Strange task for Finch. Wonder why Shahi is still being credited. And yay, Zoe's back!
ReplyDeleteYes! Zoe is back!
ReplyDeleteZoe is back!! What a nice surprise. I absolutely love her dynamic with Reese XD And I seriously can't wait for Blair Brown's debut. She's going to be great.
ReplyDeleteZoe and Iris in one episode. Two beautiful women interacting with Reese. Hubba-hubba.
ReplyDeleteNice to see the writers sticking with the therapist story line.
Will be nice to see how the Machine manipulates the system so that Finch is selected to be a juror.
My guess is they are keeping her credited in the Press releases til the hunt is over(hopefully next week). I don't think she will actually be credited in the episodes.
ReplyDeleteInteresting. Very interesting.
ReplyDeleteSo what's Finch doing there? Is it the literal meaning of "THE MACHINE SENDS FINCH ON HIS TOUGHEST ASSIGNMENT YET"? Or is it just a more exciting way of saying it's their newest number and the machine gave Finch a good alibi to get closer?
If it is an assignment, maybe FInch is filling in for Root. We don't know what happens in 4x13 so maybe she keeps looking for Shaw or is on another assignment or..... maybe regularly in the episode.
Honestly, I wouldn't have anything against a well written procedural episode. Imo, most of the recent number cases weren't that compelling so if it's a good procedural, I could definitely live with it.
Zoe & Blair Brown are something to look forward to. :)
The whole Reese/Iris thing is odd but enjoyable. I just hope she doesn't turn out to be a Samaritan asset.
ReplyDeleteYeah, probably.
ReplyDeleteZoe!
ReplyDeleteI did not know she's even show up this season.
Hooray for Zoe!
ReplyDeleteThough it sounds like a one-off episode with no Samaritan or brotherhood link (no Greer, Martine, Lambert, or Claire, or Elias, or Dominic...)
Zoe! And finally Blair Brown! Kind of interesting the way they worded the whole thing with Finch! Also glad Reese is still going undercover and I kind of like his relationship with Iris. No Samaritan-cast credited here, so perhaps we're going back to The Brotherhood for a bit, or we're in for a twist at the very end of the episode!?
ReplyDeleteYayyyy Zoe is back !!
ReplyDeleteI have been worried that she is working for Samaritan as well.
ReplyDeleteI don't think it'll be over next week because the Instagram for POI Noir Tweeted a few days ago a picture from 4.17 of John with the caption of searching for Shaw so like.
ReplyDeleteThe best combination of great cast
ReplyDeletePaige Turco + Blair Brown + David Slack writing = Excellent episode
Finally we see Blair Brown. Any YAYYY Zoe is back!!!!!
ReplyDeleteYippee, Zoe is back !! :-D Can't wait to see that ;-)
ReplyDeleteThose Noirs tend to have misleading titles. Can't take em at face value.
ReplyDeleteTaraji was credited up until 4C in the press releases, if I'm correct.
ReplyDeleteI think that the search for Shaw will end at M.I.A. (4x13) since the writer of Pretenders (4x06) said that this episode will serve the conclusion to the supposed trilogy which was only marketed as a trilogy by CBS, which is actually a Quad. "Searching for Shaw" - Chris Fisher, probably means that what's going to happen on the next episode that we're waiting, while the behind the scene picture of John is for Karma (4x17), disregarding the search for Shaw.
ReplyDeleteWatching Finch on jury duty will be just as enjoyable as when Mister Monk did it....
ReplyDelete"No ID."
ReplyDelete'No idea?'
No mention of Root. This SEEMS to confirm my suspicion that Root will go on a side quest for Shaw for a while, allowing more room for Finch and Reese to do their thing again. It's a very smart way for the writers do still tell both stories and still deal with the complaint about Ropt and Shaw. I don't mind Root myself, but I don't really see her working with Reese on her own either. Guess we'll see!
ReplyDeleteTrue.
ReplyDeleteWith the cheat tweet saying that Finch has survived HR, Vigilance and Samaritan. Does this mean that the Samaritan storyline is going to have been completed by the time we get to 4.14?
ReplyDeleteDon't hold your breath. :)
ReplyDeleteAs others have said pretty sure it tends to be misleading and I don't see them dragging it out. Plus EP.17 is Brotherhood centered so it would not make sense at all to have Reese on the hunt for Shaw.
ReplyDeleteTrilogy? I'm not sure how the last bunch of episodes would be called a trilogy.
ReplyDeleteCBS marketed "The Cold War, If-Else-Then, Control Alt Delete" as a trilogy, but according to Ashley Gable's tweet its more of Quad because it will serve as a conclusion of what began on episode 10. Shaw getting exposed on Honor Among Thieves arc ended on If-Else-Then, but it's just a piece of story arc in bigger picture.
ReplyDeleteI figured all of the pre-Samaritan contacts like Zoe and Tao would be kept away until it was safer for them to interact. We saw how delicately Finch handled communicating with Elias, probably the most powerful criminal in New York.
ReplyDeleteMaybe Zoe is one of the jurors....or the case is about her?
