Justice League films
Aquaman
Shazam
Flash
Enough of Batman and Superman
all of them except not so sure about Shazam, is he really a good enough superhero to have a movie?
ReplyDeleteJustice League, Suicide Squad and Aquaman.

ReplyDeleteSuicide Squad!!! The cast seems quite interesting.
ReplyDeleteTotally underwhelmed by the actor they choose for the Flash.
This poll really made me realize I am a Marvel girl. I'm only excited about 2 of these movies, and those two fall far behind the Marvel movies I'm excited about. I guess I love DC shows more than their movies.
ReplyDeleteunderstandable, so are you seeing ALL DC shows including Titans and Supergirl
ReplyDeleteWow, I had no idea how much of a marvel person I was until I saw this poll...I'll probably never watch any of them :/ I've tried all their current shows though, I didn't last long on Gotham or The Flash and dropped Arrow mid-way through season 2, I didn't like Smallville either. If Constantine gets renewed though I'll be sticking with that one. I plan on checking out some of their future shows too.
ReplyDeleteCurrently none.
ReplyDeleteMan Of Steel was very eh (didn't amaze me but I didn't hate it like some people do) and Batman V Superman seems like a Clusterf$%k so far. Planning on waiting for reviews and further information before I decide if I'm going to see any further DC movies.
While I love DC's TV efforts (and will pretty much watch anything put on TV lately), their live action movie efforts (past and present) haven't ever really captivated me. The animated movies though still impress me.
Now if only their animated TV shows could live up to the greatness they had 2+ years ago. Ever since they cancelled Young Justice, their animated shows have gone downhill greatly.
Live Action Movies: Marvel > DC
Animated TV Shows: Marvel > DC (lately)
Live Action TV shows: DC > Marvel
Animated Movies: DC > Marvel
Guess I'm a DC fan more than Marvel since most of these appeal to me more than the upcoming Marvel films. I have not loved a Marvel film outside of the X-Men and Blade franchises. Truth be told I probably won't see any of them in theater either way....
ReplyDeleteNo, just The Flash an Arrow. I'm not even a fan of Gotham. I tried. I would try any they put on TV honestly, non-animated. I think DC does TV well, Marvel does movies well. That said, I am really excited for Agent Carter.
ReplyDeleteNone really. I'm a Marvel person. Not interested in any of these. However I voted for Aquaman because I met Jason Momoa a few months ago and got a photo with him. So once that comes out and he's a big star I can use the photo for bragging rights ;)
ReplyDeleteJason is pretty well known already :P I've known him since his Stargate Atlantis days
ReplyDeleteI mean non-tv people. Only reason that I knew him was because of Game of Thrones.
ReplyDeleteI will watch them all, but I am very sceptical. Marvel has found a way to make their heroes work for mass audience. Nolan had accomplished that for Batman - don't know how they will do this with their new DC-verse. Most excited for:
ReplyDelete1) Suicide Squad
2) Justice Leauge
3) Superman v Batman
Very very curious of Aquaman, always have liked the mythologie of this one and I like the casting, just hope it turns out good (Conan was awful, loved him on Stragate Atlantis and GoT).
Don't know what to think about The Falsh, and it also beeing Barry Allen, as if there are not enough Falsh's out there.
None, although i'm a huge DC fan, i don't see this movies being any good. I wish i can say that i will watch some of them, but i can't. I hope that i'm completely wrong and that the movies, won't suck as much as i think they will.
ReplyDeleteMy 3 picks:
ReplyDelete1. BvS - because it's very much a declaration of intentions for WB/DC. While MoS was the first film in their shared universe, BvS will do a lot more setup for the upcoming films and will give an indication of how well-planned things are.
2. Justice League - because you can't NOT get excited when a group of superheroes teams up to battle evil.
3. Wonder Woman - because it's about damn time female superheroes got some attention (it's only been 9 years since Elektra...). Hopefully, WW and Captain Marvel in the following year will open the floodgates.
Suicide Squad sounds cool too, especially with the recent casting of Viola Davis as Amanda Waller.
In this exact order-Justice league,Batman Vs Superman & Suicide Squad.
ReplyDeleteAll of them. Especially Justice League and Wonder Woman.
ReplyDeleteI have 0 interest in any of the upcoming Marvel movies except for X Men Apocalypse and The Sinister Six if they include Black Cat. The rest meh.
I don't think female superhero movies will take off as long as there are no female action stars to fill the roles.
ReplyDeleteif they wanted to make a flash movie they shouldn't have started the series...
ReplyDeleteI'am most looking forward to Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad!
ReplyDeleteI'm most looking forward to JL2 due to the awesomeness of the first one
ReplyDeleteI picked Justice League. I want to see how DC's first ensemble compares to Marvel's. I do hope that DC remembers that the movie is supposed to be fun though. I swear, if it is dour and broody without a hint of light, I will lose all faith in this DC movie universe.
ReplyDeleteWho the heck cares about a Cyborg solo movie? LOL. He's has no decent supporting characters, no decent villains, etc. The best thing he had going for him was his relationships with the Titans, which is going to be ignored. Meh.
Does the success of these movies really have that much to do with that? I doubt most of the male leads in these films are certified action stars. Also, Jennifer Garner who portrayed Elektra in the aforementioned film had action experience from Alias and Daredevil, and did a lot of her own stunts and fighting... yet the film sucked.
ReplyDeleteSuicide Squad. I dare say Im more excited for this movie than any of the new slated Marvel movies.
ReplyDeleteIt seems that actresses aren't even expected to prepare for these roles. They get cast, follow their normal diet and exercise routine, and get applauded for gaining the barest amount of muscle definition.
ReplyDeleteI may be alone but I just can't get into movies where a woman with the stature of a fashion model is beating up guys twice her size. Obviously I don't expect actresses to Hulk out for these roles but they should at least be somewhat comparable to female athletes .
Are audiences supposed to have low to no expectations for female action stars(and superheroes)?
Justice League Suicide Squad Wonder Woman Batman vs Sumperman : Dawn of Justice
ReplyDeleteWhy the limit?
ReplyDeleteEverything except Suicide Squad and Shazam
