None on the list, but the one show I miss the most is House MD. I just loved the characters and the acting by Hugh Laurie in particular was excellent. The majority of the cast has had lead roles on other series since which is a testament to that. It was great to see House come on Netflix earlier in the year too - I normally watch one or two episodes at random each week.
Well, this wasn't canceled but i have to say Fringe. I still miss this show so much and ever since it ended i haven't found another show that rocks my world...
Others are: Revolution, Alias, Stargate SG1 and Atlantis,Eureka, Farscape and LOST. The list could go on..
Chuck wasn't really cancelled, i mean they gave us an ending (a horrible one but still), cancelled for me means a show with no ending like Tomorrow People, Revolution, etc.
Of the ones listed then Don't Trust the Bitch. Others include Enlightened, Caprica, Alphas, The Fades, Happy Endings, Ben and Kate, Trophy Wife, Enlisted and Southland.
Veronica Mars and other for me. There are soooo many great cancelled shows that weren't included in this list (thankfully I have most of the ones I love on DVD). My top two "others" right now are Witches of East End and Revolution. I was devastated when both of them were cancelled this year.
I still miss Fringe as well as Alias and LOST. Thankfully those shows all got a decent send off. Words can not express how happy I was that Fringe got it's final season. Revolution? Wow did that cliffhanger ending piss me off. I need resolution to that show. Still. It's kinda like Dark Angel, it had a fantastic setup for a third season and then cancelled. Sucks.
I will always hate how the OC got cut short even though it had rebounded creatively in the 4th season in my opinion. I will always wonder if Taylor and Ryan ever reunited. (Screw what josh said about Taylor and Nate Archibald)
Same, I hate it when you get false hope that it may happen and the it doesn't. Same thing happened in 2013 with rumours that USA network would pick up Happy Endings, then it didn't happen.
Recently - Witches of East End and Dallas. There are too many shows I've watched that were cancelled the past few years that I could list a ton. From the list - 666 Park Avenue, Ringer, Terra Nova, Alcatraz, The Lying Game, Smash, The River, Charlie's Angels, and the 2012 version of Partners, but I wouldn't say I miss them all, but some of them I do.
Firefly, The Sarah Connor Chronicles, The Secret Circle, Star-Crossed, Leverage, Witches of East End, and probably a bunch of others that I can't think of
For me : KYLE XY; cause the end is not an END , it's full a questions and unresolved mystery . Plus i would have loved to FINALLY see Kyle and Jessi as a couple ! I loved these two !!
Actually non of the listed above. Pushing Daisies first and foremost: there was so much more waiting for us in further seasons! The Secret Circle and Flashforward because those two shows had great potential and I wanted to see TSC becoming truly fun and exciting while Flashfoward could hit really heavy emotional ground, but none of those two had enough time to get there
True, but my TV schedule looks weird without HIMYM on it. I wish Nikita and HIMYM went on for at least one more season. Especially Nikita. The last season had only 6 episodes instead of 22.
Not really any on the list but off the list I'd say Firefly, Farscape, Buffy & Angel, Dark Angel, Deadwood, Being Human (BBC), and Pushing Daises would be at the top. I'd also include a few older more obscure ones like American Gothic and MaxHeadroom. Those are just the ones I can come up with quickly.
Ditto for Revolution! I don't see why they couldn't give them a shorten season as well an shown it during the summer,at least they could of wrapped up everyone's storyline!
I would've been down with a short final season of Revolution. Hell even a movie to wrap everything up. I just hate how most cancelled shows don't know until after the season has wrapped whether or not they'll get picked up. It makes for a lot of cliffhangers and I loathe cliffhangers.
I know it ended on its own terms, but I still do miss Nikita. I am of course very happy it got a final season to wrap things up, but I wouldn't have mind having more seasons of that show. Same with LOST. And I miss The Tomorrow People. It wasn't perfect and The Flash kind of fills up the hole, but I would have loved to see a second season.
huh I was not able to vote, as none of these really were a super loss to me, I liked Terra Nova in the beginning but It was unable to hold my interest in the long run. This was the case for a couple of others here. I keep meaning to go back and watch Veronica Mars but have not yet
Of the ones listed, only Kyle XY and Veronica Mars, but really the drama shows I am missing the most right now are Leverage and Burn Notice. Nothing is quite filling their void. I also wish that Star-Crossed had been more of a success. As far as comedies go, I am really missing them. Enlisted, Surviving Jack, The Crazy Ones, and Trophy Wife were all superior to any comedy that debuted this season. I miss my Hill brothers so much. As for shows that were cancelled awhile ago, there is far too many to lsit them all but I do hate that Dark Angel didn't get a proper ending.
Enlisted was one of the best shows cancelled last season and one of my favorite comedies of all. I do wish it had foudn a bigger audience because it was hilarious and still had a lot of heart.
Cold Case is still one of my very favorite police procedurals. I have never seen a show that used music better and I loved the characters. It is one of my biggest TV pet peeves that we still cannot get DVDs for this brilliant show. I do try to catch it on reruns when I can though.
Surviving jack!! That was a big family favourite last year. Also necessary roughness, the glades (to end on that cliffhanger will never be forgiven!), enlisted, witches of trophy wife and smash. There is also the old ones like firefly, Angel etc.
Surviving Jack was a definite hidden gem. There was so much to love about it and it always, always made me laugh. I can't say that about most comedies these days. Enlisted was another cancelled favorite.
I wish that TNT would bring back Leverage! I loved that show so much. It was different from all the other show's out there and they had the best team ever!!!!!!!!
wow I haven't thought about this show in a very long time thanks for that. and now that I think about it they could totally continue the show with new actors if they wanted. the hybrids have their human DNA from human "donors". they could get new ones like the shapeshifters.
I'm gonna buy at least one of the Roswell books (the one that takes place after the third season). I guess we could have new actors, but I would miss the old ones. I bought all three seasons on DVD of course.
Other: Leverage, Star-Crossed, The Tomorrow People, Almost Human, Witches of East End and I will be forever bitter about Firefly and Stargate Atlantis.
Ya she was okay but to me it just wasn't scrubs anymore. The old characters were warped and caricatured versions of themselves, and the loss of jd was too much for me. Bur that's okay, because it was supposed to be more of a spinoff anyway. They just should've dropped the original caracters to begin with and leave them with s8's great ending.
Oh yes, I miss House too. But I only joined late, and started watching the weekly show when s8 was being broadcast, so I didn't have that much time to get attached. The ending still has me confused, though...
on the list i went with Alcatraz and i could only select other once but i would have added Secret Circle(that season finale will torment me until my last day) and Unforgettable, which i felt was severely under-rated:(
Definitely Veronica Mars and off the list Almost Human and Revolution. I still can't believe no one saw the incredible potential of these shows. They just keep adding more and more procedurals, it's depressing.
And I forgot about comedies, I loved Raising Hope, I still watch it regularly. I find it even funnier than Big Bang Theory, it's just perfect. I was completely in shock when they cancelled it. And if I dig a little deeper I miss good old sci-fi like Stargate SG-1 and all its spin offs, we need more spaceships and aliens in our sci-fi.
I liked Angel but honestly season 4 was so bad, season 5 wasnt that much it wasnt the same without Charisma/Cordy. Season 5 finale was good and bad. I liked storyline but ending wasnt what i expected for the last episode. Ending with fight and without telling us what happened with each character isnt my idea of the last episode.
Despite and amazing cast, I never got into Universe - think it was because I was so bitter about the demise of Atlantis. I have all the seasons of SG-1 and Atlantis on DVD as well as both the movies so every now and then I'll watch a season or two. Maybe I'll give Universe another try now that some time as passed :-)
I miss Dracula as I never missed a show in my life. And I find it insulting that it's not on the list, being one of the best shows to hit screens in a long time. I have to log in to leave a comment, while others can just vote? Dracula's relatively weak ratings were NBC's own fault, nobody to blame but them. If they expect great live ratings in a Friday night, they don't have a clue about viewers' habits. Even then, Dracula had better live ratings than anything else they put in the same time slot. So, I have a message for NBC: just put my show back on, or GIVE UP the rights so anybody else can continue the show.
I would have been very happy if the original 3 season plan was completed As it was packing so much into Season 2 to have somewhat of a "proper" ending really lowered the quality level to me. Still a fabulous Season 1 though!
I'm not sure I miss it exactly, but even with 16 or more combined seasons of the Stargate franchise I still would watch more!
I remember when the original film came out and I thought it was something that could rival Star Wars or Star Trek as a Sci-Fi franchise even if most of my friends were not as impressed by it.. When Showtime made it a weekly series it was surprising, but so absolutely perfect for the premise!
I've never done a re-watch of the series as a whole, but I have caught random episodes or movies occasionally..... Maybe it's time for an SG marathon!
I know what you mean... SG-U had a different feel to it compared to the first two series. I appreciated it for what it was trying to do, but I don't think it was as entertaining as SG-1 or SG-A to me.
I never watched Dark Angel but i must say i'm happy it ended since Michael Weatherly got hired in NCIS and i can't imagine that show without him. He is just great there.
farscape!!! I will always miss that show. also, the gates, damn cliffhanger!!! blood ties! I just found this show and I just love it!!! scrubs stargate sg-1 private practice, was it cancelled or did it simply end?
I barely got thru the pilot episode. I wanted to like it, especially since it was the only show from the Stargate franchise airing but it felt like they were trying to be BSG and not SG - which made the cancellation of Atlantis that much more painful. Don't get me wrong, I love BSG for what it is but one of the many reasons I loved Stargate was because it WASN'T BSG...if that makes any sense?
I don't think we were alone in that view either since SG-U ratings were not up to the level of the previous series (as I recall).
I never watched any of Season 2 of SG-U... It just was not something I really enjoyed for one reason or another. Much like I did not enjoy Caprica, but I loved BSG. Maybe I will watch SG-U in its entirety one day, but it is not high on my "to watch list" right now...
Never watched Caprica...one of those shows in my Netflix queue that I never seem to be in the mood for when it comes up. Unfortunately, at last count I have approximately 75 shows on my watch list so if I skip something, it could take a year or more for it to come back up again!
yeah i guess LOL, anyway no offense to Buffy lovers but Angel should be mentioned more often because the humans were actually badasses not unlike the humans on Buffy who couldn't even take a punch
Me too, he´s amazing actor, plus really easy on eyes. Others already have new projects, he has a movie, but I would love to see him in some action/drama show which they won´t cancel right away :D
Many shows I still love have ended or were cancelled but very few I truly miss, right now only House MD and Being Erica come to mind but I'm sure there are more.
From the list: The River (I really really enjoyed that show. I think it could have had a hugely fun/scary second season), Ringer (it was just starting to figure out what it was and getting really fun), The Lying Game (it wasn't always great but I was enjoying it)
I'd also add: Firefly (I miss it the most), Dark Angel (I feel like the story didn't get finished)
Yeah, bad final seasons help take the sting out. There are several shows that would be on this list except that their final season cause me to postpone watching episodes. (i.e collect them on the DVR and sometimes never get around to watch it)
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
From the list-Kyle XY.
ReplyDeleteVeronica Mars and Angel. I can accept the end of Utopia UK much more :)
ReplyDeleteRevolution :(
ReplyDeleteKyle XY, The Finder, Eureka, Warehouse 13 and probably some others, but for know i don't remember much.

none on the list Angel and Witches of East End.
ReplyDeleteHappy Endings!
ReplyDeleteUnited States of Tara....
ReplyDeleteI miss Scrubs a lot (but not season 9). Zach's reunion selfie only fueled my need for it. Anyone else?
ReplyDeleteNone on the list, but the one show I miss the most is House MD. I just loved the characters and the acting by Hugh Laurie in particular was excellent. The majority of the cast has had lead roles on other series since which is a testament to that. It was great to see House come on Netflix earlier in the year too - I normally watch one or two episodes at random each week.
ReplyDeleteThe list truly goes on forever but i miss mostly xena x files farscape crossing jordan angel buffy la femme nikita
ReplyDeleteWell, this wasn't canceled but i have to say Fringe. I still miss this show so much and ever since it ended i haven't found another show that rocks my world...

ReplyDeletewas Fringe really cancelled though, i mean they gave us an ending, i considered cancelled shows abrupt endings like Revolution
ReplyDeleteChuck wasn't really cancelled, i mean they gave us an ending (a horrible one but still), cancelled for me means a show with no ending like Tomorrow People, Revolution, etc.
ReplyDeleteby cancelled do you mean a show with and ending like Fringe, Chuck, etc.or cut off like Kyle XY, Golden Boy
ReplyDeletePushing Daisies
ReplyDeleteIf you read my post i said it Wasn't canceled.Yes,they gave a shorten 5th season out of the 7 seasons Wyman had planned for.
ReplyDeleteOf the ones listed then Don't Trust the Bitch. Others include Enlightened, Caprica, Alphas, The Fades, Happy Endings, Ben and Kate, Trophy Wife, Enlisted and Southland.
ReplyDeleteThe Tomorrow people

ReplyDeleteTomorrow People, Almost Human, Revolution, Alcatraz, Siberia, Flashforward, The Event, and numerous others
ReplyDeletei'm still pissed Yahoo didn't pick Enlisted up for a second season or that Fox didn't give it a better time slot
ReplyDeletewhy are Angel fans a few and rare breed?
ReplyDeleteJericho
ReplyDeleteVeronica Mars and other for me. There are soooo many great cancelled shows that weren't included in this list (thankfully I have most of the ones I love on DVD). My top two "others" right now are Witches of East End and Revolution. I was devastated when both of them were cancelled this year.

ReplyDeleteLegend of The Seeker whoa what a callback awesome, i really miss that show
ReplyDeleteglad i'm not alone on this
ReplyDeletewasn't that show renewed, cancelled, renewed, cancelled and then finally renewed again?
ReplyDeletefor me it's a tie between Chuck and HIMYM and probably White Collar if i have the guts to see the finale
ReplyDeletei liked season 9 just for the girl that was on happy endigs
ReplyDeleteOdyssey 5. A promising show cut off before it can complete its story.
ReplyDeleteYeah, for me it´s Chuck first, and then HIMYM, awful too, didn´t make ANY sense, just awful.
ReplyDeleteFrom the list: 666 Park Avenue, Apartment 23 and The Lying Game
ReplyDeleteNot on the list: V, Feaks and Geeks, Undeclared, Trophy Wife
The Secret Circle of course!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteV, Undeclared, Trophy Wife , Enlisted, Go on and Revolution.
ReplyDeleteTerminator Sarah Connor Chronicles
ReplyDeletewell in V they killed basically the entire cast right?

ReplyDeleteNikita, V and HIMYM.
ReplyDeleteFirefly, and Merlin if they had changed direction and made it better than S5
ReplyDeleteI have to go with The Secret Circle that's was by far one of the most devastating cancellation for me :( but I am glad I'm not alone on this
ReplyDeleteBoth great choices. I have both on DVD.
ReplyDeleteFirefly, The Sarah Connor Chronicles, The Secret Circle, Star-Crossed, Leverage, Witches of East End, and probably a bunch of others that I can't think of

ReplyDeleteI picked Ringer. I hate how it ended. We needed at least one more season of it.
ReplyDeleteThe New Normal and forever The Secret Circle
ReplyDeleteActually non of the listed above.
ReplyDeletePushing Daisies first and foremost: there was so much more waiting for us in further seasons!
The Secret Circle and Flashforward because those two shows had great potential and I wanted to see TSC becoming truly fun and exciting while Flashfoward could hit really heavy emotional ground, but none of those two had enough time to get there

ReplyDeleteWell in case you didn't know Rocke O' Bannon is making another Farscape movie.
ReplyDeleteI would've been down with a short final season of Revolution. Hell even a movie to wrap everything up. I just hate how most cancelled shows don't know until after the season has wrapped whether or not they'll get picked up. It makes for a lot of cliffhangers and I loathe cliffhangers.

ReplyDeleteYou named some great shows I had forgotten, oh the memories:)
ReplyDeleteLOST .... i miss this show so much *cries*
ReplyDeleteBuffy , angel & Alias
Nikita. Just Nikita
ReplyDeleteI'm still fuming about Revolution. It's a real disgrace to end a show like this.
ReplyDeleteReally missing Leverage. One of the few shows that did not take itself too serious but still made you stay on your toes with all the twists and turns.
ReplyDeleteI know it ended on its own terms, but I still do miss Nikita. I am of course very happy it got a final season to wrap things up, but I wouldn't have mind having more seasons of that show. Same with LOST. And I miss The Tomorrow People. It wasn't perfect and The Flash kind of fills up the hole, but I would have loved to see a second season.

ReplyDeleteI'm binging Scrubs right now and just got to season 8 when Eliza Coupe's Denise joined the cast!
ReplyDeleteOf the ones listed, only Kyle XY and Veronica Mars, but really the drama shows I am missing the most right now are Leverage and Burn Notice. Nothing is quite filling their void. ReplyDeleteAbsolutely, but only if we could forget the disastrous third season. I do miss those characters.
ReplyDeleteEnlisted was one of the best shows cancelled last season and one of my favorite comedies of all. I do wish it had foudn a bigger audience because it was hilarious and still had a lot of heart.
ReplyDeleteGreat choice. It had so much potential.

ReplyDeleteThe first 3 were on my list too. Glad to see Enlisted and Surviving Jack get some love especially. They were brilliant.
ReplyDeleteI totally root for a Leverage movie or 20. Even if we can only get Eliot, Parker, and Hardison back, it would make my day. I miss those characters.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely! There is a Parker-shaped hole in my TV life right now.
ReplyDeleteSurviving Jack was a definite hidden gem. There was so much to love about it and it always, always made me laugh. I can't say that about most comedies these days. Enlisted was another cancelled favorite.
ReplyDeleteYou and me both. There is nothing like Leverage on now and it was always such fun.
ReplyDeletePan Am, OTH and Gilmore Girls.
ReplyDeleteLEVERAGE, miss that show so much and it was cancaled right before it won The Peoples Choice Award. The only show in tv history to have that happen.
ReplyDeleteYeah it was the combination of funny and heart which worked so well for me, going to take a while to get over losing it so soon.
ReplyDeleteCHUCK.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you about the third season!
ReplyDeleteThe Sarah Connor Chronicles, Dark Angel, Life and so on...
ReplyDeleteI wish that TNT would bring back Leverage! I loved that show so much. It was different from all the other show's out there and they had the best team ever!!!!!!!!

Oh, wow when Lilly would solve a case and the person she redeemed would stand off in the background, just thinking of those scenes give me chills!!!
ReplyDeleteThe New Normal and The Secret Circle.
ReplyDeleteUgly Betty: I still write fanfiction for the show.
ReplyDeleteFrom the list, only Veronica Mars.
ReplyDeleteOther: Leverage, Star-Crossed, The Tomorrow People, Almost Human, Witches of East End and I will be forever bitter about Firefly and Stargate Atlantis.
Firefly
ReplyDeleteYa she was okay but to me it just wasn't scrubs anymore. The old characters were warped and caricatured versions of themselves, and the loss of jd was too much for me. ReplyDeleteWarehouse 13. T_T
ReplyDeleteOh yes, I miss House too. But I only joined late, and started watching the weekly show when s8 was being broadcast, so I didn't have that much time to get attached. The ending still has me confused, though...
ReplyDeletethose 2 thank god for fans or closure never would have happened but those 2 deserved to run longer
ReplyDeleteon the list i went with Alcatraz and i could only select other once but i would have added Secret Circle(that season finale will torment me until my last day) and Unforgettable, which i felt was severely under-rated:(
ReplyDeleteCan't believe Firefly isn't on the list.
ReplyDeleteFringe, The Tomorrow People, My Name is Earl.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely Veronica Mars and off the list Almost Human and Revolution. I still can't believe no one saw the incredible potential of these shows. They just keep adding more and more procedurals, it's depressing.
ReplyDeleteI miss Revolution like crazy, I hope David Lyons finds a good part on another series, I miss him the most.
ReplyDeleteI've been looking everywhere for fanfiction that would give me an ending, but I haven't found anything. Still, the story continues in my head. lol
ReplyDeleteThe end of Southland is so incredibly depressing, I cannot believe they chose to end it like that.
ReplyDeleteMe too still hoping
ReplyDeleteI cheered so much for Southland when it was picked up by TNT and I cried so hard when it ended.
ReplyDeleteThat's a pretty good summary
ReplyDeleteDallas ended on such a huge cliffhanger, I can't believe they cancelled it.
ReplyDeleteOoh, I loved the River too!! It was so scarily awesome.
ReplyDeleteThe last season of Merlin broke my heart, so much wasted potential.
ReplyDeleteStarCrossed was a lot more than a teenagers-in-love show, it's a shame they couldn't develop it more.
ReplyDeleteAgreed, with the ending they wrote they could have completely redistributed the cards and started anew. It's a real shame.
ReplyDeleteAnd I forgot about comedies, I loved Raising Hope, I still watch it regularly. I find it even funnier than Big Bang Theory, it's just perfect. I was completely in shock when they cancelled it.
ReplyDeleteAnd if I dig a little deeper I miss good old sci-fi like Stargate SG-1 and all its spin offs, we need more spaceships and aliens in our sci-fi.
I'd forgotten about Rome, it was quite spectacular. It's a shame it was so expensive, it was one of a kind.
ReplyDeleteI miss all shapes of Stargate. I'm reading all the books I can find.
ReplyDeleteI liked Angel but honestly season 4 was so bad, season 5 wasnt that much it wasnt the same without Charisma/Cordy. Season 5 finale was good and bad. I liked storyline but ending wasnt what i expected for the last episode. Ending with fight and without telling us what happened with each character isnt my idea of the last episode.
ReplyDeleteShow wasnt the same without Charisma
ReplyDeleteIt wasn't that bad but yeah I agree you could see by episodes that would be last season of show. Still good ending, right?
ReplyDeleteno i mean that never mention Angel in pop culture it's always Buffy never Angel
ReplyDeleteGod they never should've killed her off
ReplyDeletetrue that
ReplyDeleteDespite and amazing cast, I never got into Universe - think it was because I was so bitter about the demise of Atlantis. I have all the seasons of SG-1 and Atlantis on DVD as well as both the movies so every now and then I'll watch a season or two. Maybe I'll give Universe another try now that some time as passed :-)
ReplyDeleteDracula :(
ReplyDeletehouse m.d of course. Everybody lies
ReplyDeleteI miss Dracula as I never missed a show in my life. And I find it insulting that it's not on the list, being one of the best shows to hit screens in a long time. I have to log in to leave a comment, while others can just vote?
ReplyDeleteDracula's relatively weak ratings were NBC's own fault, nobody to blame but them. If they expect great live ratings in a Friday night, they don't have a clue about viewers' habits. Even then, Dracula had better live ratings than anything else they put in the same time slot.
So, I have a message for NBC: just put my show back on, or GIVE UP the rights so anybody else can continue the show.
All the way!
ReplyDeleteKyle XY (though Season 3 was a reck imo) and Terra Nova from the list.
ReplyDeleteNot on the list: Almost Human and Moonlight!
Other: The Tomorrow People, Jericho, and Dark Angel
Any other shows I watched that were cancelled I got over.
Or they wrapped up fine despite not having much time to end the series (Fringe, Being Human US, and Nikita for examples).
I would have been very happy if the original 3 season plan was completed As it was packing so much into Season 2 to have somewhat of a "proper" ending really lowered the quality level to me. Still a fabulous Season 1 though!
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure I miss it exactly, but even with 16 or more combined seasons of the Stargate franchise I still would watch more!
ReplyDeleteI remember when the original film came out and I thought it was something that could rival Star Wars or Star Trek as a Sci-Fi franchise even if most of my friends were not as impressed by it.. When Showtime made it a weekly series it was surprising, but so absolutely perfect for the premise!
I've never done a re-watch of the series as a whole, but I have caught random episodes or movies occasionally..... Maybe it's time for an SG marathon!
I know what you mean...
ReplyDeleteSG-U had a different feel to it compared to the first two series. I appreciated it for what it was trying to do, but I don't think it was as entertaining as SG-1 or SG-A to me.
I never watched Dark Angel but i must say i'm happy it ended since Michael Weatherly got hired in NCIS and i can't imagine that show without him. He is just great there.
ReplyDeletefarscape!!! I will always miss that show.
ReplyDeletealso, the gates, damn cliffhanger!!!
blood ties! I just found this show and I just love it!!!
scrubs
stargate sg-1
private practice, was it cancelled or did it simply end?
what????? really???? you're not joking about this? cause it would be the best news ever!!!
ReplyDeleteI barely got thru the pilot episode.
ReplyDeleteI know exactly what you mean.
ReplyDeleteI don't think we were alone in that view either since SG-U ratings were not up to the level of the previous series (as I recall).
I never watched any of Season 2 of SG-U... It just was not something I really enjoyed for one reason or another. Much like I did not enjoy Caprica, but I loved BSG. Maybe I will watch SG-U in its entirety one day, but it is not high on my "to watch list" right now...
I miss that show so much!
ReplyDeleteI really miss Eastwick!!!!
ReplyDeleteNever watched Caprica...one of those shows in my Netflix queue that I never seem to be in the mood for when it comes up. Unfortunately, at last count I have approximately 75 shows on my watch list so if I skip something, it could take a year or more for it to come back up again!
ReplyDeleteBuffy, Angel, Charmed, Leverage, Reaper, Dark Angel, Tribe, ...
ReplyDeleteI never was a fan of Cordy. But I do hate that they killed Fred. I liked her.
ReplyDeleteBeing Human, Smallville, The tomorrow people...
ReplyDeleteFrom the list: don't trust the bitch in apt 23 and ringer.
ReplyDeleteI also voted for "other" but my that will be waaaaaay too long a list if I start writing all of them down...
but you DO agree that the whole Oedipus thing with Connor was disgusting right?
ReplyDeleteyeah i guess LOL, anyway no offense to Buffy lovers but Angel should be mentioned more often because the humans were actually badasses not unlike the humans on Buffy who couldn't even take a punch
ReplyDeleteStargate Universe, 666 Park Avenue and Almost Human
ReplyDeleteMe too, he´s amazing actor, plus really easy on eyes. Others already have new projects, he has a movie, but I would love to see him in some action/drama show which they won´t cancel right away :D
ReplyDeleteMany shows I still love have ended or were cancelled but very few I truly miss, right now only House MD and Being Erica come to mind but I'm sure there are more.
ReplyDeleteFrom the list: The River (I really really enjoyed that show. I think it could have had a hugely fun/scary second season), Ringer (it was just starting to figure out what it was and getting really fun), The Lying Game (it wasn't always great but I was enjoying it)
ReplyDeleteI'd also add: Firefly (I miss it the most), Dark Angel (I feel like the story didn't get finished)
Oh, That to great shows to add to my list.... The Finder and Eureka
ReplyDeleteYeah, bad final seasons help take the sting out. There are several shows that would be on this list except that their final season cause me to postpone watching episodes. (i.e collect them on the DVR and sometimes never get around to watch it)
ReplyDeletethey did that character wrong with more than just the Oedipal thing. grrrr.
ReplyDeleteI was bummed that they killed off Fred but I did really enjoy the work that the actress did as the new character.
