I knew it!Another Flarrow cross-over before the season end!Yay!
ReplyDeleteNO to Atom spin-off,find some other exciting DC comics characters instead CW!
Actually, Pedowitz said they are looking at an annual crossover in the fourth quarter of the year (like Doctor Who's Christmas specials). So that would mean no crossover for this season, but definitely one for Arrow season 4 and The Flash season 2.
ReplyDeleteStill saying Harrison isn't Reverse Flash. LOL I'm stubborn
ReplyDeleteSo does that means that Wells is Solomon Hunter(Zoom) and Eddie is Dr. Zoom?
ReplyDeleteDidn't like the Firestorm costume. I still don't get why Black Canary us necessary now that Oliver is gone, having Digg and Arsenal who are better skilled. But i'm still wanting to see her suit up and seeing how it pan out.
An Atom show? Well, it's more like a Blue Beetle show, tbh. I still would want a Green Lantern show more(i want my tv Justice League to be Arrow, Supergirl, Flash, Green Lantern and Firestorm)
I think he is Zoom and Eddie is Dr. Zoom.
ReplyDeleteWell they did announce Vixen animated show and it's tied to the Arrowverse.

A show featuring The Atom would be so boring..........Green Lantern would be better considering the relationsip of hal Jordon/Oliver Queen in the comics
ReplyDeleteI hope Vixen is interesting......but is she really that popular among DC characters
ReplyDeletesound a lot news for the flash than for arrow
ReplyDeleteNatalie Abrams stated there was a trailer. Hopefully you'll get it soon.
ReplyDeleteGlad there will be a crossover every season. But think it would be better for it to be post midseason cause it's not convinent for the on going story for that ms.
Still think Barry wanted to save his mother and Wells had to stop him.
I hope for a Hal to appear and be a love interest for Laurel. And when he departs the story we see him been zoomed intoa green light.
ReplyDeleteOh,bummer.Anyway,still great news.
ReplyDeleteI don't get the appeal of Atom. Don't think it will work as a standalone and doubt Brandon Routh can carry a show.
ReplyDeletewait there was a trailer shown? for both arrow and the flash?
ReplyDeleteOn the EW website they mentioned that Diggle is going to put on the Arrow suit until Oliver comes back. Yay....if anyone should take up the mantle of fighting while Oliver is out of the mix its the guy with the special ops background!!
ReplyDeleteAnnual crossover? Do I need to start following The Flash as well then? Although 308 seemed fine to me.
ReplyDeleteSeeing the hatred for Laurel and Katie Cassidy online, I am sure this won't be a popular opinion but I am glad she is being given more to do. I was so disappointed in her in S2. Though has Laurel officially become the Black Canary on the show yet? I don't think so.
The climax of Oliver-Ra's fight remains on of the most disturbing scenes I have ever seen on TV (besides I am not into this genre generally). I don't for one minute believe Oliver is dead though I wonder how he will return. Fallen? Definitely. I heard there is 3 episodes without him in present day. Is that true?

ReplyDeleteThink so. Except if she didn't saw the recently released
she could be talking about one of the Arrow three left behind promos.......it show Laurel kicking butt so......
ReplyDeleteExcited for more Flash/Arrow crossover. Digg wearing Arrow costume and maybe getting a mask in the future.. Yay.. I want him front and center in the coming episodes. He deserves it.
ReplyDeleteI am surprised they are even thinking about ATOM as an independent show. Unlike Barry Allen whom almost everyone liked when he came in Arrow ATOM/Ray Palmer has been received with mixed reviews. They would do good with a new super hero in another city starting independently and later having ties with Arrow and The Flash. Nightwing, Blue Beetle or Green Lantern. BR's ATOM can be visiting super hero for all these shows.
Still confused with Laurel wearing a costume to fight after 3 days of Oliver's death. I wouldn't have minded her going to field assisting the team with that ski mask like she wore in the alley. It is so stupid when they say within 3 days of Oliver's disappearance Laurel decided to make a Sara look alike costume to be Oliver 2.0. Unless she is doing it to impersonate Sara for Quentin or to give the feel that Canary, Arrow and Arsenal are still protecting the city. Still just 3 days???
Why do I bother with logic and Arrow? :P I will still enjoy it with all the plot holes. I wish they did half the work of Person of interest in their script to make it more sensible and tighter.
Can't wait to see Laurel kicking ass
ReplyDelete2nd Vixen Promotional Image:
ReplyDeleteSo, the only way for Diggle to get a costume is for him to borrow Oliver's? Messed up.
ReplyDeleteBack in 2013 David Goyer announced that DC would make 4 films and only one came true and that was SS movie other 3 were Booster Gold.DeathStroke and Team 7. now i really wish DC would make a DeathStroke film with Manu Bennet to do DeathStroke.
ReplyDeleteI think it might be Booster Gold
Firestorm and The Atom ( maybe even The Black Canary ... Speedy ) spin-off !!!
ReplyDeleteAgreed. I like Brandon overall and he was sweet in all roles I saw him in except Ray Palmer. So freaking annoying and I'm not saying that cause of Felicity or Olicity.
ReplyDeleteNo solo Atom stuff, please. I'm having difficulty tolerating Routh's character as is.
ReplyDeleteOkkk, first. I knew Wells was RF. Haha glad they got that out the way. Secondly, NOOO!! Do not stretch out The Atom's SL for anything!!! Let's just wrap up his SL on Arrow and that's it!!! Thirdly....Ummm, I thought Roy was stepping up?? Confused much?? And Victor Garber, I'm so looking forward to seeing him on the show. It'll be great.
ReplyDeleteI think she might be referring to this. And it make me cringe.
ReplyDeletehttps://twitter.com/JarettSays/status/554357084352172033
Wait....what?
ReplyDeleteWas there ever a rumor of a Lord of the Rings series on The CW? Lol.
Might be the other way around given that Wells is a doctor and such.
ReplyDeleteMakes sense that the crossovers would be early in the season so as to not interfere with the major storylines, which tend to coalesce in the final eight or so episodes.
ReplyDeleteAWESOME MORE FLASH AND ARROW CROSSOVERS YAY!!!!
ReplyDeleteBut does that rule out crossovers with just one character poping up on either show, where it isn't a full on flash/arrow crossover with many people?
ReplyDeleteWhen will I be able to watch the full panel?
ReplyDeleteI remember talking to you about this before the season started in hoping that the EPs would commit to Laurel and her arc, and when they did they just did it all wrong and now I'm disheartened by it because they're not doing Sara's death any justice and it really makes me miffed because I feel like Laurel was a stronger character in the back half of season 2 than she is now. Now all she is, is an angry woman with no other extra added layers. Hopefully the next few episodes can rectify that but I'm not holding my breath especially with everything I've been hearing.
ReplyDeleteI don't know if it's been posted here but regarding what KC said about Laurel and her journey and actually becoming Sara and honoring her that way was really disheartening to hear because that's not what honoring someone is about. Not only that, but Laurel fooling Quentin (even if it's by accident) by posing as the Canary is just 50000 shades of wrong right there and makes Laurel look worse.
Anyways, back to the main point. I was hoping before the season started that Laurel would forge her own path and not try to become like her sister, but that's not what KC said which is terrible and so weird... Regardless, in the end Laurel becoming a vigilante is definitely NOT what Sara would want. How in the world could she honor Sara by doing the exact opposite of what she wanted?! It's just baffling to me and makes no sense whatsoever which makes me side eye her motivation for being a vigilante because she did do good work as a Lawyer by putting people away in the court room (episode 1 of this season proved that).
I feel like her character arc was the weakest for this season because Laurel used to be more complex. Now she's just an angry caricature in a mask. But that's just my opinion.
I have stopped giving importance to anything coming out of the mouth of KC and MG. KC usually says things which is far away from what I take away from the show and MG is just a troll. It doesn't matter what they say in interviews what matters is what is shown on screen. So no I don't care about what KC says.
ReplyDeleteOver all I am a bit bored by season 3 of Arrow and BC/Laurel is only one of the problem. Don't get me wrong. This is still one of my favorite show and I love the characters to bits. Even with the bad motivation for Slade in season 2 it was more exciting. Him being a villain in both flashbacks and current times raised the stakes very high. This season we don't actually know who is the villain here. Is Team Arrow fighting against Malcolm or Ra's? Thea's story line which I was most excited about along with Felicity's back story (which was a bit of a let down as it did not have any over arching consequences) is almost stagnant from episode 3 onwards. ATOM would have been wonderful even with stalkerish tendencies if they had avoided the romance angle with Felicity and built a solid friendship between the two.
Sara's death mystery was interesting for one episode. After that it was the rehash of the same. Laurel's motivation for fighting is as boring as Slade's. If it is revenge she wants then what is she doing to find the identity of Sara's killer? Why are we not seeing her looking at the evidence or going out and questioning people in the streets? She should at least have an evidence board like Barry Allen had. Now they say Laurel puts on the mask in episode 10 because a new villain is there and it is all hands on deck. Fair enough.. But why should we believe this new villain is this dangerous. They should have introduced Brick earlier this season for us to fear him. Or they should have used Vertigo again. The thing that irks me the most is Laurel getting a suit made in 3 days of Oliver's disappearance.
Honestly I think they could have gone on with the same story for Laurel without the costume. Put her in a situation where she is in her civilian self and has to step up and fight with Digg and Roy to save a bunch of people. Then let her go out with them at night in a ski mask to help them. By the end of the season she could have her uniform. This feels like (from the interviews and synopsis) Laurel is playing dress up as Sara. I am still hoping they will surprise me and make me like this arc.
Over all I am bored. I might part with Arrow at the end of this season or put it in binge watch category if my interest is not peaked. Few good characters won't keep my interest if the overall story line is boring.
BTW thank you for recommending FNL. I saw the series. Only one more season to go. So many familiar actors.. Adrienne Palicki, Taylor Kitsch, Amy Teegarden, Minka Kelly, Scott Porter, Gaius Charles, even Patrick J Adams of Suits... I was more excited about spotting all these actors. LOL. It is a great show. Coach Taylor and Tammy are awesome. Saw Witches of East end too. Now started on Nikita.. I kept my distance from Arrow fandom and started new shows. It helped me keep my sanity. :p
That kind of sucks, a lot
