    Hmm, so John, Emily and Colton have counted down so far. If we're going by the theme of "Oliver is Dead" and those "Left Behind" shall we asume Willa, Katie and David are left?

    Well, Katie should be the last one... Especially since this is the character everyone is most looking forward, even if you like it or not. The one with the most buzz.


    I guess next is David Ramsey and Katie Cassidy will be the last one.

    Well, i don't like Laurel... yet i want to see how it's gonna play out, tbh. For better or worst, she is the character that gets most buzz on the media for this episode.
    My comment wasn't a matter of like or dislike, like i claimed.

    Nop, but it should be David next and Katie being the last one... One thing that strikes me is "how much can they re-use S2 promotional footage?". Right now Arrow is their top returning show and they didn't do any promotional effort... Every bit of the money of that department seemed to go on a "flashy" direction...

    Seriously I can't keep thinking "poor baby" every time we see a new sneak peek. I'm waaay too invested emotionally :/
    They HAVE to tell Thea not only to honour Oliver who died for her but to save her from Malcolm's control too. Beacuse only the truth will finally make her realize how stupid and naive she has been. Although it will be very painful and interesting to see her reaction when she realizes that the man she trusted and and chose over her brother used her to kill a very close friend because he wanted to save his own skin.

    I think she will find out in 3.11. My theory is she will start to become suspicious of Malcolm once he tries to take her away from Starling and then she will come to know.

    I think the producers have been drumming up buzz on her character in order for people to get excited about it. I don't think that buzz is coming from viewers, necessarily.

    That's my point. For the producers this is THE LAUREL LANCE episode, this is the episode that solves all the problems. Will it work? Who knows... But that's the intention.
    If she becomes BC and the people still doesn't like her(and i mean the ones who doesn't like the character for good reasons, not just because of "Olicity") then that's it... they won't change their minds anymore.
    Marc Guggenheim said some interesting stuff on Tumblr. The Laurel/Ted interactions should have been more(even a romantic relationship was in the works) but the guy landed a regular gig on another show and they couldn't count on him anymore. I now think that's why they showed the "Don't tell daddy storyline" intead of being something unspoken: the pan they had went to hell and they needed to do something else.
    How you solve this? You make her Black Canary yet show her as the weakest link. But now you let her train with Oliver, Diggle and Roy too. That way you get back to the proper storyline for Laurel: show her training.
    I think JR Ramirez's exit was why they rushed the Black Canary story. They must show her train, yet they can't if the actor isn't available.

    I now think that "don't tell daddy" story was just done because Ramirez got a regular gig on another show. Marc said they had to scrap the whole Laurel/Ted relationship because of that(he even was gonna become a love interest for her). How you show her training if you don't have the actor who teachs her? Then what do you do with her story?


    That's also why i think they rushed her becoming Black Canary now and not on sweeps. She now can train with Oliver, Digg and Roy and put her on the right path again. She has to tell Quentin once he start seeing Canary fighting alongside Arrow and Arsenal.


    That character is just pissed by a dinosaur...

    I think they should just recast Ted Grant it the best way to continue Laurel training.......if they recast sara actress this should not be a problem

    Can't wait for this episode !!!

    I know it's a ways off but I am excited to see what goes 'down' in 2x13 / "Canaries" !

    I'm personally hoping it is revealed that either Nyssa or Ra's himself had Sara dug up moments after she was buried by her fellow League of Assassins members and brought to the Lazarus Pit where she was brought back from death.

    Going forward we would see mentally unhinged Sara aka The Canary going head to head with her 'stable' sister Laurel aka The Black Canary at every turn, not only to try and save her from the League's clutches but to right all of the wrongs she is now involved with.

    Hmmm since her pic of black canary is the most faved and retweeted picture on the official FB, and one of the most liked and shared pics on FB I'd say lots are looking forward to her BC story.

    Well Stephen said at TCAs that he still hasnt worked with Canary. They were already filming episode 15 by then So i dont know if she will become part of the team. I dont think they want Canary to be trained by Oliver because of the expectations of comic fans.

    Since the episode involves Peter Stormare's Count Vertigo v2.0 and Laurel most likely getting a dose of the same stuff that had Oliver fighting himself in the premiere. I think Sara will be a hallucination.

    He kept saying i know nothing about her when asked how KC is as Black Canary during the interview with access Hollywood at the TCAs. He was seen in his Arrow suit during shooting for 3x13.

    I know a few GA fans who already have an issue with Laurel getting the name in the span of 3 episodes while Oliver is still only the Arrow. And none of them are a fan of BC becoming a side-kick. None of them believe this BC could ever become the BC they loved in the comics.

    Yeah, well... Laurel is a made up character. She is nothing like Dinah. But that is dumb; because if we're going for that, then Stephen Amell is a horrible Oliver Queen and Arrow is a horrible interpretation of Green Arrow. Green Arrow isn't this dark... It doesn't matter he "Still isn't GA yet", because the world just isn't the same.


    People must let the show be it's own thing. You know how bad a show/movie would be if we made a 1:1 translation? Just the underdeveloped suporting characters alone... Like i said, i should have a problem because the comics are turning into the show(And yet people are worried about stupid things like Oliver ending up with Laurel because of canon). Laurel is a horrible Dinah, but she isn't Dinah. She is Arrow's Laurel.


    The show is an action serial based on the characters published by DC Comics. That means you have Oliver Queen who is a vigilante named Green Arrow that uses a bow and arrow. Well, that's it. Then you make your own Oliver Queen. The same is with Laurel.


    Henry Cavill's Clark Kent in Man of Steele was a horrible Superman by that line of thought. But i enjoyed the movie because it showed a more real Supes, a less perfect one, more human.


    Comicbook readers can be a bit winey sometimes... You have the cool ones like me who believe in the "let the comics be comics, the movies be movies and the series be series" and then the morons like my friends with who you can't watch Arrow/Flash/any movie with because they just don't stop complaining about all the "mistakes".


    Want to talk about Arrow's Ray Palmer? That is another league... The truth is he is Ted Kord/Blue Beetle with another name. That was like murdering someone. I remember the two days complains... We went to a bar and at one point they were all talking about f**kboy Palmer... I wanted to die... i had to scream like a crazy person in order to them to change conversation.


    This went too much off-topic Jajajaja Sorry! Oh, and about Stephen, one thing is he been seen "on set" filming and another is he can talk about it openly on tv.

    Lol i know Oliver Queen is nothing like the one in the comics but his story/development is at least somewhat believable in this TV universe. And people i know are OK with it, but what they object is that Laurel on the show is being compared to the BC in the comics. Which BC fans are insisting is going to happen now that Laurel got her suit. The fingerless gloves still bother me. Maybe they will have Quenting learned the truth that way.

    The issue is also that we also havent seen KC in her BC costume either from the time they filmed 3x12/3x13. So anything is possible.

    Well, i always said it was a posibility that she stop using it after 3x12 because she's not ready to play in the big leagues yet and we will see her putting it again on 3x23 or maybe she will end up going with Nyssa to Nanda Parbat. Maybe we will se her train with her from 4x01 to 4x09 and then return.


    A lot of interviews told us she is the weakes link and she won't be ready... So i'm ok now, more calmed. Now we just need to see how it plays out. She could be "Yeah, i'm the Black Canary" and then by 3x12 be all "Well, guess i'm not ready". Don't see the problem with that, she is aknowledging what they know.


    And oh yes, his story is cohesive in the show. But he is more like Batman than Green Arrow, and i'm not just talking about the personality but the world alone, the atmosphere and just how gloomy is...
