I was not sure I saw what I thought I saw because of the quality of the vid; apparently I did. That is completely out of the blue. Should be interesting though.
Well DJ Douchebag became whole lot more interesting. But I still put forward murder by very painful method because he annoyed me during his introduction.
It's been a while since Arrow has managed to shock me in a somewhat good way, so that's good I suppose. But we've got Malcolm drugging Thea to murder people, now she's got an undercover LOA DJ on her hands. Can Thea get some agency in her own story please? This is a bad trend.
I can't wait until she learns the truth......she won't handle it well.....she already been lied to a few times can she handle someone who is a spy and don't care about her......
SOB!!!!! DJ Douchebag is actually a part of the mythology? WOW!!! he's still a jackass and needs to die by Oliver and Merlyn's hands (i still hate him but still) and (i would say Roy too but i don't want him to ever kill again but if anyone deserves killing it's this girl haired douchebag)
Haha no I actually like Roy (10000 times better than this guy) I just thought it was funny how arrow shieldsfan said that the guy acted like a douchebag to get close to Thea...like shouldn't that have the opposite effect lol?
They don't need an ad. They're the most prestigious assassin university in the world. Now if only they could beat Apokolips State's Furries in the annual murder 50 civilians in 24 hours competition.
ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Annoyong Dj os double playing them. That's why Malcom wants to leave with Thea?. I didnt see that one coming. He is not gonna last very long
I think you could argue that Roy grew out of being a d-bag. But he was a purse-snatching, lying, manipulative, temperamental, criminal d-bag when we met him and for quite a while thereafter. The only thing the DJ has done is act cocky and kiss Thea. Roy was robbing convenience stores, but every comic nerd knew who he was going to become, so he was forgiven initially for his future potential. DJ hasn't had that grace cause nobody knows who he is.
I'm never feeling bad for Thea regarding Malcolm. She chose that. She had a father in Robert she could remember. She had a surrogate father in Walter who offered to take her in. She had Oliver who wanted to take care of her. She chose Malcolm, knowing full well the pain he had brought to her family, his actions regarding his own son, and his actions against the city.
Eh dj is worse. DJ walks in with his whole "I'm too cool for everyone else attitude" and then he has the ridiculous dj plot line and then kisses Thea, his boss and someone he barely knows for no reason. Plus he doesn't wash his hair.
I agree about Malcolm. Thea knew what she was getting into there.
I hope it's Thea who does said ripping. Makes her character more dark and more interesting - taking decisions on her own rather than being Malcolm's puppet.
Why the frack reveal such a spoiler in a promo? But then again these foreign promos are always this spoilery even with other shows - so I guess, I can't complain much.
Why would they give that away in a promo? Just seems silly. Not surprised though. But can Thea be the one to take him out? I wanna see her in a fight with actual stakes, not just practicing with Merlyn or that mini fight with Oliver where we knew he wouldn't actually hurt her.
Oops, my bad! :) Yeah I remember, now. I just caught up (this morning) with all the spoilers for Arrow, The 100 and The Flash that came in over the past 5 or 6 days, so I might be a bit confused. :D
Not an excuse. Nope. I'm very disappointed in you smh. You forgot seeing Oliver? Not acceptable smh, hahahahahaha. I haven't seen the last episode of The 100 yet, after "Left Behind" I needed some time to recover before crying over another girl losing the man she loves, the CW is on a roll lol at least Oliver is OK. I haven't seen you in a few days. Everything alright?
She somehow STILL hasn't figured out that Oliver is GA, and she's just fine being buds with her psychopathic mass murderer of a father. The writers have already made her look like a fool. Frankly this is A LOT easier to buy than either of those other things.
Of course. :) I've been a bit busy last week (RL got some much needed attention ;) ), avoided most of the articles to not getting spoiled too much, that's why I haven't commented for some time, and finally managed to watch all three winter premiere episodes this past weekend.
The Flash was great and to some extend lighthearted (*sigh of relief*), Arrow also great but otherwise the complete opposite (*sigh of despair*), and The 100... was The 100. (*sigh of ?* I can't describe it) Awesome as ever. Eliza Taylor is simply amazing in this episode. And with one of the main characters they are going down a path that (if it's going really really bad) makes me worry about almost everyone...
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! Major spoiler!!!!!!! I thought DJ was Malcolm's minion! Didn't expect him to be LoA. I assume via him Ra will find out that Thea killed Sara. Nandu Parbat has good Cell reception! ^_^
Exactly. She said "they fear her" meaning they are afraid of the Canary. Diggle pointed out that it was Sara they feared and not the alter ego per se. Laurel is hoping to utilize the fear factor when she is about to fight someone which is a good reasoning from her part.
Roy was never a really bad guy. He defended Thea, gave the purse back, and tried to help and protect other people. That's condescending (just because we know what happens? Real nice.) Yeah because she knew he'd drug her and make her kill. Really? I still wonder why you watch this show, besides Oliver (and maybe Dig and Felicity) you seem to hate every character and plot point.
maybe, but speaking of Laurel fighting, she's training in boxing she doesn't know how to fight with a Bo Staff so why use it? i guess to keep up the ruse of her being The Canary?
Douche? Yes. But I think the purpose was for him to act like a douche. It's "cool" to some people.
Moron? What exactly was shown to suggest he's a moron with his one-episode appearance? In fact, he was far more capable in a DJ-role than anyone else in the episode he appeared in. Moron is a stretch.
Hrm...perhaps he could still be Joe Wilson and ended up running away from home and became a member of the League of Assassins. Now that would be one wild reunion when Slade returns.
I don't think he's Joe but characters that don't exist in comics like Sara were/are members of the League. I think this guy is just some new character they made a member for the story's sake.
Well, part of me still think he is Joe because it just fits, really...he looks a lot of Joe Wilson when the character was first introduced with the long blonde hair, and he's a DJ in Arrow as how Joe was a musical prodigy in the comics. Joe also has an ability to mentally control people through eye contact and on Arrow, Chase definitely showed off some charm around Thea in his introduction episode.
But then again, the idea of him being in contact with the LoA certainly says otherwise and Chase could indeed be a newly-created character just for the show.
Ehhh, I read your comment wrong, lol. But I am not necessarily saying 'wild' as in they'll hate each other....they could be happy that they're "like father, like son".
Stupid RL getting in the way of our shows lol I saw Left behind a day later so I had to stay away from STV, Facebook and Tumblr for one day and it was torture.
The Flash was awesome and I'm so happy Joe and Barry are living together now. I can watch those two forever. Arrow was,,,, let's move one I don't want to start crying again :( but you know seeing Oliver wake up at the end really helped. It made the episode hurt less. Haven't seen the episode yet so I don't understand what you mean. But what you said sounds interesting (and a little terrifying)
This is actually good news about the DJ. Since this guy is liked with the LoA, Thea can kill the useless little dink when the time comes. The sooner the better, I say.
I didn't say he as a bad guy. I said he was a d-bag. And he only gave the purse back when he got caught. And he only changed to trying to help people after the Arrow saved him. He started out as a jerk, yelling at everyone because he couldn't control his anger. And if we didn't know, he was going to change and end up part of the team, we wouldn't have put up with it, just as we aren't putting up with DJ nonsense. Because there was nothing likable about his initial characterization. It's not condescending it's my read of the how things went down. But hey, maybe i just have opinions about the show and only watch it to piss you off.
Who says she'd be comfortable with it? If (and we don't know where this storyline is going so this is definitely a big if) she does kill him, it could be in self defense or to protect Oliver or Malcolm, or it could be accidental in the midst of a fight. And if she does kill him, I have faith in the writers that they would handle the fall out well and show her dealing with the consequences. Just like they did with Oliver enacting and his struggles with the no kill rule. Just because she kills him (which may not even happen) doesn't mean she would do it so easily or as you say comfortably. I just wanna see Thea come into her own and start putting her training into use. And eventually that could mean taking someone out.
Based on what I've seen of circulation figures for comic books, I'm guessing most of the viewership aren't comic book readers any more than the people who watch AoS or go see the Avengers. I wouldn't let non-comic book readers surprise you.
It would really be easier to have a conversation with you if you had ever understood what I was saying originally about my opinion of comic books. I'm getting pretty frustrated with you continuing to misconstrue my meaning in pretty much every post all while inflating my initial statement. ::sigh::
Pretty much. I mean, it would seem fitting. Even through not my his means, Slade went away to find his "calling", Joe ended up doing the same by going to Nanda Parbat to find his.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Warning before people watch it, there's a relatively big spoiler in there lol. (I know this is spoilertv though :P )
ReplyDeleteOh this promo shows the function of a certain character, which I totally did not expect. I kinda look forward to seeing said character now. haha :)
ReplyDeleteI was not sure I saw what I thought I saw because of the quality of the vid; apparently I did. That is completely out of the blue. Should be interesting though.
ReplyDeleteI knew it!! I knew that DJ Douchebag was up to no good and was connected to the LOA. Ohhh, this just makes Chase SO much more interesting now.
ReplyDeleteYES
ReplyDeleteone more reason for Malcolm to rip DJ Douches head off! (let's not act like this isn't what we wanted all along)
btw. Ra's, you should totally upgrade your DJ/soundedit teaching methods because you really failed brah
The DJ being part of the League doesn't change the matter that he is a douche and a moron and he deserves to die... painfully...
ReplyDeleteagreed! Malcolm needs to kill him painfully lol.
ReplyDeleteI sure Merlyn will figure out the DJ is a spy for LOA...... kill him no torture him yes since he might want to sent a message back to ra's
ReplyDeleteI don't expect him to last long......he will be killed by Meryln or LOA to get rid of any loose ends
ReplyDeleteI rarely condone murder....okay that's a lie...but in his case I would advice a dark haired psychopath to go more even more psycho than usual
ReplyDeleteOr Oliver
Or Diggle
Or Felicity
Or Laurel
Or anyone that deletes DJ Douche off the map
You can't torture what has been turned numb to pain due to it's attrocious DJ skills
ReplyDelete"You have failed my nightlife"
ReplyDeleteWell DJ Douchebag became whole lot more interesting. But I still put forward murder by very painful method because he annoyed me during his introduction.
ReplyDeleteOh I know. I'm so rooting for Malcolm to execute him. Whether it be stabbed by a sword or pierced by an arrow is fine by me :)
ReplyDeleteunless he purposely pretend to be douche when he is actually smart and just trying to get close to Thea
ReplyDeleteIn my book, pretending to be a douche makes you a stupid douche. And seriously where did he learned to be a DJ?!
ReplyDeleteThea has a thing for douchebag, huh? :P
ReplyDeleteOh, I guess I am a member of the LOA.
ReplyDeleteIt's been a while since Arrow has managed to shock me in a somewhat good way, so that's good I suppose. But we've got Malcolm drugging Thea to murder people, now she's got an undercover LOA DJ on her hands. Can Thea get some agency in her own story please? This is a bad trend.
ReplyDeleteWhat does that say about Thea. She looked like a fool that episode.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait until she learns the truth......she won't handle it well.....she already been lied to a few times can she handle someone who is a spy and don't care about her......
ReplyDeleteSO! is he a Wilson or just the first teenage League member
ReplyDeleteor both LOL
ReplyDeletehey are you saying that Roy's a douchebag? how could you
ReplyDeletelike Roy? he loves her and i know she still loves him
ReplyDeleteSOB!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWhoooooa! I honestly did not see this one coming.
ReplyDeleteHaha no I actually like Roy (10000 times better than this guy) I just thought it was funny how arrow shieldsfan said that the guy acted like a douchebag to get close to Thea...like shouldn't that have the opposite effect lol?
ReplyDeleteLol after the stupid introduction his character had he needs to die honestly.
ReplyDeleteHaha Thea is getting played...again. She has the worst taste in people.
ReplyDeleteSo he's a spy for Ra's. Now I get why he might have been written as a tool.
ReplyDeleteWell at least she was right about Roy.
ReplyDeletegotta celebrate the occasion brah, play "Freaks" on reppppeeeaaaat dddewwwdddeee
ReplyDeleteShe has the worst people around her tbh. No person in her life is without blood on their hands
ReplyDeleteAt least Roy and Oliver are actually good people. And Moira was in the end. But yeah she keeps getting shafted.
ReplyDeleteEven Ray (though that'd make little sense).
ReplyDeleteThey don't need an ad. They're the most prestigious assassin university in the world. Now if only they could beat Apokolips State's Furries in the annual murder 50 civilians in 24 hours competition.
ReplyDeleteHe met a man in Nanda Parbat.
ReplyDeleteXXX?
ReplyDeleteit could be money or something valuable in exchange for his services
ReplyDeleteohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Annoyong Dj os double playing them. That's why Malcom wants to leave with Thea?. I didnt see that one coming. He is not gonna last very long
ReplyDeleteShe has the entire cast around her...so you're saying the cast is the worst?
ReplyDeleteI think you could argue that Roy grew out of being a d-bag. But he was a purse-snatching, lying, manipulative, temperamental, criminal d-bag when we met him and for quite a while thereafter. The only thing the DJ has done is act cocky and kiss Thea. ReplyDeleteWait, what?! :O
ReplyDeleteHaha. I didn't say better or worse, just that they were both d-bags. You think Roy ever washed his hoody? :-)
ReplyDelete"I found myself in a place called Nanda Parbat. I met a man there. He showed me how to connect an iPod and listen to a playlist".
ReplyDeletePlot Twist: It was David Gueta, who is the big bad for Season 4.
That spoiler tho!! I like it
ReplyDelete"They fear me" "they fear your sister" I'm living for the Laurel/Digg scenes tbh
My money is on Thea dispatching him.
ReplyDeleteoh ok but why is it XXX and not $?
ReplyDeletei thought Laurel said "her" as in The Canary not "her" as in Laurel
ReplyDeleteWhy would they give that away in a promo? Just seems silly. Not surprised though. But can Thea be the one to take him out? I wanna see her in a fight with actual stakes, not just practicing with Merlyn or that mini fight with Oliver where we knew he wouldn't actually hurt her.
ReplyDeleteWow! That is something I didn't expect, not at all...
ReplyDeleteI really hope this asshole will die. Sooner rather than later.
ReplyDeleteLOL.
ReplyDeleteshe's the purest of them all, don't you think she should stay that way?
ReplyDeletewithout killing him right?
ReplyDeleteYou what's weird? The promo didn't have a single shot of Oliver!
ReplyDeleteWell, now that you mention it... :) We'll see him in a few Hong Kong flashbacks, I suppose, so not "worth" to be shown, maybe...
ReplyDeleteNo we will see him in present too remember the CW promo showed him talking to Maseo and Tatsu.
ReplyDeleteOops, my bad! :) Yeah I remember, now. I just caught up (this morning) with all the spoilers for Arrow, The 100 and The Flash that came in over the past 5 or 6 days, so I might be a bit confused. :D

ReplyDeleteNormally this site is good about that, even though spoilers don't ruin anything for me though.
ReplyDeleteMeh, don't really care if Thea kills him, but she needs to kick his ass. I wanna see her fighting skills put in action.
ReplyDeleteDouche? Yes. But I think the purpose was for him to act like a douche. It's "cool" to some people.

ReplyDeleteIt's an Asian promo they obviously don't care lol
ReplyDeletei don't want her to become comfortable with killing
ReplyDeletewhy? they're both psychopaths
ReplyDeleteJoe isn't a known LoA member in the comics.
ReplyDeleteGo to bed. Sleep. Get up and try to get the joke again... I'm just talking random s**t like always xD
ReplyDeleteYou will notice when i'm serious... This time i'm not. Everytime the DJ appears in comments i make fun of him... People laugh about that...
Tbh, we just saw him only for 2 minutes...
I don't think he's Joe but characters that don't exist in comics like Sara were/are members of the League. I think this guy is just some new character they made a member for the story's sake.

ReplyDeleteIt was a joke?
ReplyDeleteI usually laugh at something that's actually funny.
Yeah, it could be it, I couldn't hear clearly. But yes, the gist is that she was referring as the canary as an icon
ReplyDeleteThose might be the most painfull words womeone ever told me... :(
ReplyDeleteStupid RL getting in the way of our shows lol I saw Left behind a day later so I had to stay away from STV, Facebook and Tumblr for one day and it was torture.

ReplyDeleteI didn't say he as a bad guy. I said he was a d-bag. And he only gave the purse back when he got caught. And he only changed to trying to help people after the Arrow saved him. ReplyDeleteLol I bet that's why you watch it. Jk. Though I still am oddly fascinated by your opinions/ watching of this show given your opinion of comicbooks.
ReplyDeleteWho says she'd be comfortable with it? If (and we don't know where this storyline is going so this is definitely a big if) she does kill him, it could be in self defense or to protect Oliver or Malcolm, or it could be accidental in the midst of a fight. ReplyDeleteIt would really be easier to have a conversation with you if you had ever understood what I was saying originally about my opinion of comic books. I'm getting pretty frustrated with you continuing to misconstrue my meaning in pretty much every post all while inflating my initial statement. ::sigh::
ReplyDeleteoh okay, it's just you made it sound like you wanted her to become a cold-blooded murderer, sorry
ReplyDeleteoh ok, but i meant they're well villains
ReplyDeleteyep wouldn't surprise me
ReplyDeleteSorry, that was a fail on me. I read the comment wrong and I have no idea why, lol.
ReplyDeletePretty much. I mean, it would seem fitting. Even through not my his means, Slade went away to find his "calling", Joe ended up doing the same by going to Nanda Parbat to find his.
ReplyDeleteIt's not easy to have one with you either. If that helps.
ReplyDelete
