So I guess they will ask him to go find out if Oliver is ok and he finds the sword and tells them that Oliver is dead since the sword is there and it's Ra's's (why does Ra's's look grammatically wrong?) custom to leave the instrument of death to honour the fallen. I have a feeling Malcolm already knows and that he was there watching the fight from afar. Mainly because I don't trust a word that man says but also because he looks extra evil in that scene.
This is torture CW, you and your short sneak peeks will drive me to crazy. I hope we get a long clip soon. This episode will have sad feelings and grieves all over it, I hope we can survive it.
When? This is a SHORT CLIP. I wasn't expecting to have my eyes half filled with a 5 second clip. That's the power of Felicity. Lol But I already said I'd be crying until Oliver returns. Hell my heart still aches when I think, talk, or watch the finale.
Yesterday! I told you that I'm not ready to see the clips because they will make me cry and you said "This wait was unbearable. It may kill me, but it's so worth the tears. I don't want a Brick, or YKW scene. I'll take a Roy, Diggle, Quentin, Malcolm scene and be happy. I just need new scenes to think about!" Don't remind me plz because I was seriously depressed after the finale and I'll probably start crying again on January 22 and won't stop until Oliver comes back :( this season is killing me :\
Breaks my heart. Felicity and Diggle's reactions are going to kill me. I'm looking forward to everything else in this arc, but I wish I didn't have to see this part. So sad.
Already it feels too much is happening. Malcolm meets Team Arrow before they know Oliver is dead, He gets the sword, again he meets with Team Arrow to give the news, they react, Digg gives news to Laurel, Brick, Digg and Roy face Brick and fails, Malcolm Thea scene, Laurel suiting up and fight and there will be some flashbacks happening. It looks rushed.
I asked Marc Guggenheim on tumblr about this. I told him Arrow cave looks like a place villains come to have a good time. Slade, Malcolm, Nyssa, LoA, Captain Boomerang, Cupid and maybe even Clock King know of its location. And the two good guys Quentin and Thea (who comes to the club everyday) has no idea. I can see them all holding meetings and trading secrets there. I asked him if there is any chance of a location change for Arrow cave. Of course he did not reply :p
Why would they ask Malcolm to check on Oliver? They might ask him for location of the place where Oliver went. But anything more I can't see happening. May be Malcolm will volunteer his services.
Was 3x09 rushed? I did not think it was rushed. It felt like that because previous episode was completely independent of the over arching storyline. If this episode has the pacing of 3x09 then I will be happy.
I have a feeling in this scene Malcolm shows up and surprises them at the foundry asking for Oliver's whereabouts. If it was Team Arrow contacting him they will never call him in the foundry. They would go where he is and ask him. I have a very bad feeling about all this Team Arrow and Malcolm interactions. He wants something from them. I think he wants to use them to control the city.
No it wasn't rushed. There was too many things happening at once and I agree every story took its time but some scenes needed more time imo, like the fight scene, don't get me wrong it was great but it ended so fast and Oliver and Dig's goodbye was so underwhelming, and Quentin was in it for like 2 minutes.
You know, I can ignore the fact that every criminal in Starling can find the foundry so easily these days but how do they get past the security code!!!!! It really bugs me :\ And doesn't that foundry have an alarm system??? Anywaaaay, at this point I'm kinda hoping that Malcolm is trying to control the city or even take over the league, anything to justify his actions because otherwise he is just being evil for the fun of it.
Laurel suiting up would always be too rushed. And I don't think too much stuff is happening. I think all the Brick stuff will be happening in the background in episode 10. Then Team Arrow will find out about his plan by the end of the episode making Laurel suit up (which I think will be the last scene).
What else could they do with Quentin in that episode. They are keeping him in the dark regarding the Sara issue so he just could get the token appearance making us know once again he doesn't know. The thing that irked me was the Thea/Laurel scene in the cemetery. It was so bad and done only to drive home to us the fact that Thea was mind controlled and has no idea about the Sara situation. Or they thought that scene would make us gasp in surprise when Oliver watch the video. It was really unnecessary. They could have used that time to let Digg and Oliver has some quality time.
I really liked the fight between Ra's and Oliver. It made sense it would be short. Ra's is too powerful to fight too long with Oliver. Oliver actually looked like an amateur in front of Ra's. So no complaints there.
No comments on the Laurel situation until the episode airs. Everything has been said already. I hope it is not too crowded and they take time with each characters to make us feel their emotions especially Digg and Felicity's. And I hope just in this episode they don't devote too much time to Ray. Next episode onwards its cool. He needs development.
Malcolm actually owns that building, so it makes sense that he of all people would be able to get there. The stupidity of having your base of operations in a building you a) do not own that is b) owned by a criminal who is drugging your sister is stupid, but...well, Malcolm does hold the deed.
I love Quentin so I'm angry that we don't get to see him a lot this season. OK fine he doesn't know about Sara so he can't be involved in that story but give him something else to do beside drinking coffee at the precinct all day!
I agree with you about the Thea/Laurel scene; It was so unnecessary and didn't affect the story at all. When I saw it I didn't make me think "oh my God that must mean she is the killer, it hurts too much" and it didn't make me think "see? She didn't know. She is clearly not the killer!" I didn't make any sense of that scene at all at the time. Maybe they wanted an emotional scene between those two to remind us that they are friends so we could feel Laurel's pain when she finds out that Thea killed Sara?
Dig and Oliver deserved a better goodbye than just a silent handshake. Roy got a hug and Oliver asked him to take care or Thea and Dig got a handshake! Really?! He didn't deserve any words of any kind?
Of course Ra's was going to win come on it's Ra's! and let's not forget that Oliver just climbed a mountain (they didn't even expect him to survive the climb), that's one of the reasons why the fight ended so quickly but still I wanted it to last longer. Always leave them wanting more, right? lol
Malcolm needs to have an end game. It cannot be all about Thea. He is too big for that. But with the way promos are going with the tag line "family is everything" I have a feeling all he wants is to control and mold Thea into his prodigy.
Well, that's what I'm saying. If anyone should be able to get in there, it's Malcolm. He owns the building, and probably has some kind of weird access to the security system or has it wired so he knows the codes. Out of all the randoms who have managed to breach it, I find him the least questionable, haha.
Till the episode aired I truly believed the secret is going to be revealed to Quentin. That would have made the whole drama worthwhile. Where Quentin is angry with Laurel and struggles with the news and Dinah "mother of the year" egging Laurel to get revenge. But what we got was boring. We do not care about Dinah and what she thinks. We are not emotionally connected with her nor she is interesting. It's Quentin his feelings and his relationship with both his daughters we are bothered about.
If the motive for Thea scene at the cemetery was for us to be reminded that Thea and Laurel are friends it missed the mark. The scene was so badly acted and executed. I think that was Willa's worst performance on Arrow.
Digg and Oliver deserved an independent scene of their own like Oliver and Felicity. First that should have happened, then the scene with Roy, Digg and Oliver and then Felicity walks in.
I know! What's with the "family's everything" stuff? You just turned your daughter into a killer!!!! You have no right to talk about family. And his goal needs to be about more than settling his debt with Ra's.
There is a new mayor for Starling city going to be introduced right. I hope Malcolm has something to do with it and he wants to control the whole city with Mayor as his puppet. I think he used Oliver to keep Ra's away so he can do things his own way. Also DJ douchebag has to be Malcolm's lackey or Slade's son Joe.
One doubt I have is now that Oliver died and settled his score with LoA does that mean league is not hunting Malcolm anymore? Some say Malcolm's debt is settled. I don't see how as Oliver went there pretending to be Sara's killer. Malcolm's crimes towards league has nothing to do with Sara's death. They were hunting him before that.
Exactly! Who cares about Dinah? She keeps talking and talking about how she always knew that Sara was alive and that she never gave up hope and kept searching for her, then Sara comes back from the dead and a week later "mother of the year" travels back to her boyfriend and leaves her daughter!!! Maybe we will get to see more Quentin when Laurel suits up, like his interactions with Sara and Team Arrow in season two (hopefully).
"If the motive for Thea scene at the cemetery was for us to be reminded that Thea and Laurel are friends it missed the mark. The scene was so badly acted and executed. I think that was Willa's worst performance on Arrow." Thank you! So it wasn't just me?? That scene really was horribly acted. Those two felt weird and awkward. There was something off about that scene. The scene was supposed to be emotional and sincere but I didn't feel anything watching them. As usual I didn't connect with Laurel but I didn't connect with Thea either.
I was so disappointed. When I was watching I was like, are kidding me? That's it? not even take care of your family or even see ya soon dude?!
They're going introduce a new mayor? I didn't know that. I was actually thinking of asking Marc about that a few days ago. Good to know. I hope you're right and that he's trying to control the city but the mayor being controlled by a villain storyline has been done with Slade already. So I hope they approach it from a different angle.
I don't think he wanted Ra's to kill Oliver to settle the score with Ra's. He wanted Oliver to kill Ra's so he could be free. That's why he had the video of Thea, to give Oliver the proper motivation. Oliver's death settles the score of Sara's death but they still want to make him pay for the undertaking. So when Oliver comes back and Ra's finally finds out about what really happened to Sara they will be hunting him for two reasons.
The problem with Dinah is she is such a bad mother to both Sara and Laurel. First she gave permission to one daughter to run off with other daughter's boyfriend. She essentially gave permission to Sara for Laurel to be cheated on. Then she left her only living daughter with an alcoholic father. Then came back into her life to only talk about the dead child who gave so much pain to the other. Season 2 at least she stayed with Laurel in the hospital. Thank God for small mercies. I am not sympathetic to her at all. The one time I feel sorry for Laurel is when I see Dinah. I just want to slap her. So her to give motivation to Laurel to become BC...who cares??? Now if it was Quentin asking Laurel to fight, not to fight...anything it would have mattered.
Willa, KC, the atmosphere, the hug, the dialogues everything was off in that scene. So Laurel said nobody knows about Sara's death and she couldn't tell anyone and Thea just accepted it. Everything about that scene was bad.
Technically Thea is the one who owns the place and even if the club was in his name he can't really do anything about it since he is supposed to be dead. He can't go to the place and say "I drank a magic potion and now I'm back from the dead to spy on the arrow so step aside and let me pass." if anyone saw him lol
It was in an earlier interview but I definitely read about a mayor.
But how could Malcolm think that Oliver will be able to kill Ra's? Oliver barely held up with Malcolm. If Oliver can kill Ra's then why not kill Ra's himself. I hope the show has some valid explanation for Malcolm's motives. If it's another Slade type situation I will be so disappointed. Till the promise last season I was eagerly waiting for something more exciting to happen on the island for Slade to be this angry at Oliver. Instead it was you chose the wrong woman thing... Ugh..
So with that logic LoA should be hunting Malcolm even now right?
She is a real piece of work isn't she? smh Hopefully we'll get to see Quentin on our screen for more than 30 seconds again soon.
IKR? Laurel told Thea that Sara was "complicated" and Thea just accepted that and didn't ask for further explanation.
Don't get me started on Diggle getting sidelined to make time for other characters. Sometimes he is just hanging around in the background without saying a single word.
With Laurel putting on the mask we will see Quentin more. He will be against Laurel's decision and the secret has to be revealed. I hope so... Fingers crossed.
The fact that after episode 2.08 when HIVE was first mentioned as the group behind Andy's death there has been no reference to that till now is insulting to such a great character. Any casual viewer would jave forgotten about that tidbit. We are rabid fans that's why we remember everything. Why can't they make it an overarching story line? Give small clues to us and Diggle every 3 or 4 episodes and 2 solid episodes to delve into that using or not using SS. But why would they do that after all Diggle and Felicity don't have comic book history. New52 does not count. That is ongoing. That does not create character history. Who cares about good character development for them? After all with Tommy, Moira and Walter gone they are the only original characters left on the show.
It's different for Malcolm, the whole league is hunting him because he broke their code of honour or something like that. He won't get the chance to demand a trial by combat. So his only hope was Oliver. That whole mess needs to be discussed explained in the upcoming episodes. Because I'm really lost. Yeah they should be, he is not supposed to be free as long as Ra's is alive.
I read that episode 5 (the felicity episode) was suppose to introduce the new Mayor of SC talking with Captain Lance but we never saw this happen.....the producer mention there would be a scene but it seem to me they cut the scene......
the mayor was suppose to show episode 5 with Captain Lance but it seem like they cut the scene......hope we see it as a deleted scene......disappointing it was not there and probably replace by one of those useless flashback or Felicity/mom scene
That's my biggest problem with season 3. They have so many characters and so many storylines happening at once so the result was rushing them and neglecting important characters like Diggle and Quentin.
Looking at Roy's character last season and this season there is a change atleast. He goes on missions, he was called a partner by Oliver, his relationship with Oliver changed a lot this season and he got called Arsenal. Yes he has less dialogues but his importance has increased where as Diggle has remained stagnant. Quentin cannot be moved because of the bloody secret ever one is keeping from him. I hope we get a dollmaker type episode for him.
I disagree about Palmer. Unlike Sara in season 2B Palmer is hardly there and whenever he is there it is to show us what Felicity is feeling. It's just Arrow writers are bad at writing for more than 3 characters.
So it must be a scene where Mayor is appointing Laurel as acting DA. I will pass... I am glad none of Felicity and mom scenes or her flashbacks were cut for this. After all it was her episode.
Ps.. If you didn't realise I am a huge Felicity fan. So not biased at all. ;)
according to imdb the most unreliable source, the mayor is female and her name is Celia Castle played by Christina Cox. I guessing the scene is not important enough.
probably right about the mayor/Lance scene but it would nice to see Lance playing a role that involve politics the producer did mention this would be a challenge because of his position.
True... The politics and struggling with power play. I had forgotten about that. Why do Arrow writers find it so difficult to balance all these characters. There are not too many of them. Compared to some other shows Arrow has less characters.
It not that hard to balance 8 regular plus recruiting characters just cut down on romance/useless scene that is relevant for season long arcs....perhaps just focus on what the character will become in the future...
I think if the arrowcave is relocated it should be underneath the sherwood florist? or that secondary location from season 2 which we don't know exactly where is it
Oliver: I'm "Eagle 1". Diggle, you're "If i had to do a dude". Laurel's "been there, done that". Felicity is "trying to do that now". And Roy... is "Eagle 2".
Whose name is on the deed doesn't matter. Thea bought the place with his money. He has legit access to that club, so him finding his way down into the "secret" lair is the least suspect out of all the people who ever got in there. I'm not sure why this point is so difficult to understand? I'm not saying he should be in there, just that out of all the villains who have found their way in, I'm the least outraged that he managed to.
I'm not saying he should have magic access by way of owning the building, just that out of all the people who have found their way down there, he's the least suspect to me since his money was used to purchase the building. I'm sure he knew what the basement was used for all along.
My original statement was just a throwaway comment that of all the villains who have found out that the lair is where it is, that have been able to get down there, he is the least questionable to me. Not sure why this is hard to understand?
Ray definitely needs development because right now I just feel like he's such a non-entity. I don't care for him at all and don't really care if he's off the show by the end of the season.
I too want them to take their time showing us how deeply affected Digg and Felicity are with the news of Oliver's death. I hope EBR knocks it out of the park and if this clip is any indication, she definitely will. Diggle, I have no qualms about him knocking it out of the park, DR is a fantastic actor. As for that clip when Diggle and Roy told Laurel, that was just really bad :p Hopefully KC does better than that in that episode.
I think it'd be cool to see Ray work with the Police, I'm glad he won't be in the arrow cave because that would just not be great. Hopefully the show integrates Laurel well into the arrow cave. They need to make her look more sympathetic and caring. What better way to do that than to have her support Team Arrow while she's down there?
You hate SpongeBob?????? I LOVE him. My neice and nephew used to force me to sit and watch with them and I loved it so much. Now they call to tell me when it's on TV Lol
At least I enjoy SpongeBob. You should see the other things they make me watch. And I have to pay attention and react to what's happening. Try acting worried when Dora the Explorer and her cousin Diego are crossing the crocodile lake to save the baby bird that left the nest and lost its way!!!!!
The problem with Arrow is they don't use regular characters for each others development except for Oliver. Instead they rely on recurring characters. For Laurel that is Ted Grant, Felicity Ray Palmer, Thea Malcolm and DJ douche bag,for Diggle it is Lyla. Instead if they had developed a friendship between maybe Felicity and Thea or Felicity and Laurel and used a unknown small character as Felicity's love interest this season it would have developed both the ladies and it would have move forward Oliver/Felicity romance too. Instead they keep on introducing larger than life iconic recurring characters.
This is "so difficult to understand" because you are arguing your own point, not addressing mine. You said he owned it. I said, no he doesn't, he doesn't legally own anything, legally he's dead.
I'm not that worried about anything to do with the location and/or ownership of the Arrow Cave. All the money stuff was absurd, so I ignore it. Plus, ready access to the building is pretty easy: it's a night club.
I hope it is a well paced episode. I have high hopes and dread for the coming episodes. I want all my favorites to shine. That being said I have a feeling these episodes without Oliver might not be received well. It is a huge risk. I am really not sure whether I will like it or not.
We here at spoilertv and other forums discuss in detail about Felicity, Diggle, Thea their story lines or the lack there of but when I see some of the youtube reviews from comic book fans or casual viewers they are more interested about Oliver and his struggles. They are interested in how he moves from Arrow to Green Arrow in present time and how he becomes Arrow in the past. I don't see many people saying Roy is not getting screen time or Felicity needs development. Only two complaints I hear repeatedly is one Diggle and his lack of purpose and two the dislike for Laurel (not hate just reviewers repeatedly saying they are not feeling the character). I think those people might get put off by this turn of events.
I have never seen a show in which the titular character was absent for several episodes. Bones never had one, House never had one... I can't remember any. But since they are renewed for season 4 now is the time to take risks I guess.
I think Maseo will flashback to his time with Oliver so it won't be completely without him and the producers won't back away from the possibility to give us a lot of nude Stephen ;-) I think people group around what they like. So here we are mostly open to all characters while on other sides they are more character centric. That is just the way it goes. I personally am a bit sick of Oliver this season. He softened a lot and should step it up a bit. Think this time away will make me miss him more.
I guess SA has a tough time with shooting every Fing day + the stunt training + abs training + table reads etc etc. This year they are on just 22 eps so there are tenIsh more days for him to slow down. I assume it is quite hard for him cause there is barely a scene without him but Arrow brought him fame so he should gather his balls and pull through. ^_^
To be honest, I'm not surprised with Diggle's diminished role. I mean Felicity's a hacker, Roy is the backup archer and Oliver's field partner, Diggle's just the sort of backup gun guy (who has a kid). I like Diggle, and I'm looking forward to his role as leader of Team Arrow in Oliver's absence, but it almost seems at times that his role is redundant now. As much as it pains me to say that. Honestly the best bet for the character is his dad arc and Hive one (which I've heard might pick up in the later part of three).
I understand what you are saying about Oliver. He is more emotional this season. The way he handled Malcolm was stupid. He threatens to break out of any prison so Oliver just let him go??? All that said I will miss him.
Stephen can't complain at all. Arrow put him on the A list. Arrow is still very young. There is still long way to go. But one thing is there in season 3 Arrow is trying to be more ambitious about fight scenes. Most episodes has more than 2 fight scenes. I love them all but they should aim for one good fight scene and more character development per episode.
That's why I always say Digg needs his own enemy and a season long arc away from Team Arrow. HIVE was perfect for this. But instead of giving us glimpses of this they just procrastinated for one year. Yes compared to Thea and Felicity Diggle is way developed. I always forget Malcolm is a regular.
I mean I enjoy a character being more emotional letting his walls down, but not of by the coast of his determination. Yeah they are doing more fights, as more characters are involved. I mean its hard for the show as a group of fans want more action while the others want more character focus. Finding the balance is quite hard and they did a great job in the 2nd half of season 2 cause we had a bit of all.
Stephen shouldn't complain but think he enjoyed spending a couple of days in a sunnier place than Vancouver. I hope this new chapter will feel good and have a smooth transition to the LoA storyline of the season.
I disagree. I am not a fan of second half of season 2 at all. Yes they had character moments but the pacing was so off. Roy got introduced to Team Arrow then goes MIA. Isabel Rochev was no where to be seen. Sara took over the scene (don't misunderstand me I love Sara)and Felicity and Diggle were hardly there. The Promise was a big let down as it did not provide us any new information. On top of that when there were lot of questions unanswered they did a suicide squad and BoP Helena episode. Suicide Squad I liked because it gave the opportunity to see Diggle after a long time. Also I was expecting more from Slade.
Arrow always has issues with writing for all its characters together. I don't know why? It's not like they have too many characters to write for. I liked season 1 for that matter. For all the cw romance drama undertaking was one cool mystery.
Malcolm's that regular whose only in 12 episodes. Almost every show has that character at some point. I don't mind. Do I want to see it yeah, but for now I'm cool with Digg's just taking over for Oliver I'm his absence. I'd like to see him get more in the back half though, if possible. If not and they instead devote that to Laurel's black canary journey, Thea learning about Merlyn or Felicity. I'm cool too. I feel they're in much more need of if then Diggle.
I didn't express myself well. Ibliked the end of Season 2. Not the whole 2nd half. After the BoP ep. Those finale eps had really good dynamic, at least for me. I agree The Promise was poor. They just needed fillers to fill up time before the big showdown.
From the moment Moira died the show upped it's game in season 2. Those last three episodes were really well done. I just wish they used those filler episodes to give Isobel Rochev some character, Roy hitting some target and speaking to Diggle or Felicity, and brother blood something more to do.
Mostly I think last season benefited from having Slade in the past and the present. He was such a looming presence all through out the season. This season they introduced Sara's murder as a mystery but it was not as exciting or mysterious as the Undertaking in season 1. I think once some character development for characters like Thea, Laurel, Malcolm, Roy and may be even Quentin happens in the coming 3 episodes we will get some thrilling episodes in the latter half. I am still a bit annoyed I don't know who the big bad of this season is Malcolm? Ra's? Amanda/ARGUS?
I loved the episode where Moira died so much I can't even express it. The season 2 finish was perfect. Also the first part of S2 was solid. I mean Barry's first appearance was my favorite episode of S2. Slade was the perfect villain, the build up to ArrowVsSlade was just so well executed. 2ndary characters need some love and their development will be a good foundation for later development.
Officially Ra is the big bad. But I don't know how far they can go with Oliver defeating him in a fight. I mean Ra is an Icon and fairly untouchable. So it will be interesting to see what is in store there. Merlyn as the comics main Arrow antagonist will probably always loom around, just like Katherine in VD.
I rewatched S01&S02 last summer and itbwas awesome.
Making Slade Oliver's friend and then turning it around was the best thing Arrow has done till date.
I see Merlyn as the Lex Luthor from Smallville. Always looming around and slips away. But it all depends on whether John Barrowman wants to reprise this role next season. He is a busy man after all. If Ra's is the big bad then how will this season conclude? Oliver and Co running LoA away from Starling? I am tired of speculating... give me more episodes to analyse and tear apart. I miss Arrow :(
I would be ok if Roy was an interesting chapter. Or even kind of interesting. I don't care about him at all, he is boring. And it pisses me off that he gets so much more time than Diggle.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Not sure whether Malcolm has already been to find Oliver by now or not.
ReplyDeleteYou don't sound very convincing Felicity!!!
ReplyDeleteI hate when Emily puts on Pink! It so doesn't suits her.
ReplyDeleteThey should really introduce a Felicity clone, just got the idea with her straight and curly hair. Would never say it's the same person.
Can't wait for new eps! ^_^
Is this going to be like the premiere. Too much stuff happening.
ReplyDeleteI'm not going to cry! I'm not going to cry!
ReplyDeleteSo I guess they will ask him to go find out if Oliver is ok and he finds the sword and tells them that Oliver is dead since the sword is there and it's Ra's's (why does Ra's's look grammatically wrong?) custom to leave the instrument of death to honour the fallen.
I have a feeling Malcolm already knows and that he was there watching the fight from afar. Mainly because I don't trust a word that man says but also because he looks extra evil in that scene.
I'm afraid of that too.
ReplyDeleteProbably because she doesn't believe what she's saying :(
ReplyDeleteOmggg she's gonna make me cry!!! My eyes totally watered. Very quickly! I'm okay! I'm okay!
ReplyDeleteThat's what you wanted, right? Enjoy lol
ReplyDeleteWhat's up with the short sneak peeks and theCW? They're getting on my nerves! Well, it's almost over... 3 days for Flash and 4 for Arrow.. Damn! :(
ReplyDeleteWhy would anyone WANT to cry? Are you okay? Haha = /
ReplyDeleteI warned you that the clips will make us cry but you insisted :\
ReplyDeleteFelicity looks like she wanna smack Merlyn's head so bad xD
ReplyDeleteThis is torture CW, you and your short sneak peeks will drive me to crazy.
ReplyDeleteI hope we get a long clip soon.
ReplyDeleteYesterday! I told you that I'm not ready to see the clips because they will make me cry and you said "This wait was unbearable. It may kill me, but it's so worth the tears. I don't want a Brick, or YKW scene. I'll take a Roy, Diggle, Quentin, Malcolm scene and be happy. I just need new scenes to think about!"
ReplyDeleteDon't remind me plz because I was seriously depressed after the finale and I'll probably start crying again on January 22 and won't stop until Oliver comes back :( this season is killing me :\
Breaks my heart. Felicity and Diggle's reactions are going to kill me. I'm looking forward to everything else in this arc, but I wish I didn't have to see this part. So sad.
ReplyDeleteThe fact that Merlyn gets to hang around in the foundry so easily is beyond me.
ReplyDeleteMaybe Oliver really is selling tickets to the arrowcave... The man has to eat somehow! :P
ReplyDeleteI think she looks good in pink. Hell everything.
ReplyDeleteAlready it feels too much is happening.
ReplyDeleteGirllll, iI meant the episodes, not the clips! Silly Rabbit. Omg i saw this beautiful OlOlivia video yesterday, you want to see it?
ReplyDeleteI asked Marc Guggenheim on tumblr about this.
ReplyDeleteWhy would they ask Malcolm to check on Oliver? They might ask him for location of the place where Oliver went. But anything more I can't see happening. May be Malcolm will volunteer his services.
ReplyDeleteThey might ask for his help since he might know the location but you're right he's probably going to volunteer.
ReplyDeletewhat's a "OlOlivia "?
ReplyDeleteIt might not be as rushed as the premiere but I think it will be like 3x09.
ReplyDeleteNow I keep imagining them having secret handshake and a secret knock lol
ReplyDeleteWas 3x09 rushed? I did not think it was rushed. It felt like that because previous episode was completely independent of the over arching storyline. If this episode has the pacing of 3x09 then I will be happy.
ReplyDeleteI have a feeling in this scene Malcolm shows up and surprises them at the foundry asking for Oliver's whereabouts. If it was Team Arrow contacting him they will never call him in the foundry. They would go where he is and ask him. I have a very bad feeling about all this Team Arrow and Malcolm interactions. He wants something from them. I think he wants to use them to control the city.
ReplyDeleteNo it wasn't rushed. There was too many things happening at once and I agree every story took its time but some scenes needed more time imo, like the fight scene, don't get me wrong it was great but it ended so fast and Oliver and Dig's goodbye was so underwhelming, and Quentin was in it for like 2 minutes.
ReplyDeleteOliver and Digg will guard the doors, Felicity will take minutes of the meeting and Roy will serve them refreshments.
ReplyDeleteYou know, I can ignore the fact that every criminal in Starling can find the foundry so easily these days but how do they get past the security code!!!!! It really bugs me :\ And doesn't that foundry have an alarm system??? Anywaaaay, at this point I'm kinda hoping that Malcolm is trying to control the city or even take over the league, anything to justify his actions because otherwise he is just being evil for the fun of it.
ReplyDeleteSmh. It's this stupid phone. It acts up sometimes. Hold on.
ReplyDeleteLaurel suiting up would always be too rushed. And I don't think too much stuff is happening. I think all the Brick stuff will be happening in the background in episode 10. Then Team Arrow will find out about his plan by the end of the episode making Laurel suit up (which I think will be the last scene).
ReplyDeleteIt happens a lot. Is it a happy video or a sad video?
ReplyDeleteIt's a beautiful video. Lol
ReplyDeletelol ok send me the link.
ReplyDeleteWhat else could they do with Quentin in that episode.
ReplyDeleteI really liked the fight between Ra's and Oliver.
ReplyDeleteMalcolm actually owns that building, so it makes sense that he of all people would be able to get there. The stupidity of having your base of operations in a building you a) do not own that is b) owned by a criminal who is drugging your sister is stupid, but...well, Malcolm does hold the deed.
ReplyDeleteI love Quentin so I'm angry that we don't get to see him a lot this season. OK fine he doesn't know about Sara so he can't be involved in that story but give him something else to do beside drinking coffee at the precinct all day!
ReplyDeleteI agree with you about the Thea/Laurel scene; It was so unnecessary and didn't affect the story at all.
ReplyDeleteWell, that's what I'm saying. If anyone should be able to get in there, it's Malcolm. He owns the building, and probably has some kind of weird access to the security system or has it wired so he knows the codes. Out of all the randoms who have managed to breach it, I find him the least questionable, haha.
ReplyDeleteHe doesn't really need to own the building to do all that lol
ReplyDeleteTill the episode aired I truly believed the secret is going to be revealed to Quentin.
ReplyDeleteIf the motive for Thea scene at the cemetery was for us to be reminded that Thea and Laurel are friends it missed the mark.
ReplyDeleteThere is a new mayor for Starling city going to be introduced right. I hope Malcolm has something to do with it and he wants to control the whole city with Mayor as his puppet. I think he used Oliver to keep Ra's away so he can do things his own way. Also DJ douchebag has to be Malcolm's lackey or Slade's son Joe.
ReplyDeleteOne doubt I have is now that Oliver died and settled his score with LoA does that mean league is not hunting Malcolm anymore? Some say Malcolm's debt is settled. I don't see how as Oliver went there pretending to be Sara's killer. Malcolm's crimes towards league has nothing to do with Sara's death. They were hunting him before that.
Thea may hold the deed. But not Malcolm--he's legally dead.
ReplyDeleteExactly! Who cares about Dinah? She keeps talking and talking about how she always knew that Sara was alive and that she never gave up hope and kept searching for her, then Sara comes back from the dead and a week later "mother of the year" travels back to her boyfriend and leaves her daughter!!!
ReplyDeleteMaybe we will get to see more Quentin when Laurel suits up, like his interactions with Sara and Team Arrow in season two (hopefully).
I know he doesn't. I'm just saying that of all the villains who get in there, he's the least questionable, since he has legit access to the place.
ReplyDeleteThey're going introduce a new mayor? I didn't know that. I was actually thinking of asking Marc about that a few days ago. Good to know. I hope you're right and that he's trying to control the city but the mayor being controlled by a villain storyline has been done with Slade already. So I hope they approach it from a different angle.
ReplyDeleteI don't think he wanted Ra's to kill Oliver to settle the score with Ra's.
ReplyDeleteWilla, KC, the atmosphere, the hug, the dialogues everything was off in that scene. So Laurel said nobody knows about Sara's death and she couldn't tell anyone and Thea just accepted it. Everything about that scene was bad.
Diggle the one who is always sidelined....
Technically Thea is the one who owns the place and even if the club was in his name he can't really do anything about it since he is supposed to be dead. He can't go to the place and say "I drank a magic potion and now I'm back from the dead to spy on the arrow so step aside and let me pass." if anyone saw him lol
ReplyDeleteIt was in an earlier interview but I definitely read about a mayor.
ReplyDeleteBut how could Malcolm think that Oliver will be able to kill Ra's? Oliver barely held up with Malcolm. If Oliver can kill Ra's then why not kill Ra's himself. I hope the show has some valid explanation for Malcolm's motives. If it's another Slade type situation I will be so disappointed. Till the promise last season I was eagerly waiting for something more exciting to happen on the island for Slade to be this angry at Oliver. Instead it was you chose the wrong woman thing... Ugh..
So with that logic LoA should be hunting Malcolm even now right?
She is a real piece of work isn't she? smh
ReplyDeleteHopefully we'll get to see Quentin on our screen for more than 30 seconds again soon.
IKR? Laurel told Thea that Sara was "complicated" and Thea just accepted that and didn't ask for further explanation.
Don't get me started on Diggle getting sidelined to make time for other characters. Sometimes he is just hanging around in the background without saying a single word.
Diggle is not the only sidelined......both Roy and Quentin have done much either........they been take over by Palmer scenes......
ReplyDeleteWith Laurel putting on the mask we will see Quentin more. He will be against Laurel's decision and the secret has to be revealed. I hope so... Fingers crossed.
ReplyDeleteThe fact that after episode 2.08 when HIVE was first mentioned as the group behind Andy's death there has been no reference to that till now is insulting to such a great character.
If you read it then I trust you.
ReplyDeleteIt's different for Malcolm, the whole league is hunting him because he broke their code of honour or something like that.
ReplyDeletethe mayor was suppose to show episode 5 with Captain Lance but it seem like they cut the scene......hope we see it as a deleted scene......disappointing it was not there and probably replace by one of those useless flashback or Felicity/mom scene
ReplyDeleteAt least Roy goes on missions and gets to do some cool fight scenes but dig and Quentin are treated horribly this season.
ReplyDeleteOh, my heart.
ReplyDeleteI think Diggle/Quentin screentime been taking over by Palmer.......you know a recruiting character....he the Sara of this season.
ReplyDeleteI hope so too.
ReplyDeleteThat's my biggest problem with season 3.
ReplyDeleteQuentin cannot be moved because of the bloody secret ever one is keeping from him. I hope we get a dollmaker type episode for him.
I disagree about Palmer. Unlike Sara in season 2B Palmer is hardly there and whenever he is there it is to show us what Felicity is feeling. It's just Arrow writers are bad at writing for more than 3 characters.
I wish! Don't get me started on Palmer wasting screentime. At least some of Sara's scenes were awesome and interesting.
ReplyDeleteIf they cut his scene then it means he doesn't have a role this season or we will get to meet him later.
ReplyDeleteOh.. Then he is not important. He must have been there for the riot squad stry line. Meh...
ReplyDeleteI don't think Quentin will get his own episode this season but I expect he will get a major role in 3.10-12 hopefully.....
ReplyDeleteSo it must be a scene where Mayor is appointing Laurel as acting DA. I will pass... I am glad none of Felicity and mom scenes or her flashbacks were cut for this. After all it was her episode.
ReplyDeletePs.. If you didn't realise I am a huge Felicity fan. So not biased at all. ;)
according to imdb the most unreliable source, the mayor is female and her name is Celia Castle played by Christina Cox. I guessing the scene is not important enough.
ReplyDeleteprobably right about the mayor/Lance scene but it would nice to see Lance playing a role that involve politics the producer did mention this would be a challenge because of his position.
ReplyDeleteTrue... The politics and struggling with power play. I had forgotten about that. Why do Arrow writers find it so difficult to balance all these characters. There are not too many of them. Compared to some other shows Arrow has less characters.
ReplyDeleteIt was probably related to the riot squad.
ReplyDeleteI would love to see that. Seriously Quentin needs a storyline of his own asap.
ReplyDeletehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y6E9bxxGQlA&feature=youtube_gdata_player
ReplyDeleteIt not that hard to balance 8 regular plus recruiting characters just cut down on romance/useless scene that is relevant for season long arcs....perhaps just focus on what the character will become in the future...
ReplyDeleteI think if the arrowcave is relocated it should be underneath the sherwood florist? or that secondary location from season 2 which we don't know exactly where is it
ReplyDeleteOliver: I'm "Eagle 1". Diggle, you're "If i had to do a dude". Laurel's "been there, done that". Felicity is "trying to do that now". And Roy... is "Eagle 2".
ReplyDeleteRoy: Thanks God...

ReplyDeleteWhose name is on the deed doesn't matter.
ReplyDeleteI'm not saying he should have magic access by way of owning the building, just that out of all the people who have found their way down there, he's the least suspect to me since his money was used to purchase the building. I'm sure he knew what the basement was used for all along.
ReplyDeleteMy original statement was just a throwaway comment that of all the villains who have found out that the lair is where it is, that have been able to get down there, he is the least questionable to me. Not sure why this is hard to understand?
Stay strong babygirl<3
ReplyDeletedamn Felicity's definitely in denial
ReplyDeletesince wen does Merlyn own it?
ReplyDeleteRay definitely needs development because right now I just feel like he's such a non-entity. I don't care for him at all and don't really care if he's off the show by the end of the season.
ReplyDeleteI too want them to take their time showing us how deeply affected Digg and Felicity are with the news of Oliver's death.
I wish you could've use any other gif. lol I hateeeeeee Spongebob and any character related to him.
ReplyDeleteYou hate SpongeBob?????? I LOVE him. My neice and nephew used to force me to sit and watch with them and I loved it so much. Now they call to tell me when it's on TV Lol
ReplyDeleteMega facepalm.
ReplyDeleteAt least I enjoy SpongeBob. You should see the other things they make me watch. And I have to pay attention and react to what's happening. Try acting worried when Dora the Explorer and her cousin Diego are crossing the crocodile lake to save the baby bird that left the nest and lost its way!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThe problem with Arrow is they don't use regular characters for each others development except for Oliver.
ReplyDeleteI don't mind the pink dresses she wears in the show but this one is really not flattering on her.
ReplyDeleteI'm so ready for this episode!
ReplyDeleteLmaoooooo
ReplyDeleteCheck your email.
ReplyDeleteThis is "so difficult to understand" because you are arguing your own point, not addressing mine. You said he owned it. I said, no he doesn't, he doesn't legally own anything, legally he's dead.
ReplyDeleteI'm not that worried about anything to do with the location and/or ownership of the Arrow Cave.
ReplyDeleteWe here at spoilertv and other forums discuss in detail about Felicity, Diggle, Thea their story lines or the lack there of but when I see some of the youtube reviews from comic book fans or casual viewers they are more interested about Oliver and his struggles.
I think Maseo will flashback to his time with Oliver so it won't be completely without him and the producers won't back away from the possibility to give us a lot of nude Stephen ;-)
ReplyDeleteI think people group around what they like.
ReplyDeleteMoira's not original. She's in the comics.
ReplyDeleteI understand what you are saying about Oliver. He is more emotional this season. The way he handled Malcolm was stupid. He threatens to break out of any prison so Oliver just let him go??? All that said I will miss him.
ReplyDeleteStephen can't complain at all.
Yes but she is dead there. She just appears 5 times in the new earth version. She does not have extensive history like BC, Arsenal or Speedy.
ReplyDeleteThat's why I always say Digg needs his own enemy and a season long arc away from Team Arrow. HIVE was perfect for this. But instead of giving us glimpses of this they just procrastinated for one year. Yes compared to Thea and Felicity Diggle is way developed. I always forget Malcolm is a regular.
ReplyDeleteI mean I enjoy a character being more emotional letting his walls down, but not of by the coast of his determination.
ReplyDeleteYeah they are doing more fights, as more characters are involved.
ReplyDeleteArrow always has issues with writing for all its characters together. I don't know why? It's not like they have too many characters to write for. I liked season 1 for that matter. For all the cw romance drama undertaking was one cool mystery.
True. But still...
ReplyDeleteMalcolm's that regular whose only in 12 episodes.
ReplyDeleteI didn't express myself well. Ibliked the end of Season 2. Not the whole 2nd half. After the BoP ep. Those finale eps had really good dynamic, at least for me. I agree The Promise was poor.
ReplyDeleteThey just needed fillers to fill up time before the big showdown.
From the moment Moira died the show upped it's game in season 2. Those last three episodes were really well done. I just wish they used those filler episodes to give Isobel Rochev some character, Roy hitting some target and speaking to Diggle or Felicity, and brother blood something more to do.
ReplyDeleteMostly I think last season benefited from having Slade in the past and the present.
ReplyDeleteSlade was the perfect villain, the build up to ArrowVsSlade was just so well executed.
ReplyDeleteI see Merlyn as the Lex Luthor from Smallville. I miss Arrow :(
I think after this season the LOA storyline will be over
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't say they will close that door forever, a couple of cameos sure to happen, but the major story will most likely be over.
ReplyDeleteI would be ok if Roy was an interesting chapter. Or even kind of interesting. I don't care about him at all, he is boring. And it pisses me off that he gets so much more time than Diggle.
ReplyDeleteHe has done and said less than Diggle all season.
ReplyDeleteAlways blaming someone else except the person who takes away so much screentime from other supporting characters:Felicity.
ReplyDelete
