A sequel drama about what became of the evil child in another classic horror movie, the 1976 The Omen. The thriller series follows the adult life of Damien Thorn a world-renowned war photographer who gets his adrenaline fix by putting himself in extreme situations. He’s brilliant, rugged, and can charm his way into and out of any situation. He’s also running from the dark truth that has haunted him his whole life — that there’s something about him, something terrifying, that causes pain and death everywhere he goes. On his 30th birthday, his worst, buried memories spill forth and he must finally face the truth - that he and the evil forces protecting him were responsible for the deaths of his adoptive parents, that he is destined to be the Antichrist.

Odd choice of channel to put a show like this on.
ReplyDeleteI'm intrigued, but after the whole woee fiasco i'll wait.
ReplyDeleteVery.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure it's going to be a lot darker than that show and it was a mistake to cancel it because they really don't have any other good shows on that channel.
ReplyDeleteI agree. The show sounds interesting but I wonder if some of its concept's darkness may be softened by the particular channel it is airing on.
ReplyDeleteWhen they announced series pickup, I thought sth like that. Then I watched Flowers in the attic and Lizzie Borden took an axe and for me even Unreal trailer has that feeling that network is leaning toward grittier themes.
ReplyDeletedepending on how they go.. it'll be interesting to see how their going to take it with the character being grown.. instead of a child..for once
ReplyDeleteEspecially considering they canceled WOEE, I feel like that should have had at least one more season, and would have been more compatible with Damien than any other show they have
