    I kinda dig that goth look, also it's pretty effective as a cover. With Oliver all you need is to take a peek under his hood. With Laurel you now have absolutely no idea that it could be her. The black/white contrast elevates it from her usual look

    She looks too harsh and her mask is kind of like that of Barry Allen doesn't cover particularly anything. I would have liked the shaded eyes and lighter lipstick look. As if covering the identity is of any importance in this show. Ha!

    yeah i miss Oliver too but my favorite character happens to be Felicity Smoak so *cough cough* there is no way im not watching these episodes(i would still watch if Felicity wasnt part for some episodes though)

    Yes thank you! His hood has been bothering me since episode 1. It annoyed me for some reason but I didn't really know what. I told myself maybe because it's leather and looks different from Oliver's and I just need some time to get used to it.

    Glad I'm not the only one, it appears to be too large and kind of....bulky. It's a different material so I guess that why the hood looks so awkward.

    I actually dislike Roy's and Laurel's costume. Not completely but some parts. Both have this shine and buckles that irritate me. Roy's hood the way it starts from the center of his chest and flares out ... it is very unflattering on CH. Apart from buckles and shine everything about BC costume is very cool.

    They look too overloaded IMO, Roy has all these belt buckles around his legs (I cracked up when I saw that full body shot in "The Magician")


    Olivers costume, Huntress, Canary and the LOA armor (btw. Merlyn needs to get himself his own suit soon...) are a lot more simple but still look better. Not as gimmicky

    Maybe it's the material but the hood design itself looks kinda ridiculous. If Dig can go around without any masks then sure Roy can get rid of the hood and wear the mask only.

    Very true. As the show gets bigger they are throwing too many stuff into these costumes. I loved Sara's costume (not the chest part) with the fishnet design on the legs. Such a cool nod to the comic books and her mask. The most beautiful mask on the show. Also the jacket.
    I love Oliver's and Huntress too but Sara's was my favorite.

    Also Laurel is there as ADA. May she will also help. In the synopsis it was said when ray helps the police against Brick Felicity sees him in a different light. Producers have said she is really against Ray trying to play hero first and this incident maybe changes that opinion.


    Also from the interviews it looks like they have dropped the romantic aspect of their relationship. Thank god for small mercies if that is true. I wouldn't mind if Felicity does all the techno mumbo jumbo to make ATOM suit.

    IMO Colton has the perfect hair to style, it's not light or thin and stays in form. Same goes for Wesley.

    I hate Ray whether he is dating Felicity or not (which thank God that he won't), there are a lot of reasons but now is not the time to discuss them, that's why I don't want him to be the big hero who saves the day in Oliver's absence. Besides I'm very protective of Oliver so every time he takes something of Oliver's it makes me hate him even more. She can help him upgrade his suit I don't mind but I don't want him to be the big hero helping the police.

    The Black Canary costume IS effective at disguising her identity though, It's suprising what a wig and domino mask can do.

    we may have it easier with shaving and the lack of makeup BUT if you have to handle little to nothing on your own it's rather off putting to deal with one issue along.

    Sometimes some characters rub you the wrong way. Personally I don't mind Ray. I am not in love with him. He is just plain okay. He serves the purpose of being this guy who wants to be a hero and is ready to be in a relationship with Felicity. That's it.

    During episode 1 and 2 I was annoyed. Especially him buying the company. Then I decided in ep 5 he is a self absorbed douchey but intelligent guy who looks at Felicity as a resource. Kind of Tony Stark lite. Then I started feeling better about him. He started looking at Felicity at a romantic light only after her speech in ep 7 imo. Any way he is not too important of a character for me to hate.

    I would actually criticize the editing departement for that not the crew. The oversaturated yellow filter kills the illusion, If they added some less warmer tones it'd work. But as it is it looks fairly faked.


    btw. they could easily sell the illusion with some simple set extentions of Hong-Kongs skyline but they apparently chose not to for some reason

    You tried attack on Titan? Also there are some really good abridge work out there. I know it sounds crazy, but anything from Teamfourstar, is hilarious, very true to the show's plot (while trimming filler) and well voiced.

    I had the unfortunate luck to suffer under a completely incompetend european DJ once, dude looked like Skrillex and in return had the skills of a kitten playing football. He kept playing "Bonfire" in a loop, at one point some guys even tried to drag him from the stage to make it stop

    If he was strictly her boss and she never showed any signs of liking him romantically and he bribed her with expensive clothes and jewelry to go to dinner with him after working out shirtless at the office, yeah I would. Say what you want about Oliver but he always treated her with respect and sure he was a horrible CEO but he was professional. He didn't turn his office into a gym!

    I heard a lot of good stuff about it but the last few animes I enjoyed were the CG animated Resident Evil movies (still anime due to the style). But I couldn't sit through the sheer cheese that was the Dragon Age anime.


    I'll have to try it some day, isn't there a live action film coming out based on Attack on Titan anyway? Guess I'll watch the anime before that one comes out

    That's unfortunate. Of all the shippers I've ever encountered theory ones I can never stomach are Destiel, Sterek and Jisbon shippers. The first two because if you point out the characters aren't gay and aren't careful in your phrasing call you homophobic (I'm many things but I am not that) and super intense all the time. The second well I just don't like Jisbon.

    I never saw any romantic sparks between them and if you are talking about their scene in the store she was just being friendly. But then again chemistry is subjective so maybe you thought there was something going on between them but for me their scenes feel really forced. And that's enough about that topic.

    If those weren't Japanese made they technically aren't anime. I suggest you try the Avatar franchise it's audience is kid friendly, but it's very mature, with deep themes like redemption, pacifism and honour. Beautifully animated. Well-written, plotted and has great voice acting and action. And has a rich mythology and world.

    I generally don't talk about TV with others because it's IMO kinda embarassing (I would never dare to tell anyone that I even know what TO is) but in this situation she even started it. Not really a comfortable situation, especially when you're partially drunk and are either motivated to completely jump into it by saying "Yeah these two aren't going to happen" or just starting to make out with that person. I chose neither and just awkwardly made my way to other friends
