Oh hell yeah, I'am even more excited for this show than I was before. Some lighthearted fun mixed with serious elements. And David Anders as a zombie! I already love Liv so much <3
I'm actually really excited about this show. The CW has been so surprisingly great with it's series lately, and a Rob Thomas show with Rose McIver as lead? I'm so sold. And this trailer is pretty awesome. The opening narration had a little Veronica Mars flair, which I love.
This looks like a Zombie version of The Ghost Whisperer/Pushing Daisies/Medium/Forever/etc. I guess the eating brains flashback idea came from the movie Warm Bodies (or is that just a standard zombie thing?) Joking aside, I'll probably tune in to watch, but based on this clip, I'm not particularly sold on the main cast.,,,,yet.
I kinda thought it would play on a high school (when I first saw the title). Since we already had high school aliens, vampires, vampire hunters, witches, werewolves, ... We were just missing zombies on a highschool. And ghosts. But we met some of those on Buffy ... I think this could be good. Reminds me of True Calling. I liked that show. But it's weird. In all my years with shows and movies I never heard of intelligent zombies. Or pretty zombies. Warm Bodies came close. But it was more of a comedy (at least to me).
Probably wait until the third episode because the pilot isn't that good but the second and third are really good....You'll probably give up on it after watching the pilot.
The thing is,it's looks like a procedural and i hate them. So,no point waiting till the 3rd one.I watch way too many shows anyway,if the pilot doesn't hook me,i'm out.Sorry.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
From the brains behind "Veronica Mars"...heh.
ReplyDeleteLooks awesome!
Amazing
ReplyDeleteThey found the perfect actress to play the lead.
ReplyDeleteLooks silly.
ReplyDeleteGood silly.
ReplyDeleteLooks absolutely amazing ... best thing about is the great cast ... lead actress was chosen perfectly
ReplyDeleteJust silly ^^ (and that's coming from a Veronica Mars fan).
ReplyDeleteLooks interesting I'm definitely going to watch!!
ReplyDeleteIt looks fun. We already have a serious zombie show lol.
ReplyDeleteI'm really looking dowry to this now we need a messengers promo.
ReplyDeleteThat doesn't mean it has to be silly.
ReplyDeleteBut it's just a teaser. Maybe i will like it, who knows.
Wasn't captivated till the end of the promo. Mr Anders is certainly a game changer.
ReplyDeleteMissed Robert Buckley on TV.

ReplyDeleteLooks awesome!
ReplyDeleteAs long as they stay away from the typical CW love drama then this looks fun, happy to see David Anders as a zombie.
ReplyDeleteLooks a bit daft tbh, not for me
ReplyDeleteDavid's already played a zombie in The Revenenant.
ReplyDeleteNot my cup of tea but still would give the pilot a try.
ReplyDeletelooks interesting enough and possibly fun.... will give it a sample

ReplyDeleteSong?
ReplyDeleteDoesn't look like my type of thing but I'll give it a try, I like the lead actress.
ReplyDeleteIt seems awesome

ReplyDeleteI've been waiting too long to sink my teeth into this. Roll on March 17
ReplyDeleteThis looks a little more rough around the edges than I would like but it hasn't deterred my interest in the show. I'm still looking forward to it.
ReplyDeleteI wasn't sold on the idea when it first was announced but now I think I might end up liking it.
ReplyDeleteMy feelings, too. The promo felt very much like a CW show, though. I'm on the fence on this one. Not sure if I'll watch it.
ReplyDeleteWell it's the CW so...a love triangle will appear sooner or later.
ReplyDeleteThis promo looks good but why are they putting it against agents of shield which is another comic book show. Did they not think about that
ReplyDeleteA regular CW show + A regular CBS procedural
ReplyDeleteliar or truth? Anders' character i mean
ReplyDeletelooks great, definitely watching it and love both Rose McIver and David Anders so that's a bonus
ReplyDeleteLiar of course.
ReplyDeleteI like it better now that I understand that it isn't a zombie apocalypse scenario.
ReplyDeleteLOL, i think he turned her and she doesn't remember is that crazy?
ReplyDeleteMost likely to have happened.
ReplyDeleteThe lead actress is quirky and fun but hard to tell how well this would do! The beginning scene cracked me up lol!
ReplyDeleteAnyone know the name of the song? Please someone reply.
ReplyDeleteI like the actress but I don't think I'm feeling it
ReplyDeleteThis looks good! I've loved Rose McIver ever since she played Tinker Bell on OUAT and Cathy in Petals On The Wind.
ReplyDeleteIf it's Rob Thomas behind this then I'm in....
ReplyDeleteLooks good. Hope it actually is....
ReplyDeleteI'll try.
