Rules
- Polls need to be TV/Movie related.
- You must supply a Poll Question, and the possible choices. Please try to keep the number of options to a reasonable amount (Max of 20 Items)

This is beyond ridiculous. I get that this poll must have been submitted some time ago, so I don't blame whoever submitted it, but for it to actually come out now is stupid.
The "random" system hardly seems fair anyway, so if a person submits a poll before another person, the second person's poll might still come out first? Doing it by order is better.
So apparently there's thousands of polls like this one submitted. I don't know if they mean for the whole community (all TV shows) or just OUaT. Still, I'd like to address the fandom here and ask what is so appealing about these polls. Why submit them, and if you want to, how do you go about choosing the topic? Do you look at the results? Do you look forward to there always being new polls? Don't you forget about them instantly when other articles get posted on this show's news feed here?
I personally don't get the interest in these polls, I come to this site (as I have since 2006) merely for the spoilery articles and am not a fan of how it's become more of a fan forum. But I'm not hating for the sake of hating, so please don't give me generic elementary-school replies such as "If you don't like it then don't read/comment/come here." Please, I really would like to know where others stand on this. Would you rather STV stick to spoilers and news because you're fed up with fluff posts on the feed like I am, or do you like said fan-based and fan-oriented pieces?
I've never submitted a poll,so I can't answer your question about choosing a topic,but as to what is so appealing I think the answer is fairly simple.It's just fun.I don't comment or vote in every poll,but when there's a topic I find interesting I take part.And no,I don't sit around thinking about them or looking forward to them,but if I see something I like,I'll spend a couple of minutes with it.It's just a way to have fun for a while and it'a also interesting to see what other people think about a certain topic.
So,the fans being a little more involved with this site(or any site like this one) doesn't bother me at all.Most of the things that get posted are still spoilers or news,so I don't think things are that different.Also,there are some periods during the year,when shows are off the air or when they're taking a break from shooting,when there aren't that many spoilers or news.Fan-based pieces are a nice way to spent that time.
That's exactly how I see them as well @Katerina22 . I love reading other peoples opinions and thoughts on shows I love and it's a great way to spend a few minutes thinking about them. There have been some fantastic polls created and most people create very good, thought provoking ones, as well as some of the more fluffy ones eg "Who's the best looking...." etc but mostly they are really good.
They provide a nice way to meet fellow fans of the shows you enjoy.
The curse wasn't as good as I'd hoped since about half the population was immune, but whatever, I still completely adored the episode on all fronts, and seeing the Evil Queen and Dark Snow was a delight.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Isn't this a little late? The curse was here and was already lifted.

I don't think that. Because a while ago i submitted a poll (and a while ago consider January, February) and it hasn't been posted yet.
