ReplyDeleteJust because Voight is the protagonist in this story doesn't negate the fact that he is a horrible corrupt cop who beats and tortures suspects to obtain confessions. He still needs to be taken down.
Voight pretended to take money to maintain his cover, there is no evidence that he is dirty so far. For everything else he does, so what? They operate in the grey - that is main topic of the whole show, they all stretch the boundaries. If you don't like that, move on. Voight is the lead character of the show if he is taken down, the show is over. Wishing that the main character of a show goes away is pointless.

I totally agree with your comment. I like Lindstead romance and I don't care about Ruzek and Burgess. For me, the couple in Chicago PD is: Erin and Jay. Best chemistry, best friendship, best lines... I love them!
