I'm not sure this is a burn off. Saturdays are considered to be burn off's. The mentalist is airing it's final episodes on Wednesday. If CSI is picked up for a final season then Sunday may not be it time slot next fall. rather Tuesday if they see good ratings for this episode. POI maybe shifted to Sundays.
Screams burn off to me which is a real shame as IMO if any show its this one that deserves to be atleast renewed for a short season so they can send the show off properly since in the past it has been such a juggarnaught for CBS
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
This is strange. It's not even new episodes of NCIS/NCIS NO airing before it. Screams burnoff to me.
ReplyDeleteIt's pre-emptions messed the schedule and now they are just plugging it in weird slots.
ReplyDeleteAre they still airing the two straight episodes for the Sunday before this?
ReplyDeleteThis really does sound a bit of a burn-off. After this airing on the 27th, they are two episodes away from the finale already.
Not so much a burn-off as a cremation before it's even stopped beating!
ReplyDeleteSeems like it's "goodnight CSI", such loyalty from CBS!
Their swan song perhaps...
