Breaking Bad alumna Anna Gunn is set as the female lead opposite Gary Sinise in CBS’ Criminal Minds planted spinoff. The proposed spinoff will air as an episode of the mothership series this season written by Criminal Minds executive producer/showrunner Erica Messer.
The spin off follows agents helping American citizens who find themselves in trouble abroad, with Sinise playing their boss, Jack Garrett. Gunn will play Ally Lambert, an international law expert and talented linguist. She’s smart, capable and an indispensable part of the team that makes sure bad guys worldwide don’t slip through the murky waters of international law.

ReplyDeleteI really don't need to add another tv show to my viewing schedule, let alone a spin-off. After all, NCIS New Orleans lasted about two episodes for me. Then I read Gary Sinise AND Anna Gunn have been cast for this CM show. I'll check it out for sure.
ReplyDeleteVery happy to see Anna Gunn is getting work. I just wish it were on something creatively stronger than a crime procedural spin-off. This won't make use of her talents.
