Yep. I jumped ship after E8 - and was actually done a couple before that. Like Coven, you can tell that they write this middle episodes more on the fly because they are scattered and more about gore than furthering character development. When there isn't a single character I care about and what happens to them, I know I'm done. They're going to have to work hard to get ppl back for S5.

ReplyDeleteIt's doing about the same as last season... This season just has too many side stories... Needs more focus... Still enjoy it though
ReplyDeleteI have a feeling American Crime Story is gonna flop especially with OJ being theme... Scream Queens has more potential... I think they'll cross the bridge of deciding on more AHS when they get there but each year is different so really it doesn't matter as long as they have a good theme

Have you seen FOTB for reviewing purposes or just promos? Because the promos are hilarious, and I agree they should air it there. But, after the ABC Studios comedies fiasco last year, I think they'll keep Blackish where it is

ReplyDeleteAwesome! Glad to hear since TM is my favorite show. If you have seen The Goldbergs or Trophy Wife, how does it compare to those?
ReplyDeleteOh it's hard. As I said, I've only seen 3 episodes so far. And to me, the saddest cancellation last year was Trophy Wife because it really had potential but was aired in a time slot it shouldn't have been.
ReplyDeleteI've seen 5 episodes of The Goldbergs and it just stopped downloading on my computer but I didn't feel the need to get the DVD or something.
I think I'd say that Fresh Off The Boat, so far, is better than Trophy Wife but let's see if it's as funny as it is now 10 weeks after it premiered.
I take it that you saw the first five episodes of The Goldbergs. Its gotten much better since then. Trophy Wife was always the stronger show though and they could have at least given it the 9 pm spot.

ReplyDeleteWell that I did not know! That's awesome. Wish the actress who portrayed her mother were Asian. They were the best in Trophy Wife... Jackie and Bert.
STALKER....................still defying the critics! "Secrets and Lies" (S1E12) is now tied with "Manhunt" (S1E3) for 5th highest rated episode (7.87 mil.) since the series premiere (9.05 mil.) TV critics can keep holding their breath............we'll see which one ends faster. Nobody 4 LATER!!!
