  1. Barrowman really make me afraid of what is to come.

  2. John Barrowman and Stephen Amell are such great Ambassadors for this show. And no Stephen, I care very much that Oliver won't be on. My original team Arrow is why I watch.

  4. Barrowman really sells the show! Everytime he speaks he left you with such intrigue! I love my Cap. Jack Harkness! That man is awesome! :D

Love John Barrowman. They really need to beef up the second half of this season with loads of Malcolm....I was expecting to have seen a lot more of him in the first part of this season when he was bumped up to a season regular!!

  6. Nooooo. Don't touch Oliver and Thea. I want that relationship to work out.

  7. Ha, John Barrowman is totally awesome - he gives the best teases.

Bless Stephen - I think he's so humble and loves the rest of the cast so much, he massively underestimates his importance to the show, and it's viewers. But for me at least, he's absolutely the reason I watch. All the upcoming episodes I'll watch, but I'll be keeping one eye on the clock, ticking down to when he's back where he belongs.

Build your world and your cast by all means, but don't forget what got you this far, show.

Finally - lose Original Team Arrow for good, and I'm out.

  8. Wow, and again every comment I see is, 'Oeh John Barrowman, yeah, yeah!' Okay, we get it, he is funny, he is pretty awesome. But this has been my problem and it's even more so now, HE DOES NOT sell this show, it's not about him! But it's been proving otherwise this season in my opinion, and by now they should rename the show to be about him. I mean... Actually asking the question if they would actually ever really be allies? Yeah, sure, because that thing where they were fighting Nyssa and a few minutes later Oliver put his own life and everyone around him in danger so he could protect Malcolm, that was totally realistic.

The sound of it, I'm going to hate this show so much at the end of it... The whole thing with Malcolm is SO totally destroying this show, not just Thea who is obviously just... I have no more belief in that at this point with the way that inverview went again, because the way he said about one character saying to another that would REALLY shock people, let me guess, that's going to be Oliver and Thea? Because yes Arrow writers, you have shown more than once how you only made them so close as siblings, just to rip it freaking apart and way from the fans, and have Thea only be Malcolm's dog.

But again, John Barrowman says that Malcolm cares about Oliver, so hey, it must be true right? God has spoken? I still think it's utter bullshit that he "cares" about him, someone that cares about someone, doesn't manipulate you into going to fight to the death, and then have some bad drunk writer on the team decide that Malcolm should also be the one to have Lightspeed travel to first jump into the Lair as some "ally" after all, and then suddenly be there with Oliver to save him, so they can hug and they can tell each other how much they love each other....

Not to mention that it still feels like they never really gave a rat's ass about Tommy either, because that whole thing is only talked about like: 'Yeah, wasn't is super freaking awesome how Malcolm knocked him out back then and basically is responsible for his death?' Just like how Thea is just completely okay with that too. And it wasn't pretty obvious already now taht most likely it's going to be them having to team up with Malcolm, which will make sure that either Thea never let's go of her weird "grinning-Constantly-when-around-him" bond with Malcolm, or will just never forgive Oliver for teaming up with him, so great move on that one writers!

Like I've said before, that's going to be an amazing season 4! The season of Oliver and Malcolm as butt buddies! Oh, and Thea either dead probably, in a mental institution, or just back again to being a useless tertiary character that is only there to screw up Oliver's life even more constantly.

But again, having them team up multiple times in ONE freaking season, sure totally realistic, and specially, totally a sign of The Green Arrow and The Dark Archer being nemesis.

And I'm SO happy, really, that there's been even the slighest hint of: 'Yeah, they found out what Malcolm did to Thea, and now with Oliver gone, they do want to make sure that she is mostly safe.' But noooo, AGAIN, who gives a crap about Oliver's baby sister right?

  9. You and me both! But I do hae to admit that the way John Barrowman said that about one character saying something SO) shocking to antoher, really came off to me as Thea to Oliver or the other way around. Especially if we're gonna get the whole team-up, again...

  10. Stephen Amell & John Barrowman always do such great interviews!Absolutely love them!

  11. "Arsenal has been a very integrated character"

yeah, if by integrated you mean standing around and not getting to say stuff while Oliver and Felicity blabber for most of the time

  12. He's been in 5 episodes this season...

  13. Where he almost instantly made Oliver believe that he actually cares about Thea, and thus Oliver taking him under his peotrection against the entire League. Until Oliver suddenly figured out that Malcolm was behind Sara's death anyway, even though he swore on Thea's life. Not to mention that most of the threat is still coming from Malcolm who can obviously play everyone, instead of the threat coming mostly from Ra's.

It's just frustrating, he could actually be the whole nemesis thing, but they keep putting him in a grey area where they want people to feel sorry fro him or whatever.

  14. Swoon my boys! (Not you Brandon)....I loved this interview (even though iI hate Imdb). I'm really excited for Roy to step up, really really. I think, w/o focusing on the negative when the show returns, Roy's step up is the most positive thing I can look forward to. Everything else is going to be so freaking sad. Roy's arc will be the only thing i'll be smiling about. Omg, Roy's "The light" hahahaHahahaha

  15. But that's the thing about being his nemisis, he's confusing the hero AND the viewer. It's the same with the Joker

  16. (Gives you a sarcastic thumbs up). If i drive him to drink, so be it.

  17. (Gives you a genuine hug) it all will be alright, he'll be gone by season 4

  18. John absolutely cracks me up. He is so excited to be a part of this show that it comes through in every interview I've seen of his. You can tell he just wants to say so much about upcoming twists and turns with the stories and characters but can't. I love how he tries to contain his excitement and answer the questions asked without spoiling anything. I also love to see him squirm when he is interviewed by someone who really knows the Arrow universe because that's when he knows he has to chose his words very carefully since these fans really don't miss a beat.

  19. Hopefully by episode 17.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Didn't they say that he's at least signed on for 16 episodes?
    So 10 to go

    ReplyDelete
  21. The Joker is the last person you can compare him to. The Joker comes out for what he is. Of course he is confusing in his way, but it's not this unrealistic. I mean, like I said, it was way too easy how Oliver just stood up against the League that he fought with, for the guy that is responsible for mass murder and the death of his best friend. And now he's going to know about what he did to Thea, which I still doubt she's going to be able to live with, and then he's going to have to be thankful to him again and they're going to be good friends?

Not to mention that The Joker has nothing to do with this show constantly acting all of a sudden again like Malcolm is such a good guy, because it's not just against the viewer, it's also against the characters. 'Oh, he's saying that, so it must be true!' Even Slasde was way more logical than Malcolm, who has proven time and time again that he's just sick, twisted and that he has some secret Godcomplex in him where he thinks he's superior to everyone, and how everyone is just a tool, or pawn like in a game of chess, and if they would just stick with that Maclolm, fine, but then we're gonna get flashbacks again of how hés such a sad little man that lost his wife, we get it, but there's plenty of people in this show alone that have suffered way worse losses. Which he's pretty much single-handedly mostly responsible for.

But yeah, feel bad for him, be allies, let him make Oliver's sister in just as much a mass murderer, which I bet Malcolm is gonna do given the chance some more.

  22. It was something like that. I remember they had one number for him, then they stretched it for 3 more episodes. All I ask is that they don't do a spin off. and 10 to go you say?? I'm counting!

    ReplyDelete
  23. Well...I enjoy him as a character. He's quirky enough to become a solid superhero for a spin-off.

  24. Different strokes. ; )

  25. "Murder of his wife." Brandon is getting Ray confused with Shaw, it seems.

    ReplyDelete
  26. yeah that's what i mean i don't want their relationship to ever be broken
