous episode, Samaritan discarded those innocent people (one of whom had won Nautilus contest) by setting them up, maybe Claire too finds herself in some danger.
ReplyDeleteBut I am still going with some sort of trap.
I find no results for a "Bella Dyne", but there is a Bella Dayne(http://www.imdb.com/name/nm3598736/) Did CBS goof up?
ReplyDeleteFrom what I gather the machine knows what happened in 4x12 and kept it to itself. We don't know what happens in 4x13 though. I doubt they'll leave the team in the dark. They need some closure. Otherwise this will go on forever and we don't even know if and when Sarah Shahi comes back.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to Claire's return, hope this helps in the fights against Samaritan.
ReplyDeleteI think bluebomb is right. Finch and Reese will do the case of the week stuff for a while again like old times, while Root will go on her own side mission. I just don't see Reese and Root working together for long, although I was kind of looking forward to seeing that relationship develop some more.
ReplyDeleteClaire is back :D
