  2. JK Simmons!!! He made Growing Up Fisher, so I'm glad he won the award. Very talented.

    ReplyDelete
  3. Joanne!!!! So happy.

    ReplyDelete
  4. Beyond happy for Billy Bob Thornton, he earned it!

    ReplyDelete
  5. Happy for Fargo and Billy Bob Thorton

    ReplyDelete
  6. Soo happy for JK Simmons. Whiplash was perfect!

    ReplyDelete
  7. I didn't know Fargo is a mini-series.

    ReplyDelete
  8. YES GINA YASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!

    ReplyDelete
  9. That really took me by surprise!

    ReplyDelete
  10. Great for JTV
    CW must be thrilled!

    ReplyDelete
  11. Lol at the Cumberbatch Photo Bomb :)

    ReplyDelete
  12. JANE THE VIRGIN!!!!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  13. Gotta love the underdog. Is Jane female oriented or will it potentially become my dirst CW show?

    ReplyDelete
  14. OMG!!!!Gina!Congrats!This is HUGE!!

    CW is on fire today!

    ReplyDelete
  15. Loving that GG are not repeating and sticking to the norm

    ReplyDelete
  16. waiting for the cw ads........ lol

    ReplyDelete
  17. Joanne Froggatt won!Great actress,so deserving!

    ReplyDelete
  18. Orange Is The New Black shouldn't have entered as a comedy. It never has any luck, at the Enmys and now at the Golden Globes. Gina Rodriguez is in fire today and should be proud of herself. She made JTV win a GG and got it renewed.

    ReplyDelete
  19. I'm sad my "Orange is the New Black" didn't win anything :(

    ReplyDelete
  20. Lol I had the same response when I heard them call Gina's name!

    ReplyDelete
  21. I'm pretty sad too. It should've entered as a drama. By the time OITNB wins an award it'll have finished three seasons and will be getting older.

    ReplyDelete
  22. OITNB is still more comedy than drama. It should have entered as a comedy last season when it was still the hot new kid on the block.

This season Transparent was just hotter and newer than OITNB :-/

    ReplyDelete
  23. I would've been in absolute shock had JTV win best comedy.

    ReplyDelete
  24. If anyone told in oct that JtV would get renewed early, much less win GG,i would call him/her delusional!

    ReplyDelete
  25. everyone i mean EVERYONE! was hating the show when they pick it up and look now how they are proving wrong to people xD

    ReplyDelete
  26. I decided to give Jane a chance, and it honestly became my favourite show rather quickly. So very happy for Gina!!

    ReplyDelete
  27. Gina Rodriguez!! wow!!!

    ReplyDelete
  28. The CW made Marvel move with Jane the Virgin.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Awesome of Jane the Virgin! The CW execs must be thrilled. I started watching it, and stopped, but I think I'm going to try picking it up again because I've heard so many good things!

    ReplyDelete
  30. Try it,i was completely against the show on oct and now i love it!

    ReplyDelete
  31. WHAT? Big Eyes really deserved that award.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Does it have more drama or comedy??

    ReplyDelete
  33. Gina Rodriguez won because she's a pretty young starlet in a show critics are wetting themselves over. (Her ethnicity didn't hurt, either.) That's Golden Globe catnip, so it was obvious they would want to be the first major organization that recognized her/the show.

    ReplyDelete
  34. They entered as a drama last year.

    ReplyDelete
  35. I was rooting for Yellow Flicker Beat. The whole Mockingjay album was great.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Now I'm 95% sure Viola will win best actress..

    ReplyDelete
  37. Congrats Gina, such a great actress :)
    https://vine.co/v/ODK0PDa0b5K

    ReplyDelete
  38. I would have been fine if either Lorde or Lana Del Ray won. Both are amazing artist.

But at the same time I'm not surprised John Legend won.

    ReplyDelete
  39. It depends on what failsJanuary 12, 2015 at 1:55 AM

Golden Globe made Gina Rodriguez and Transparent winners?

Screw you Emmys with your beloved Modern Family and TBBT.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Lesson: Don't judge a book by its cover. And wait until it wins the golden globe to rub it in the face of those who did

    ReplyDelete
  41. Waiting for Marc Berman's gloating...

    ReplyDelete
  42. Very female IMO. It's a telenovela soap, but done really well.

    ReplyDelete
  43. It depends on what failsJanuary 12, 2015 at 1:57 AM

At least it didn't lose to Modern Family.

    That was disguting, Emmys.

    ReplyDelete
  44. At least with The Golden Globes we have variaty. The Emmys is like a comedy show now; I still wait for the time when Downtown Abby wins best drama and the world starts to burst in flames

    ReplyDelete
  45. I wish it won, but I have the outmost respect for the winner, unlike Modern Family on the emmys

    ReplyDelete
  46. Great promo for Allegiance NBC.

    ReplyDelete
  47. He's going to milk this cow for a very long time

    ReplyDelete
  48. It depends on what failsJanuary 12, 2015 at 2:00 AM

    Very female oriented.

What am I doing watching this show, when critics started saying it was good I thought I had become crazy.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Things are getting tougher for CW fall shows by every min!

    ReplyDelete
  50. I love that the Golden Globes are basically saying to the Big Four, you aren't doing something right. Congrats to Amazon for their first win. Jeffrey Tambor is amazing in Transparent.
For the big one, Gina Rodriguez, I'm happily amazed.Very deserving and great publicity for the CW.

    ReplyDelete
  51. It depends on what failsJanuary 12, 2015 at 2:01 AM

Downton gets nominated every year and it is barely above average.

I get the Hannibal shutdown but the lack of attention The Americans gets, however, is baffling.

    ReplyDelete
  52. I wouldn't go that far.

Viola Davis will probably win the best actress category for her role in a network TV series.

    ReplyDelete
  53. I agree.DA is pretty mediocre now.

    ReplyDelete
  54. I know it gets nominated, but the year it wins it everyone will start flaming the emmys like hell.

I completely agree that Hannibal and The Americans should be on the emmys roster

    ReplyDelete
  55. It depends on what failsJanuary 12, 2015 at 2:03 AM

I agree, but mostly because she is a movie star.

They, however, are saying no to the rest, while the Emmys still love big 4 comedies.

    ReplyDelete
  56. I hope you don't choke on that hater juice. It's simple. If the critics are wetting themselves over it, awards shows are paying attention to the acting reels, and regular people just can't stop thinking about it, she must be just that damned good. Don't take away from her personality and talent by saying it's because of her youth and ethnicity, It's because she is apparently beloved by the majority.

    ReplyDelete
  57. I find myself defending this girl everywhere and I don't even watch Jane but I do like her. Jane isn't my style of show but I know talent when I see it. Haters are just hilarious with their repeated rhetoric.

    ReplyDelete
  58. I love Amy Adams! Well deserved reward IMO.

    ReplyDelete
  59. I almost want to unblock a few on twitter so that I can see their reactions. The people hating on this young girl is ridiculous.

    ReplyDelete
  60. The comment is so childish,i can't even.....urgh!

    ReplyDelete
  61. I just read a tweet by one of those TV sites that said "It's time to stop judging the CW so harshly" and I am grateful Jane is bringing attention to the network. It's been a long time coming, IMO. I would PAY to have seen Dawn Ostroff's face when a CW show on a GG.

    ReplyDelete
  62. Oh, I don't doubt it but they are breaking mold by awarding Amazon it's first award ever and awarding the CW. It has to make the Big Four look at what other's are doing that they are not. It's not just cable competition anymore. It's Netflix/Amazon and now the CW.

    ReplyDelete
  63. I'm so happy for Gina I didn't even get to see when she won her award because I was watching Galavant!

    ReplyDelete
  64. It depends on what failsJanuary 12, 2015 at 2:13 AM

Amazon won a major award before Netflix, that's surprising.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Wohooo!!!! Congratulations Gina! Very well deserved

    ReplyDelete
  66. Being of latina heritage helps you win awards? I must have missed that memo. Just because a non-white person that you don't fancy wins an award, it doesn't mean that they got the award because of their ethnicity. I've watched a few Jane the Virgin episodes and her win makes far more sense that some of the other wins. In case you didn't notice, the vast majority of winners are white, but even if we don't agree with their win, no one attributes the win to their ethnicity. So why do it for non-white actors?

    ReplyDelete
  67. True. I was sure Netflix had won for OITNB or Orphan Black but I forget.

    ReplyDelete
  68. How To Train Your Dragon 2!!

    ReplyDelete
  69. Her acceptance speech was great!

    ReplyDelete
  70. I wanted The Book of Life to win. HTTYD2 was my second best! im still happy

    ReplyDelete
  71. I think someone posted a clip below, if you scroll down.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Yayz for Dragon 2. X3

    ReplyDelete
  73. The GGs were also the first to award Netflix, so it's no surprise they are trying ri stay trendy by giving an award to Amazon and the CW.

But there are still quite a few quality programs on network TV, that the GGs will simply ignore.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  75. Gina-I can & i did!Proud of you,girl!

    ReplyDelete
  76. I feel like I watch a lot of TV, but I don't know have of these shows!

    ReplyDelete
  77. So happy for Patricia Aquette!

    ReplyDelete
  78. Can we get to best drama and best drama actress?

    Me too.

A relief after 3 hours of CSI:Cyber promos.

    ReplyDelete
  82. Same here, I couldn't understand the hype from watching the promos, until I finally watched both movies last month.

    ReplyDelete
  83. I recommend you watch the tv show too! It's pretty good from episode 5 onwards!

    ReplyDelete
  84. The CW is on a roll today the only thing that would have made this better is if Jane the Virgin actually won.

    ReplyDelete
  85. At least, Gina won. That's better than nothing.

    ReplyDelete
  86. I'm so sad I missed it!!

    ReplyDelete
  87. it is good it was my second best. I was rooting for The Book of Life tbh

    ReplyDelete
  88. Whoah!!!! Matt Bomer won an award??? How did I miss that? Why isn't anyone commenting on it?

    ReplyDelete
  89. New CSI: Cyber promos with "Golden Globe winner Patricia Arquette" coming in 3 2 1...

    ReplyDelete
  90. Lol true.

I'm sure CBS is also prepping new ads for Jane the Virgin as well!

    ReplyDelete
  91. She's probably off somewhere banging her head against the wall!LOL!

    ReplyDelete
  92. Let me know well Allison Tolman wins and Allison Janney win.

    ReplyDelete
  93. I'm sure The CW had one made already just in case they won and we'll see it ASAP

    ReplyDelete
  94. Honestly I thought Book of Life was good and gorgeous to look at, but it lacked the emotional heft of Dragons 2, that's why it remained as my favorite animated movie. But both were pretty good

    ReplyDelete
  95. OMG!My matt won!Happy dance!

    ReplyDelete
  96. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uuPAXzfA0nY

    ReplyDelete
  97. Transparent is cleaning house.

    ReplyDelete
  98. It deserved to win over Transparent for sure.

    ReplyDelete
  99. She did have a beautiful acceptance speech. It was very pure.

    ReplyDelete
  100. I'm just praying Viola gets her award and that TGW gets their award. I will burn Hollywood if it doesn't.

    ReplyDelete
  101. Birdman-That's a no-brainer!

    ReplyDelete
  102. Viola will win because her show is new AND she's a movie star.

TGW is old so it probably won't win.

GGs are going for the fresh new trendy choices this year.

    ReplyDelete
  103. Here is the Backstage Press conference from Gina Rodriguez https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y0Dp7RpKFPY

"Networks are seeing when you step outside the door it's a very diverse world"

    ReplyDelete
  104. You are on roll today, thanks a lot!

    ReplyDelete
  105. I will be sure to add some photos/ and maybe some videos when the show ends.

    ReplyDelete
  106. Oh the pain of only having Netflix!

    ReplyDelete
  107. Right?? Like I'm glad for her and all, but I can't help but scratch my head. And ask really??? ALL these years of great performances by the CW actors/actresses and JTV gets the first ever Golden Globe?? That's crazy!!

    ReplyDelete
  108. If TGW doesn't win because of its age... I swear, I'll murder someone.

    ReplyDelete
  109. Who is this Joanne person ans why did she win over Allison Janney?

    ReplyDelete
  110. they didnt had anything GG worthy before?...

    ReplyDelete
  111. She's great as anna in DA.

    ReplyDelete
  112. Any new promos so far?

    ReplyDelete
  113. I think she didnt stand a chance going agains Drama people...

    ReplyDelete
  114. New Allegiance one, new nightshift, a FX Promo showcasing all their shows, a new crap 5 second Odyssey tease. Apart from that just old promos for Blacklist, Parks and Rec and Chicago Fire.

    ReplyDelete
  115. Ugh, NBC should just stop with the Odyssey teasers.
Was really hoping for new Blacklist promo.

    ReplyDelete
  116. there is still time.

    ReplyDelete
  117. Gina is so great! Seriously, smart, passionate and very humble. I may not watch JtV, but she won my respect

    ReplyDelete
  118. One of the new Blacklist promos looked new to me.

    ReplyDelete
  119. No. Not that I remember. Never.

    ReplyDelete
  120. She's my favorite actress on the cw!

    ReplyDelete
  121. Allison Tolman didn't win either.
    *sigh*

    ReplyDelete
  122. Not surprised the Affair won the drama award.

    ReplyDelete
  123. Wait there was two? Perhaps there was a new one, I am do multiple things as once so it's hard to keep track.

    ReplyDelete
  124. I really wish GG had separate category for supporting comedy too.

    ReplyDelete
  125. Downton Abbey needs to be eliminated from every awards show ever, starting from 3 years ago.

    ReplyDelete
  126. I'm happy it did, it's pretty outstanding

    ReplyDelete
  127. Yeah there were 2 different Blacklist promos.

    ReplyDelete
  128. The Affair has won!Yesss!!!

    ReplyDelete
  129. Wow good for The Affair!

    ReplyDelete
  130. I'm done. I'm so done. The Good Wife deserved that award. They deserved that award. I'm killing someone.

    ReplyDelete
  131. I have to catch up on it...

    ReplyDelete
  132. It lost to The Affair, it's not like it lost to Downtown Abby; it had very stiff competition

    ReplyDelete
  133. I wanna see that now. This break has been brutal.

    ReplyDelete
  134. Me too, but so far it has exceeded my expectations greatly, so I'm really happy it won it

    ReplyDelete
  135. It should stay to the UK.

    ReplyDelete
  136. It was a really good promo, it went by fast but I hope NBC post it into YouTube tomorrow

    ReplyDelete
  137. me too, going agains the one that win (dont know her name) and Kathy Bates. It was reall difficult for her to win.

    ReplyDelete
  138. The Good Wife just came out on one of the best seasons from any drama. And they give it to The Affair? Bullshit.

    ReplyDelete
  139. Have u seen The affair?

    ReplyDelete
  140. I'm not denying that, TGW is fairly awesome and if it won it would have been awesome and well deserved, but The Affair deserves it as much in IMO

    ReplyDelete
  141. There was 1 new one but not sure if it's a new clip

    ReplyDelete
  142. Do you know why the Affair won against The Good Wife? Because it airs on cable. That's the only reason.

    ReplyDelete
  143. I haven't. But The Good Wife absolutely deserved that.

    ReplyDelete
  144. They're promoting State of Affairs and Aquarius? Pffftt...

    ReplyDelete
  145. None of my favorites are winning and I'm sad. First Allison Janney and now Allison Tolman.
    Volia Davis better win!

    ReplyDelete
  146. I'm sure.I'm just saying it was a very close call.

    ReplyDelete
  147. I wanted James Spader ! he really deserved it

    ReplyDelete
  148. The affair is do good

    ReplyDelete
  149. Aquarius too? It doesn't even have a premiere date.

    ReplyDelete
  150. no, it wasn't. The close call was the fact that The Affair airs on cable and The Good Wife on broadcast. If it aired on cable, it would have swept the category.

    ReplyDelete
  151. By that logic Gina Rodriguez wouldn't have won best actress

    ReplyDelete
  152. Broadcast dramas are heavily stigmatized when compared to cable. Don't pretend this isn't true.

    ReplyDelete
  153. I don't understand why they don't. Janney surely should have won over this DA lady.

    ReplyDelete
  154. Keep in mind, I'm talking about Heigl and Ducohvny being presenters

    ReplyDelete
  155. You're obviously upset.Telling you otherwise won't convince you,so we'll just have to accept it!

    ReplyDelete
  156. Oh. Well that's slightly better. SofA is so far gone, they shouldn't even bother promoting it anymore.

    ReplyDelete
  157. James was great, but Kevin was absolutely phenomenal in S2 of House of Cards!

    I'm so happy he won!

    ReplyDelete
  158. Of course I'm upset. The Good Wife deserved that award over everyone else. It's one of the best dramas on the air and it doesn't get the recognition it deserves because it has the misfortune to air over at CBS. If it aired on Showtime, it would have swept the category.

    ReplyDelete
  159. It happens, like when Hannibal doesn't make it to the major awards, but in this particular case The Affair just happens to be excellent television. I'm not saying it is better than The Good Wife, but at the very least they are on the same league.

I can understand your frustration since you wanted TGW to win so badly, but the fact that The Affair is on cable didn't earn its win, it is actually good enough to earn it. And if cable is such a big bias, how come Halt and Catch Fire is not showered on awards merely because it is on AMC?

    ReplyDelete
  160. One of the best reactions yet to a Golden Globe Winner!!
    https://twitter.com/jarettsays/status/554473679493414912

    ReplyDelete
  161. No, as a fan of The Good Wife and The Affair, I will tell you that one is just as good as the other. They are both deserving. You're angry and entitled to that but don't belittle something you haven't seen to judge.

    ReplyDelete
  162. Agreed. James didn't get any Emmy love either which is disappointing.

    ReplyDelete
  163. Juliana Marguiles has won emmys. That is recognition some shows will never see

    ReplyDelete
  164. Yes it should. I don't understand that at all.

    ReplyDelete
  165. And can we please talk about Lisa Kudrow not being nominated. She wouldn't have won but at least she deserved to be nominated for The Comeback.

    ReplyDelete
  166. I know you'd probably laugh at me,but i couldn't even complete watching TGW pilot.LOL!

    ReplyDelete
  167. Who is this Odelle and why is she living?

    ReplyDelete
  168. LOL, I had the same reaction as you when I read Eric's comment.

    ReplyDelete
  169. And I think she does a pretty good job on Web Therapy too

    ReplyDelete
  170. I seriously need to get a Netflix account ASAP

    ReplyDelete
  171. But I'm talking about recognition for the SHOW itself. Sure, Julianna deserves all the awards in the world for the amazing performance she gives as Alicia Florrick. But the writing on The Good Wife is top-notch. It has had episodes that reached Breaking Bad's level of greatness. And it doesn't get an award because of some cable show? Please. The Good Wife has been snubbed from a Best Drama Golden Globe ever since it began. The show will end without the recognition it rightfully deserves. Why? because it airs on CBS.

    ReplyDelete
  172. All I care about right now is Julianna Margulies is about to present an award to George Clooney. My Doug and Carol heart is going to melt.

    ReplyDelete
  173. It depends on what failsJanuary 12, 2015 at 3:07 AM

    Crazier than her eyes.

    ReplyDelete
  174. when was that damn i blink and i missed this piece of art!

    ReplyDelete
  175. She really IS Crazy Eyes haha
