Wow looks like I'm going to be reviewing Antman on my blog: http://lefilmreviews.blogspot.com/ Don't know if I should call this trailer creative or stupid.....was going to watch Agent Carter anyway :P
Marvel are the biggest trolls EVER! Haha, gotta love their marketing strategies. Anyway, premiering the normal version of the trailer during Agent Carter is a good idea too, hopefully it doesn't get leaked by Hydra. :)
they've been doing this for over a year now. Every blockbuster film does it. It's dumb, yes but. I don't know why people still question it as if it's new.
I don't really get why do they even put this on. Yeah i get that they need to promote the movie, but they can promo it even with still pictures trailer and be better than this.
I think whatever creates buzz is good marketing. Marvel puts up this "anti-sized" teaser, now you have tons of people frantically blowing up the video to a much larger size to be able to see something, and arguments about whether it's smart or stupid... they got people talking about Ant-Man (and, as a result, Agent Carter), and that's always a plus.
Well Agent Cater to me is a great place to promote it, since after all it is in one universe. But that kind of a trailer in my opinion is not that good of an idea, but still this is only my opinion.
Dammit, Marvel! I got all excited because we were finally going to see some footage from Ant-Man and the video is literally the size of an ant! Well played, Marvel. Well played XD
for a second i thought the person that posted recorded it from really far way LOL but i got it: Ant-Man: Ant sized promo that's pretty cool and now i can't wait even more for Agent Carter WHOOO!!!
Well, I wanted to watch Agent Carter anyway, so that's a bit of a bonus, but yeah, youtube makes these strategies way less effective than they should be xD
Well i didn't know until now. I read somewhere that it might be in the time period of the start of SHIELD. And even that Agent Carter will make an appearance.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
So this is a teaser trailer of a teaser trailer?
ReplyDeleteJust so people know its deliberately meant to be small. Full version next week during Agent Carter.
