  2. Castle, there is a little thingy, called phone, you know? :(
Why do they need to write stories which are based on making the characters idiot? I can't forget the ep when they were not able to call 911 because the phone was locked ... :((

  3. Looking good looking very very good, i like where this is going so happy with the writing this season compared to S5 and S6.

  4. There's also a little thing called suspension of disbelief. It works wonders when you watch crime shows.
I wouldn't think of Castle as an idiot because he didn't call 911. Not everyone thinks of that when they hear a horrified scream, with their adrenaline pumping. Also, you can't get a signal everywhere and the house seemed pretty isolated.
As for the other episode, they had purposely removed the emergency call button from the phone to make the story possible. Like I said, suspension of disbelief.

  5. Man, now all I can think about is how do Kate and the guys find him?!

  6. And all I can think of is there´s some kind of woods, will Castle have a flashback to when he disappeared?

  7. Oh, now that's a thought! Interesting.

  8. I hope he called the police on the way.

  9. Come on, Castle. Whaddaya doin'? First you don't call this in when you get in your car and then you start putting your finger prints all over the vehicle you followed?

  10. Don't blame him, he has never been around cops. maybe if he could have done some PI course he could have learned how not to destroy traces. Oh wait...

  11. That's some graduate-level sarcasm right there. Bravo, my friend.

  12. Suspend your disbelief is saved for technical discrepancies. Like when Lanie/Perlmutter works as a one man CSI unit, when people are shooting a truckload of ammo at each other without any hit or harm, or (of course) the core concept of a writer is allowed to to participate in investigations like Castle do.

Suspend your disbelief has never been an excuse of bad plot cornerstones. The example you wrote is the shining example of it: you can't have a phone without an emergency button, period. It's simply bad writing when the plot turns on this. They hope that the audience will sleep anyhow or will be numb/dumb enough to not care about it is an insult, beacuse making a plausible story is their job.

Of course it isn't applied to fandoms, who praise everything as the Holy Grail, regardless of its value. (Funny thing though that LATER on it comes back that certain episodes were really sh*t, even according to the biggest fans.)

  14. Well Stupid Castle is your Name!

  15. oh Castle, how stupid and silly you are! Alone on the way, when will you ever learn?

  16. I cant wait either. Castle is NOT stupid. How many of you have been in a situation where you aren't thinking straight at the moment? Does that make you stupid as you make Castle out to be? Think about it.

The writers are making the storyline suspenseful and they deserve credit not criticism. If the crititcs here have better ideas, then submit them.

This is a fan site, not a critics site. True fans stand by their shows, not tear their show down bit by bit.

  17. Why do you bother watching this show? I enjoy the shows I enjoy for entertainment, not so I can analyze each detail.

  18. I apologize, I'm from those backward places on the Earth where people beleive that a badly written plot seriously hamper the show and exactly the details are which make it enjoyable. (Oh, and I'm honored that you felt my opinion important enough for your first ever comment.)

  19. As far as I have seen yet, spoilertv is NOT a fan site, has never been. That sometime fandom members try to silence the other opinions - well, it tells more about the fans than about the criticism.

  20. Why do I think that this isn't going to end like a birthday party? O.o

  21. Maybe people should consider that 1) this sp is cut like hell 2) Who knows he did call beckett and tell her where he is going or whatever, my god we didnt even get a full episode yet and already people play the "Castle is being a idiot" card.

  22. Blame the ABC PR Dept. The sneak peeks are about to give a feeling about the episode. That's the impression what it gave. If it's a false one, the error is not at the receiving end.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Or blame no1 and be patient before jumping to conclusions.

    ReplyDelete
  24. I just say it like it is not making up excuses. also i for 1 check sp's for the content not the context otherwise there is no point in checking it.

    ReplyDelete
  25. First rule of sneakpeekers is don't watch any sneak peeks if you are afraid of having conclusions.

That somebody prefers fabricating excuses just because the conclusion would not be favourable, be it. Not my cup of tea, but I don't ask anybody not to do it either.

  26. Doesnt that speak to you?

    ReplyDelete
  27. Yes because I am a fan, not a critic.
