Why is Caitlin and Barry a choice instead of Barry and Iris? Caitlin is single, but I don't get the impression from the writers that there is meant to be any kind of romantic tension between those two. She acts more like his big sister. Whereas Barry has been pining for Iris since he was a kid,
There seem to be a lot of these polls lately, especially CW-centric. Same answer as the best couple poll from a couple weeks ago - Oliver and Felicity, runner up Clarke and Bellamy.
Damon and Bonnie. The chemistry they had during their short time together was better and far more entertaining then Damon and Elena have had in 6 seasons. Plus putting them together would fix one of the issues with the show (that Delena have are dull and boring).
Clarke just lost the love of her life in the worst possible way anyone could so Bellamy and her won't be getting together anytime soon if ever, hopefully in the second half of the season we'll get some more movement with Barry and Caitlin because their chemistry is amazing and they need to get together, and hopefully with Klaus and Camille it'll be before the end of the season because in the midseason finale the show finally revealed that Camille's in love with Klaus so it's just a matter of time hopefully, i need them together now

Damon and Bonnie, I'm not sure if I want them to be a couple. I don't care about Damon's love life at all (I don't really care about Damon himself that much) BUT I am enjoying their dynamic a lot this season, their scenes are fun, they have a lot of chemistry but I'm not sure if they would work as a couple. Plus I think Bonnie deserves better than a homicidal abuser vampire who is still in love with her best friend.
Isn't Barry in love with Iris and isn't Caitlin in love with Ronnie? I think these are the couples the show is writing for, not Barry and Caitlin which is so random.
I totally agree, and if Bellarke is going to happen this season, I am going to be very upset! I still think they wrote the whole Finn storyline to please the Bellarke fandom.
i think the show IS writing for them, their scenes are WAY too romantic to be anything but and also Danielle Panabaker said in an interview that the writers have cut some great scenes between hem because they want Barry and Caitlin to be more of a slow-burn
if that's true it makes me sick, Finn was an amazing character and before they took him the road he went on he was the thing the show needed:someone who hadn't killed and was the voice of reason and all he wanted was peace between everyone
As much as I would love to blame Bellarke for this; I don't think that's the case. If they wanted to ruin Finn and Clark's love; then Finn killing all those people would've been enough reason. I have no idea why they killed him but it was't the first time they killed a main character for no reason whatsoever, I mean, Wells anyone??!!!!
but you know Wells was barely a character Finn was the TRUE main male lead and they didn't ruin Finn and Clarke's love she understood and forgave him, God HE was the only one who didn't kill, HE was the first one not discriminate those bastard grounders, HE initiated a peace talk and the creator took HIM down this road WHY?!!!, WHY HIM OF ALL PEOPLE?!!!

Yeah she forgave him but if they wanted a reason they could've made her say "You killed all those innocent people, you are not the guy I fell in love with" and the guilt from the fact that he did it because of her would've been an obstacle. I'm just saying that they could've gone that route if they wanted to break them up they didn't have to kill him. I'm so angry that they did that to his character, I loved him so much! At least he redeemed himself :(
I'm just starting the 100 and Bellarke is ELECTRIC. good grief! I do enjoy a slow burn from slight antagonism to respect/friendship then to something that feels a bit more then that..to love. And bellamy and clarke seem to have a rather real relationship building there as a team and co-leaders. Plus the moments I've seen on tumblr are dreamy. :)
you realize that if the peace talk Finn initiated in season 1 would've worked the 100, the Arkers and those monstrous grounders would've been a force to be reckoned with against the mountain men
Voted for Olicity, but there is no why for me. They are best as a slow burn and less drama. As much as I love Clarke and Bellamy and their relationship, there has been no indication of any romantic feelings. So there is no question to why.
So true, but I think I remember reading a tweet from the writersroom at the beginning of the season that Finn's story wasn't originally that dark, so if Finn had stopped even after the first shot, I am sure he would be still alive. But maybe it is just wishful thinking on my side, because I am still quite angry that they killed my favorite character.
I would guess because they ran out of things to do with Finn. Finn's main functions were love interest and peacemaker. They don't want Clarke in a big romantic relationship at the moment - too many other things to do - so that had to not happen for a while, and Raven wasn't an excuse any more . And as far as peace goes, everyone's pretty pro-peace with the Mt. Weather people to fight. They don't need him to fight for peace, because everybody else has that covered; and if they ever need peacemakers again, they've still got the Octavia/Lincoln relationship to work with. They could have gone down a dark path with Finn after that shooting I guess, but I don't know where that would lead exactly - do they make him the new Murphy? Does he defect to Mt. Weather? I don't see pro-Finn or anti-Finn people being happy in that scenario. Besides, someone had to die. They didn't kill any major players in the finale, now that Jaha is saved, so there had to be a major death. This way they get to have a major death in a powerful way that affects a lot of their characters and their story going forward, changing a lot of dynamics between the characters in some fundamental ways. And all this for what is, you have to admit, not necessarily the most popular character among fans; and his death even made him more popular than he's been in a while, so the writers got to save his character in a way. The way he died was brave and poignant, and then he was gone before he could do anything else to make people dislike him again. Given the reactions, good and bad, to the death, they made a good call, at least in my opinion. No matter how you feel about it, there is almost no fan who isn't affected by that episode, and that's the ideal for TV deaths.
That's the reasoning as far as I see it. I was confused about what they were thinking too before it happened, but seeing how it played out, I think this was a really good move. But to be fair, while I never wanted Finn dead, I wasn't his biggest fan anyway. And I still got a little misty when he died because they wrote it so well. I know it sucks for everyone who liked him, and I'm sorry about that - been there - but story-wise, it feels like a good decision to me.
Yep, and you are right, the creator is not a fan of Bellarke, so hopefully it will not happen this season. I actually cared about Finn, I rather have him alive, if he is with Clarke is not that important to me.

Finn was a popular character just not of the Bellarke fans :-) I could have think a lot of storylines which involve him without being with Clarke. He was always more than just a love interest. The love triangle was badly written, but his character got a hit just to make look Raven good. I never liked Raven until the last episode.
Stiles & Lydia : I stopped watching Teen Wolf but yeah from what I saw (season 1, 2 and a part of 3) they were cute. Olivier & Felicity : I'm all for the "long term" or "wait until the end of the show" for them. They're amazing and I LOVE them but I can wait :) Bellamy & Clarke : My new OTP because I think those two characters really work well together and they would be great but they're absolutly not "there" yet. Clarke just lost Finn (and she really loved him). Again, I can wait :) they need a lot of time to become something more Caitlin & Barry : I think poeple ship them because of Olicity, they're also cute but I'm not really seeing it right now. Klaus & Camille : I stopped watching because I was starting to hate Klaus so..... lol stay away from him. Damon & Bonnie : they're my favorite thing about this season (even if more as friends) but they will never go there.... And I still ship Delena (but not as much as in S1, S2 and S3....)
Tbh I imagine it's more for clarke's growth then it is for the bellarke romance. If bellamy is there for her not as a rebound but as her constant to lean on and support I'll appreciate that a lot both for the characters and their relationship.
Stiles & Lydia i just don't see why are they keep going just a little for them to get them together and then just at that moment some disaster on someone else shows up and it is back to friends again.

Honestly, Bonnie and Damon are good friends, and just keep it that way, same goes for Stiles and Lydia. I don't care for Klaus and Cami, they just don't have any chemistry IMO. I am rooting for Caitlyn and Barry and Oliver and Felicity. As for Bellarke, I want them to be endgame, and that their relationship is built slow.
I agree. I said "big sister" but "mother hen" is actually a better term. I can get some people thinking that Barry and Iris are like siblings (even though I think they both have tons of chemistry), but Barry and Caitlin as a possible alternative just seems so random. Even Barry and Felicity have more chemistry than Barry and Caitlin.
Just re-watched that scene again to see what your talking about. There was no lean in whatsoever. She took a step toward him, which could indicate anything. I think your way off base with this one. Barry and Caitlin to me are just close friends and work better that way imo.
I think them as a couple would ruin their dynamic.
On the list: Oliver and Felicity followed by Damon and Bonnie. Off the list: TV: Stefan and Caroline: I think that the writers have botched the relationship a bit this season, but I still have hope. Chicago PD: Lindsey and Halstead The Good Wife: Alicia and Finn: Admittedly, it's a bit premature and there's also the issue of Alicia being married, but there are is so much chemistry between these two that it's hard to not to root for them.
Too early quite yet for Klaus/Camille and Bonnie/Damon but someday I hope. I'm sure there is others off the list but I'm not interested in any of the others on that list. Especially Stiles and Lydia since I like him with Malia.
I could say the same for some others on the list. Just because you say so doesn't mean it won't happen. I said the same about Stefan/Caroline for the longest time. I still think they should have stayed just friends.

I'm not sure that's true - the Finn not being popular because of Bellamy/Clarke part. I mean, I'm relatively new to the fandom, since I caught up in July, so I can't speak for everyone by any means; but I only got potentially interested in Bellamy and Clarke in the last couple episodes and only really started getting into them this season. I was kinda over Finn by episode four. I just found everyone else a lot more interesting. That's just me though.
I agree he was more than a love interest, I'm just saying I think the other function he served is mostly moot in light of the grounder/sky people truce. As far as Raven goes - wasn't she always Finn's girlfriend? As far as I can tell, her entire original purpose was to be Finn's girlfriend and be a Finn/Clarke foil, along with trying to get Abby to the ground. That being the case, nothing was done to make Raven look better or worse. Unlike Finn or Clarke, she wasn't written as just a character; like Lincoln, she was a character originally written to further the story of another character - for Lincoln, that's Octavia; for Raven it's Finn and Abby. She's more than that now, of course, but if she was created to be Finn's girlfriend that he left behind - and it seems like she was - then unless they wrote her as stereotypical bitch of some sort to make Finn look good, then from the moment she showed up there was no way for Finn to look anything but bad simply from her existing. In other words, your point makes no sense to me. Sorry, but since she was always the girlfriend, since that's what she was created to be, how could they have written it so that Finn came out of it looking good?
It's not because she's a werecoyote and he's not, I have no problem with that and I actually really like Malia's character, just not with Stiles. I just think her storyline is moving a bit fast, specially on the fact she spent 8 years in a animal body, and they put her straight on the dating scene. I would have prefer having a bit more character development before having her in a relationship with Stiles. That's why it feels wrong for me, and I have that feeling since the beginning of their relationship, in Eichen House, when they barely knew each other and they were both in a really bad place. Their scene in the basement really made me cringe.
First "one of those people" is pretty offending, everyone is entitled to his own opinion, don't be rude to people who don't have the same as you. And second, I don't think she still has the same age when she turned to a coyote, I guess it's just being in an animal body for 8 eight years it's not the same as growing up as a "normal" teenager. But of course I'm just guessing here, with the show being supernatural and pretty hard to relate to everyday situations.
I think the shipers want to see what they want to see, imho. People can go way too meta about an advice or a scene when it's just a good friend conforting another friend. They also "forget" about scenes like the one when Caitlin passed by a bruised and bloody Barry like it was nothing just to go see Ronnie(you can't speak about that scene on Tumblr, wich i find hilarious).
I seriously don't get why they ship them... It's not like Arrow, the main couples are working as for now. They are not making the same mistakes, those relationships develop more fast paced and without the baggage of Lauriver.
I'm not saying that they couldn't be together in the future, but right now people are seeing what they want to see. The is not hinting at that pairing romanticly, at all.
Bellamy and Clarke, but they need more development and make this happens in season 3, not now. I wait to see Camille and Klaus together since season 1.
Oliver and Felicity need to get together this Season. If not, their story will be dragged too much by annoying draaaama and will loose what made it special.

Barry and Caitlin isn't even hinted on the show. People online love to see what they want to see Jajaja I think the main relationships right now(Barry with Iris and Caitlin with Ronnie) are working pretty well. They are fast paced and organic.
I ship bellarke (like a hell of a lot) but I really don't think they should be together 'already' because they hated each other at first and they are still learning to trust and respect each other. As well as that considering what happened in the mid season finale I don't think Clarke is going to be ready to be in a relationship for a while now. It was epic but heartbreaking. They are comrades and friends now and I think that if we get more seasons then their relationship will progress and they will come to be more than friends(at least that's what I hope). For now though I think that their partners/co-leaders thing they have going on is really nice to watch and the relationship is well paced. Slow burn is more realistic and just better to watch in my opinion. I voted for Stydia because well even though it was one sided at the start they have had a lot of progress throughout the seasons and it has been built up really well and I would love if they got together in Season 5. :)
Why do people like Damon? Is it okay that he sexually assaulted Caroline because he's a vampire? I gave up on TVD because of all the Damon. Anyways my vote will be for Bellamy & Clarke. These two have something I haven't seen on any other show I've watched. Growth understanding respect & equals. It's truly beautiful to watch. I'll actually be okay if they never get together as long as they continue what they share now. But obviously I still want them together the sooner the better. Eliza & Bob also share the most chemistry I've seen from two actors whose characters have yet to show any romantic feelings. Despite Finn's death & survival as the main premise I think the 100.. if given more seasons.. can tell an amazing story with Clarke & Bellamy's relationship. ** oh and last thoughts.. I appreciate Oliver& Felicity granted I've only seen some of Arrow season 2 and season 3 because it's on before the 100. I get their chemistry and their potential. BUT if I were a huge Arrow fan I'd certainly grow tired of their drama/ back and forth stuff. Their story just doesn't seemed to be written well so I hope like the name of this poll.. They should just get together (for good) or not ever.

Barry has never shown any romantic feelings for Caitlin, but he has shown feelings for Iris. I have no doubt that he will eventually date Caitlin, but I also have no doubt that he'll end up with Iris.
That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard. This a poll for couples who aren't together, but maybe should be together. You're a Delena shipper. Good for you. It's people like you who make the rest of the fandom hate Delena shippers. Y'all make the most ridiculous comments to things that have nothing to do with your ship at all. Delena makes me want to barf every time they share a scene, but you don't see me commenting on that pairing. I stay out of conversations that deal with ships I hate. Grow up!
Raven never was just the girlfriend, she is the young, troubled mechanic who was needed for her skills on the ground, who just joined the group a bit later. I think her role was always to be one of the 100. Finn took the fall for her skywalk, was separated from her for months and then sent to the ground. His mistake was that he did not tell her the minute she practically fell out of the sky, that he thought she was dead and he fell for Clarke. The fandom thought he played with both girls, but that is not really true given the timeline. Raven clinged to him even tough she realized that Finn had feelings for Clarke. The girls bonded and everybody hated Finn - to put it very simple. But I think it was a misconception that Finn was really disliked because I lot of people actually miss him.
Finn had great ideas in season 1. His friendship with Lincoln was great, the writers could have explored that in season 2 instead of the chosen storyline for Lincoln and Finn. Finn was stabbed by Lincoln and still the first one to reach out to him, that storyline got completely dropped this season, which I think is sad. That was my point, Finn had so much potential but instead they let him kill innocent people in an short instant and changed his whole character and killed him at the end.
So far there is no romantic relationship between Clarke and Bellamy in the script. Even tough the fandom asked for Finn's death in season 1 already to get him out of the way, the creator said he loved them all and all characters are equal. And to mark a point people even may think J.Rothenberg has marginalized Bellamy's role in season 2 to prove that. Bellamy had his story arc in season 1 from bad by to good guy, but now with the sky people on the ground he is not really needed any more. He has no leadership role this season, and I doubt with Kane, Jaha, and Abby around he will be anything more than Clarke's sidekick. The creator's goal is the 100 to be more than a teenage show, which he achieved actually, and he already hinted that there will be no romance this season except for the one between Lincoln and Octavia. So far the women always come out on top, because J.R. loves his strong women. So I wonder who will be next to die?
Olicity all the way Damon and Bonnie I want see as friends again soon. I hope the 100 gets cancelled before Bellamy and Clarke get together and for the rest it is a yes, but I don't really care.
I Completely agree with you. People are just shipping them for the sake of shipping a non-canon couple. But tbh I think the only way they wouldn't ship them was if Caitlin was really ugly or morbidly obese or something lol.
What's funny for me is when they go "OMG, she was leanning for a hug, she is so in love!" and i'm like "woah! can't a friend hug a friend? Is a hug now a love confession?". People make everything romantic and the weird part is that they actually end up believing it themselves. And i HATE when people force parallels with Olicity(even when the show makes parallels with Barry/Oliver and Iris/Felicity). Olicity was born out of necessity, because if Lauriver wasn't a complete failure on the concept design side then people shoudln't have had the need to scout for a replacement. Barry and Iris work. Caitlin and Ronnie work. At least for now. There's no point.
The problem with Klays and Camille is that they lack a spark. There is no fire, no passion , no nothing. Every time they are together she is always lecturing him, acting as though she kmows hom when really, plenty of others know him more than she does. Also, their entire dynamic is a replica of what Klaus and aroline had. Yes she umderstood his pain and problems, but she never excused his bad attitude and even worse actions for his problems. Not only is thier dynamic completely as carbon copy of Klaroline But their chemisty is off and barely makes a mark. Klaus amd Camille are thoroughly unoriginal and unmemorable as a couple.
I voted Stiles and Lydia, but I also want Damon & Bonnie and Caitlin & Barry to happen, especially Bamon, they are the reason why I want to catch up on this terrible show.
Honestly, people who gripe about these relationships giving then too much of a friendship vibe are annoying. Maybe if more relationships started off and progressed in a natural and realistic way like all of these have, without having to be forced and TOLD by the show that they were "epic" or any other crap people NEED to be shown to ship something, maybe they could be more successful and less toxic. Looking at you, Delena, Flarke, and Klaroline. Especially Delena. Anyway, I ship em all but my order definitely goes Damon/Bonnie, Bellamy/Clarke, Oliver/Felicity, Klaus/Camille, and Stiles/Lydia. Barry/Cate is okay but I prefer Barry/Iris, they're just way too cute to ignore.
Including Barry and Caitlin but not Barry & Iris (or even Caitlin & Ronnie) makes about as much sense as including Barry and Wells or Barry and Cisco would have.
Camille has never seen Klaus do anything bad? He's done bad things to HER and the people around her. The difference is Caroline doesn't understand who Klaus is at all. She thinks it's as simple as "you do bad, so you're bad" while Cami has said "I don't believe in evil as a diagnosis." For Caroline, Klaus pretends to change for her. With Cami, he has grown because she challenged him to for himself. Chemistry is definitely subjective because while I deff see it with Klaroline, I deff see it with Klamille too. But I don't get the hype about shipping Klaus with a teenager who doesn't get him or want him at all, when there is a grown and mature woman who believes in his change. I love Caroline, but honestly, Klaus destroyed her life and the people around her. I believe in forgiveness but she would look like a complete fool for falling for him again. Klaus may be enamored by her but he doesn't respect her at all.
Damon and Bonnie will never be a romantic pairing! Barry/Caitlin? Lol! The show is all abt Barry and Iris! Btw I find Caitlin and Firestorm hotter. Olicity will happen for a while but idk they seem weird. Don't watch Teen wolf! Klamille is a boring pair no offense. Clarke/Bellamy has super potential but it needs clever writing where it does not appear rushed coz I really think the show is writing towards these two now.
Ok. Lets take a look at the Klaroline relatiinship versus Klamille : "Caroline doesnt understand Klaus" -Not true. She understands him well. She knows his habits and thr way he treats others. She has observed yhis when she witnessed him with his hybrids and family. She has spoken to him on numerous occasions where he talked about his past, his plans and hus feelings. Every conversation that Klaus has had with Camill hasnt told any of the viewers anything new. Caroline knew about his dysfunctional family. She also knew that he was paranoid, controlling and downright cruel. She never let that stop her from getting close and trying to help him. So the whole argument that Camille understands isnt invalid, it is instead underwhelming because caroline understood him first because she knew him and his character first.
Caroline thinks to klaus "you do bad, so you are bad". -Of course she thinks that, and its not wrong. Our actions make up our character. Does doing wrong make us completely bad...no. But. All of us have a bad side, especially Klaus. This show is even foundes.upon the idea that Klaus is a villan, or "Bad Guy", but as we know ( as well as every character he has ever encountered, like Caroline and Camille) , he is not all bad. And Caroline understands this and even mentions, several times, that he isnt all bad and there is good inside of him (TVD episodes 3x16,18,22; 4x13,14,19). Heck, even in episode 4x07 she acknowledges that she isnt so good too, she isnt better than him or anyone else. Im season 5, after their encounter , she even said that she "saw the good in Klaus" (TVD, episode 5x13??)
For mine they were not on the list and it was Elijah and Haley, sure they have came together but they are not a couple there is always something that is standing in their way. But on the list I would have to say Cami and Klaus at one time I thought they would kiss but they did not I am hoping they are endgame just like I would Elijah and Haley.
And Damon and Bonnie, event though I have always been a Delena fan but I don't think that Damon and Elena are getting boring. I love Ian don't get me wrong I don't know but I just think Bonnie and Damon would be a good dyamic. That is the vampire Diaries and on the Originals it will always be Haley and Elijah and no love triangles.
I don't think it's a matter of fanatism: the relationship is already exhausted. Unless Damon finds another love interest and fast, there would be no audience left to root for either one brother or the other.
Bellamy and Clark are disgusting together and I will never see the appeal. But then again I don't understand anyone who could watch a great show like The 100 and actually bother to ship anyone when the romance is by far the least interesting thing happening on that show.
Damon and bonnie have no chemistry Jeremy and Elena have more chemistry then those to do Damon and Caroline have more chemistry then those too also Elena and Alaric scenes in the first few ep was more entertaining and was the only reason I could watch the first few ep while Damon made it back to Elena thanks to bonnie
Oliver and Felicity seem to be the only mentioned couple that seem close to that point, not that I think they should be a couple. But the others don't really seem like are even within a hair of getting together at all, as they just are not written that way.
tvd - would need new writers. the originals - I don't think Klaus is capable of being in a relationship like that. the flash - no signs of it at all the 100 - don't see it now, but I am sure they will get there at some point teen wolf - seems like they've written Lydia to be more platonic or that Styles actually cares anymore
I don't wanna be a party-pooper, but he's in love with Iris and she still loves Robbie. If it does happen one day, it'll be a long time away. But I say this I love their ship name, it sounds like a drink. Snowberry it's so cool sounding.
I really don't want any romantic stuff with Klaus right now. I'm really enjoying his growing humanity and newfound protective nature regarding friends and family, and honestly I don't want any romantic drama to pop up.

True, but a) they still explored it. b) it's Iris and Barry, there's no way it's not going to happen for a bit, especially since it'd be a good motive for Eddie to hate Barry and to cause drama if the show does to Iris what Zoom did to her in the comics. C) Iris and Barry actually have chemistry and Iris isn't hated like Laurel is by most fans. D) His confession seems to be a step in that direction. Again I'm not saying it won't happen I'm just saying don't expect Snowberry (still love that name) to happen soon.
yes I am I see a brother sister vibe at best from them the fact that they had to push a friendship between those two was funny enough and the chemistry Damon has with Elena and the chemistry bonnie has with jeremy now that is a lot of chemistry but tbh stefan and caroline should be were bonnie and damon are in this poll. But to me I dont see how bonnie is better for Damon I keep laughing when I see that cause she helps out with one thing which was just listening to him and that makes her so good for him, thats what I guess friends are for but elena helping change him in to a better man over the years is I guess nothing thehn. I'm usually the one who doesn't like the series to mess with the comics and the comics to mess with the series(I'm not fond of the idea of Digg and Felicity taking Fyff and Naomi's place), but i would lie if i say i wouldn't like an Oliver Queen more like his comic counter-part and less Bruce "i'm sad and lonely" Wayne.
I would like that (though I don't have a problem with Oliver's current characterization and would argue that besides both being dark and probably PTSD ridden they're quite different.) as well.

Oh, I LOVE DIGGLE AND FELICITY, but comics are comics, movies are movies and series are series.
And Green Arrow and Arrow were WAAAAAAAAAY too diferent. Now? Not so much and i sense it's gonna get darker and "serious" and arrower(yes, i make that word up).
You have years and years and years of story in comics and i fear that given the success of the show, they are gonna turn that world upside down just to see if they can lure Arrow viewers into the comics.
Do urself a favor,don't watch just coz of the hope of seeing bamon together in a romantic way coz trust me,as long as caroline as long as julie & caroline are alive,damon will never get involved with anyone other than delena.They are way too obsessed with that toxic couple.
Bonnie and Damon's friendship is too good to be ruined by romance. I'm ok with stiles and Malia they're fun to watch and Stiles and Lydia established a nice friendship. Oliver and Felicity can be a good couple for my taste. But I voted for Klaus and Camille. I honestly love their friendship but they can be a way better couple than TO's current pairings only if they're handled properly. I like to see the writers go there if they can actually write sth good and not mess up like they did with other couples.
Trust me you don't want romantic Bamon. The writers can't write an interesting and non-toxic romantic couple. If they turn Bamon romantic, it will surely be ruined and their friendship is just too entertaining to be ruined by unnecessary drama. I'd rather watch DE and have awesome Bamon moments along with it rather than seeing writers pull another Steroline and destroy one of the best things this season. C'mon I love my Bamon.-_-
I didn't say it would, I just love their scenes together, and I would prefer to see them together over Malia/Stiles, that's it. But I can understand you don't have the same opinion as me and it's okay.
that'd be hilarious and as weird as it is in season 1 i really thought Henry had a little crush on Claire where Emma first met Jefferson and saw Claire and then asked Henry to see the Storybook for a second and then saw Jefferson and Claire in the Storybook and Emma's belief started and then when Henry when to Jefferson to get Jefferson to reunite with his daughter, i guess it didn't pan out
this is hard omg, i'm picking between oliver/felicity and stiles/lydia! both have had seasons of build-up and it's about time both of them get together. for some reason i ship barry and caitlin a lot, but they shouldn't be together yet. slow burn is good for them. i also ship barry and iris, and i think it's more fitting that that pair should be in this poll. but for the flash, all ships are too eaarly to be in this poll; 9 episodes is not enough.

At least he redeemed himself :(

I do enjoy a slow burn from slight antagonism to respect/friendship then to something that feels a bit more then that..to love. And bellamy and clarke seem to have a rather real relationship building there as a team and co-leaders. Plus the moments I've seen on tumblr are dreamy. :)

ReplyDeleteI would guess because they ran out of things to do with Finn. Finn's main functions were love interest and peacemaker. They don't want Clarke in a big romantic relationship at the moment - too many other things to do - so that had to not happen for a while, and Raven wasn't an excuse any more . And as far as peace goes, everyone's pretty pro-peace with the Mt. Weather people to fight. They don't need him to fight for peace, because everybody else has that covered; and if they ever need peacemakers again, they've still got the Octavia/Lincoln relationship to work with. They could have gone down a dark path with Finn after that shooting I guess, but I don't know where that would lead exactly - do they make him the new Murphy? Does he defect to Mt. Weather? I don't see pro-Finn or anti-Finn people being happy in that scenario. Besides, someone had to die. They didn't kill any major players in the finale, now that Jaha is saved, so there had to be a major death. This way they get to have a major death in a powerful way that affects a lot of their characters and their story going forward, changing a lot of dynamics between the characters in some fundamental ways. And all this for what is, you have to admit, not necessarily the most popular character among fans; and his death even made him more popular than he's been in a while, so the writers got to save his character in a way. The way he died was brave and poignant, and then he was gone before he could do anything else to make people dislike him again. Given the reactions, good and bad, to the death, they made a good call, at least in my opinion. No matter how you feel about it, there is almost no fan who isn't affected by that episode, and that's the ideal for TV deaths.
ReplyDeleteThat's the reasoning as far as I see it. I was confused about what they were thinking too before it happened, but seeing how it played out, I think this was a really good move. But to be fair, while I never wanted Finn dead, I wasn't his biggest fan anyway. And I still got a little misty when he died because they wrote it so well. I know it sucks for everyone who liked him, and I'm sorry about that - been there - but story-wise, it feels like a good decision to me.
Yep, and you are right, the creator is not a fan of Bellarke, so hopefully it will not happen this season. I actually cared about Finn, I rather have him alive, if he is with Clarke is not that important to me.

ReplyDeleteFinn was a popular character just not of the Bellarke fans :-) I could have think a lot of storylines which involve him without being with Clarke. He was always more than just a love interest. The love triangle was badly written, but his character got a hit just to make look Raven good. I never liked Raven until the last episode.

I can get some people thinking that Barry and Iris are like siblings (even though I think they both have tons of chemistry), but Barry and Caitlin as a possible alternative just seems so random. ReplyDeleteI'm not sure that's true - the Finn not being popular because of Bellamy/Clarke part. I mean, I'm relatively new to the fandom, since I caught up in July, so I can't speak for everyone by any means; but I only got potentially interested in Bellamy and Clarke in the last couple episodes and only really started getting into them this season. I was kinda over Finn by episode four. I just found everyone else a lot more interesting. That's just me though.

As far as Raven goes - wasn't she always Finn's girlfriend? As far as I can tell, her entire original purpose was to be Finn's girlfriend and be a Finn/Clarke foil, along with trying to get Abby to the ground. That being the case, nothing was done to make Raven look better or worse. Unlike Finn or Clarke, she wasn't written as just a character; like Lincoln, she was a character originally written to further the story of another character - for Lincoln, that's Octavia; for Raven it's Finn and Abby. She's more than that now, of course, but if she was created to be Finn's girlfriend that he left behind - and it seems like she was - then unless they wrote her as stereotypical bitch of some sort to make Finn look good, then from the moment she showed up there was no way for Finn to look anything but bad simply from her existing. In other words, your point makes no sense to me. Sorry, but since she was always the girlfriend, since that's what she was created to be, how could they have written it so that Finn came out of it looking good?
Bellamy and Clarke. As far as Bonnie and Damon, that's a hard one because I'm not sure I want them as a romantic couple, but I do love the friendship.

I just think her storyline is moving a bit fast, specially on the fact she spent 8 years in a animal body, and they put her straight on the dating scene. I would have prefer having a bit more character development before having her in a relationship with Stiles. That's why it feels wrong for me, and I have that feeling since the beginning of their relationship, in Eichen House, when they barely knew each other and they were both in a really bad place. Their scene in the basement really made me cringe.

They also "forget" about scenes like the one when Caitlin passed by a bruised and bloody Barry like it was nothing just to go see Ronnie(you can't speak about that scene on Tumblr, wich i find hilarious).
ReplyDeleteI seriously don't get why they ship them... It's not like Arrow, the main couples are working as for now. They are not making the same mistakes, those relationships develop more fast paced and without the baggage of Lauriver.
I'm not saying that they couldn't be together in the future, but right now people are seeing what they want to see. The is not hinting at that pairing romanticly, at all.

I ship bellarke (like a hell of a lot) but I really don't think they should be together 'already' because they hated each other at first and they are still learning to trust and respect each other. As well as that considering what happened in the mid season finale I don't think Clarke is going to be ready to be in a relationship for a while now. It was epic but heartbreaking. They are comrades and friends now and I think that if we get more seasons then their relationship will progress and they will come to be more than friends(at least that's what I hope). For now though I think that their partners/co-leaders thing they have going on is really nice to watch and the relationship is well paced. Slow burn is more realistic and just better to watch in my opinion. I voted for Stydia because well even though it was one sided at the start they have had a lot of progress throughout the seasons and it has been built up really well and I would love if they got together in Season 5. :)

ReplyDeleteWhy do people like Damon? Is it okay that he sexually assaulted Caroline because he's a vampire? I gave up on TVD because of all the Damon. Anyways my vote will be for Bellamy & Clarke. These two have something I haven't seen on any other show I've watched. Growth understanding respect & equals. It's truly beautiful to watch. I'll actually be okay if they never get together as long as they continue what they share now. But obviously I still want them together the sooner the better. Eliza & Bob also share the most chemistry I've seen from two actors whose characters have yet to show any romantic feelings. Despite Finn's death & survival as the main premise I think the 100.. if given more seasons.. can tell an amazing story with Clarke & Bellamy's relationship.
ReplyDelete** oh and last thoughts.. I appreciate Oliver& Felicity granted I've only seen some of Arrow season 2 and season 3 because it's on before the 100. I get their chemistry and their potential. BUT if I were a huge Arrow fan I'd certainly grow tired of their drama/ back and forth stuff. Their story just doesn't seemed to be written well so I hope like the name of this poll.. They should just get together (for good) or not ever.

ReplyDeleteRaven never was just the girlfriend, she is the young, troubled mechanic who was needed for her skills on the ground, who just joined the group a bit later. I think her role was always to be one of the 100. Finn took the fall for her skywalk, was separated from her for months and then sent to the ground. His mistake was that he did not tell her the minute she practically fell out of the sky, that he thought she was dead and he fell for Clarke. The fandom thought he played with both girls, but that is not really true given the timeline. Raven clinged to him even tough she realized that Finn had feelings for Clarke. The girls bonded and everybody hated Finn - to put it very simple. But I think it was a misconception that Finn was really disliked because I lot of people actually miss him.
Finn had great ideas in season 1. His friendship with Lincoln was great, the writers could have explored that in season 2 instead of the chosen storyline for Lincoln and Finn. Finn was stabbed by Lincoln and still the first one to reach out to him, that storyline got completely dropped this season, which I think is sad. That was my point, Finn had so much potential but instead they let him kill innocent people in an short instant and changed his whole character and killed him at the end.
So far there is no romantic relationship between Clarke and Bellamy in the script. Even tough the fandom asked for Finn's death in season 1 already to get him out of the way, the creator said he loved them all and all characters are equal. And to mark a point people even may think J.Rothenberg has marginalized Bellamy's role in season 2 to prove that. Bellamy had his story arc in season 1 from bad by to good guy, but now with the sky people on the ground he is not really needed any more. He has no leadership role this season, and I doubt with Kane, Jaha, and Abby around he will be anything more than Clarke's sidekick. The creator's goal is the 100 to be more than a teenage show, which he achieved actually, and he already hinted that there will be no romance this season except for the one between Lincoln and Octavia. So far the women always come out on top, because J.R. loves his strong women. So I wonder who will be next to die?

Olicity was born out of necessity, because if Lauriver wasn't a complete failure on the concept design side then people shoudln't have had the need to scout for a replacement.

Every time they are together she is always lecturing him, acting as though she kmows hom when really, plenty of others know him more than she does. Also, their entire dynamic is a replica of what Klaus and aroline had. Yes she umderstood his pain and problems, but she never excused his bad attitude and even worse actions for his problems. Not only is thier dynamic completely as carbon copy of Klaroline

ReplyDeleteHonestly, people who gripe about these relationships giving then too much of a friendship vibe are annoying. Maybe if more relationships started off and progressed in a natural and realistic way like all of these have, without having to be forced and TOLD by the show that they were "epic" or any other crap people NEED to be shown to ship something, maybe they could be more successful and less toxic. Looking at you, Delena, Flarke, and Klaroline. Especially Delena. Anyway, I ship em all but my order definitely goes Damon/Bonnie, Bellamy/Clarke, Oliver/Felicity, Klaus/Camille, and Stiles/Lydia. Barry/Cate is okay but I prefer Barry/Iris, they're just way too cute to ignore.

ReplyDeleteCamille has never seen Klaus do anything bad? He's done bad things to HER and the people around her. The difference is Caroline doesn't understand who Klaus is at all. She thinks it's as simple as "you do bad, so you're bad" while Cami has said "I don't believe in evil as a diagnosis." For Caroline, Klaus pretends to change for her. With Cami, he has grown because she challenged him to for himself. Chemistry is definitely subjective because while I deff see it with Klaroline, I deff see it with Klamille too. But I don't get the hype about shipping Klaus with a teenager who doesn't get him or want him at all, when there is a grown and mature woman who believes in his change. I love Caroline, but honestly, Klaus destroyed her life and the people around her. I believe in forgiveness but she would look like a complete fool for falling for him again. Klaus may be enamored by her but he doesn't respect her at all.

This show is even foundes.upon the idea that Klaus is a villan, or "Bad Guy", but as we know ( as well as every character he has ever encountered, like Caroline and Camille) , he is not all bad.
And Caroline understands this and even mentions, several times, that he isnt all bad and there is good inside of him (TVD episodes 3x16,18,22; 4x13,14,19). Heck, even in episode 4x07 she acknowledges that she isnt so good too, she isnt better than him or anyone else. Im season 5, after their encounter , she even said that she "saw the good in Klaus" (TVD, episode 5x13??)

For mine they were not on the list and it was Elijah and Haley, sure they have came together but they are not a couple there is always something that is standing in their way. C) Iris and Barry actually have chemistry and Iris isn't hated like Laurel is by most fans. D) His confession seems to be a step in that direction. But to me I dont see how bonnie is better for Damon I keep laughing when I see that cause she helps out with one thing which was just listening to him and that makes her so good for him, thats what I guess friends are for but elena helping change him in to a better man over the years is I guess nothing thehn. ReplyDeleteI'm usually the one who doesn't like the series to mess with the comics and the comics to mess with the series(I'm not fond of the idea of Digg and Felicity taking Fyff and Naomi's place), but i would lie if i say i wouldn't like an Oliver Queen more like his comic counter-part and less Bruce "i'm sad and lonely" Wayne.
I would like that (though I don't have a problem with Oliver's current characterization and would argue that besides both being dark and probably PTSD ridden they're quite different.) as well.

ReplyDeleteAnd Green Arrow and Arrow were WAAAAAAAAAY too diferent. Now? Not so much and i sense it's gonna get darker and "serious" and arrower(yes, i make that word up).
You have years and years and years of story in comics and i fear that given the success of the show, they are gonna turn that world upside down just to see if they can lure Arrow viewers into the comics.
I love Jeff and Annie and that season finale gave me so much hope...it needs to happen, like now.

Oliver and Felicity can be a good couple for my taste. But I voted for Klaus and Camille. I like to see the writers go there if they can actually write sth good and not mess up like they did with other couples.

If they turn Bamon romantic, it will surely be ruined and their friendship is just too entertaining to be ruined by unnecessary drama.
