All three rank among network television’s top 10 series, and are produced by CBS Television Studios.

  2. I knew there was going to be CBS renewals after what happened with the CW yesterday XD Congrats to the fans!

  3. It's not official, but Stalker is pretty much cancelled now.

    ReplyDelete
  4. What about NCIS: LA?

    ReplyDelete
  5. No news on any other shows yet.

    ReplyDelete
  6. Well CW did it first xD. Now give me the renewals for MOM, 2BG, Mike & Molly. Stalkers is still hanging or this means cancell?

    ReplyDelete
  7. Yay Scorpion! Hope it can continue to provide interesting cases. Hoping for Stalker to be renewed too out of the freshmen series.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Yay Scorpion! My favourite new show of the season :)

    ReplyDelete
  9. Whoa, another pleasant surprise! Happy for all three!! Hoping for other renewals as well soon.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Keeping fingers crossed for Stalker too.... would rather it than either Scorpion or NCIS:NO if it came to a choice!

    ReplyDelete
  11. Not entirely unexpected, but good news nonetheless.

I honestly have only watched a couple episodes of NCIS:NO, but I've caught more of both Scorpion and Madam secretary and enjoy them.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Bye bye, Stalker. Guess CBS won't be stalking you anymore.

    ReplyDelete
  13. The CW and CBS have made me fantastically happy.

    ReplyDelete
  14. I was keeping my hopes up for Stalker too, I'm really enjoying it, but it's looking less and less likely...

    ReplyDelete
  15. I'm hoping for a McCarthys renewal later this season. I know it's not likely, but the show has grown creatively and I think it has a lot of potential to grow commercially.

    ReplyDelete
  16. This is probably not good news for H50.

    ReplyDelete
  17. More bullshit:

Nina Tassler says rookie comedy The McCarthys is still a contender for next year. #TCA15— Lesley Goldberg (@Snoodit) January 12, 2015

  18. I think so too... What a shame, it was a good show...

    ReplyDelete
  19. I didn't really like the show much to be honest, watched the first three episodes and just couldn't get into it.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Not necessarily. They already cancelled "The Millers", are losing "Two and a Half Men". If their comedy development isn't great, I could see them picking it up off the bubble, at least as a backup.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Yay, Scorpion! So glad about that one! At least one of my new shows is doing well lol

    ReplyDelete
  22. I actually like "The Mccarthys" so I'm hoping it's true though I know it's probably a reeeeaaalllly long longshot.

    ReplyDelete
  23. The McDermott curse

    ReplyDelete
  24. Yeah, that's not likely.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Well my dad will be happy about Madame Secretary.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Alright, FOX/NBC you're up next! Renew Sleepy Hollow, Family Guy and The Blacklist ASAP

oh and how about renewing AoS right of the bat now ABC? We all know that you won't cancel a Marvel show before the year of Marvel arrives

  27. Stalker is definitely done. CBS has been really hitting the "trio" in various promos, so it looks like they are all in. There really are only three mysteries on CBS schedule: H50 (probably gone), POI (13-episode arc) and CSI (certain final season treatment for 15 episodes to get to 350) - could really see it back at Friday 9 - very compatible with BB, which CBS is going to keep going as long as TS wants.

    ReplyDelete
  28. There will be a page and Walter cliffhanger at the end is season 1 as said by show runners happy we will have season 2 to see what happens....

    ReplyDelete
  29. Madam Secretary will be CBS's Reign (early renewal, ratings drop in spring).

    ReplyDelete
  30. What about ncis and ncis Los Angeles

    ReplyDelete
  31. Non-freshman renewals are announced in March.

    ReplyDelete
  32. If The Odd Couple bombs (as expected) I would not be shocked if CBS strongly considers renewing The McCarthy's. Sure it has under performed, but with CBS having no sitcom luck recently they could decide to keep it as a backup or as a stop gap for a year like they did with The Millers.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Great for Madame Secretary and Scorpion, I love them both! But NCIS NO, really? It wouldn't hold in any other spot except for after NCIS.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Don't underestimate older viewers, they are more at home and more loyal to shows they like. Madame Secretary is great, I love watching Tea Leonie.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Congratulations to all the fans whose shows got renewed!

    ReplyDelete
  36. Stalker is now 100% dead, not that it had any chance to begin with!Sigh!

    ReplyDelete
  37. I'm still hoping for a miracle & see H50 renewed for a final season!

    ReplyDelete
  38. CBS has a thing for dramas :D Scorpion and NCIS:NO are great new shows and i hope they will have same or better success like other CBS dramas.

    ReplyDelete
  39. No surprises accept that it really early which I love btw) congrats to the fans of all those shows, enjoy!

    ReplyDelete
  40. Now i'm gonaa watch Madam Secretary

    ReplyDelete
  41. I also still keep my fingers crossed for H50 and Stalker, H50 has better chances I think, because it is not that bad on Fridays.

    ReplyDelete
  42. I wouldnt completely count it out, it may get a nod for the summer?

    ReplyDelete
  43. which is probably why they'll air it there next season too?

    ReplyDelete
  44. It's episode order got cut,it's ending early,non-CBS owned,nah!

    ReplyDelete
  45. CSI, Stalker and The Mentalist most likely all gone, they may need H5O at least for schedule filler. Perhaps it will get a short final season or who knows maybe a full season?

    ReplyDelete
  46. well that makes NO sense

    ReplyDelete
  47. I got into Stalker after the first 5 episodes, it would be a shame if they cancel it. Whatever they air after NCIS is a success, it could be in japanese, people who watch NCIS just don't switch the chanel. That is mean, but Stalker is in a tough spot now.

    ReplyDelete
  48. How many episodes did they get? I just watched it over the break, and I like it. It has potential!

    ReplyDelete
  49. Mom and 2BG are no brainers, M&M might come down to Melissa McCarthy's availability. Stalker I cant see being renewed unless it goes to the summer.

    ReplyDelete
  50. It got a full 22 episode order which got reduced to 20 but now it will only air 18 since another new show is taking over,i caan't remember which show. It's 100% dead.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Yeah, I figure they'll be coming next month/early March as per usual but I was hoping they'd pull a CW and announce everything today.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Firstly I hope H50 gets renewed but it is a borderline show as was Madame Secretary--MS getting renewed is one less spot for H50. It still might squeak by but the odds are now longer.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Please, noooooooooooooooooooo.

    ReplyDelete
  54. LOVING these early renewals! Wooohoooo Scorpion! Perhaps I'll give NCIS:NO another try and I really need to find the time to start Madam Secretary!

    ReplyDelete
  55. Um you do realize Fridays CBS has Uncover Boss.Five 0 and Blue Bloods so not sure why you think H50 is in trouble?

    ReplyDelete
  56. How funny will it be if AOS lasts all the way till 2020 seeing as no more movies beyond 2020 yet lol.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Stalker is like another Criminal Minds and i dn't think ppl wanna watch another Criminal Minds show as it is i mean the spin off failed lol

    ReplyDelete
  58. Out of those 3--unfortunately H50 would be third and the weakest. And it is true H50 is a borderline show.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Heh, well, you might want to tell that to the CM team, considering they're planning to give another spin-off a try!
I haven't seen "Stalker", but if the comments from those here who do watch it are any indication, apparently some people do want more shows like that.

    ReplyDelete
  60. I was hoping for that, too. It'd be really nice to just get it out of the way now and watch the remainder of the season with no worries :D. But if we must wait until March, well...

    ReplyDelete
  61. i'm so excited i could burst!! i was so nervous about Scorpion which ironically was the new show i was most skeptical about but quickly became one of my faves:)

    ReplyDelete
  62. Why do you think H50 is probably gone? It does well in its timeslot and I don't see any other show doing as well as H50 does. I'd leave Friday night alone if I were CBS. If it's working why change it.

    ReplyDelete
  63. I think they renewed these 3 freshman shows early so the writers know they can end the season with a cliffhanger and not worry about being canceled.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Stalker's case for renewal just got a whole lot harder than it already was.

Time to root for a summer time-slot :D

    ReplyDelete
  65. I'm sure FOX will announce some renewals at their TCA session (and ABC will wait until the last minute as always) so it's nice. Then I'll only have to worry about a few shows.

    ReplyDelete
  66. It would be

but it would truly be a shame and missed opportunity if ABC canned it now before the biga** Marvel line-up kicks off. Also the producers would be dumb NOT to relate the show to the movies.

I get that they like full on storytelling but to keep this show alive they need to give the show certain sub-seasons. Before a Guardians of the Galaxy movie release: tell a storyline about the agents actually going to space. Fight Hydra before a Cap movie. Fight Ultron bots before Avengers 2. Deal with an escaped asgardian villain as the season big bad before a Thor release. And so on and so on.

If AoS plays it smart it benefits from being a solid PR vehicle (wich it isn't right now IMO)

The show NEEDS to change style and tone to attract the films audience

    ReplyDelete
  67. WHOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SCORPION RENEWED HELL YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  68. Thank god I can start watchin g scorpion againwithout fearing of any cancellation CBS is way to unpredictable so I stopped watching when it went to a 1.9

    ReplyDelete
  69. Maybe just Murder since it's limited and has already aired half of its season and announce Revenge's final season.

    ReplyDelete
  70. H50 is not gone. CBS has several other shows that are older that would get canceled before it. POI has at least a few more seasons in it as well.

    ReplyDelete
  71. I'm surprised but happy about Scorpion and Madam Secretary!

    ReplyDelete
  72. I've been meaning to catch up on Scorpion so a S2 is a goon enough incentive for me to actually put a bit more effort into that.

And I've quite been enjoying Madam Secretary so YAY on that front.

No feelings one way or another about NCIS though. It's an overall good franchise so I'm not that surprised.

    ReplyDelete
  73. Actually Madam Secretary's rating have been holding up quite nicely so that wasn't that surprising.

Neither was Scorpion to tell you the truth. Granted the ratings haven't been spectacular but with The Mentalist ending this year they needed a replacement of that kind of show, and it fit the bill...

    ReplyDelete
  74. no i mean what are their chances or more SHIELD than Carter is it safe?

    ReplyDelete
  75. Glad to hear Madam Secretary's been performing well. I know political dramas can be hit or miss and usually the ones I like end up on the chopping block.

As for Scorpion...I hope it's not wrong I'm glad The Mentalist is ending XD

    ReplyDelete
  76. I hopw they renew NCIS Los Angeles in March too & Elementary gets s4 because of syndication.

    ReplyDelete
  77. Angela, Stalker is great! I think it would benefit even more from a crossover with CM!

    ReplyDelete
  78. I've been meaning to check it out! From its description it sounds like a very creepy show-I can see why CBS put it alongside "Criminal Minds". It'd be neat for "Criminal Minds" to do a crossover sometime, they've never done that before, and like you said, if the description of "Stalker" is anything to go by, crossing the two shows would certainly make total sense (might also help "Stalker" gain more viewers as well).

    ReplyDelete
  79. Madam Secretary yes, the other two were certain renewals
