I'm really excited about the spin-off. I can't really get into the original one because I don't like many of the characters... I'm interested in this one though.
I was hoping for a rougher location the original is in Atlanta so I wonder how the hell will we get cross overs. Above all im excited even though I thought it would be in Miami of New York
damn, and there I was hoping for different climatic conditions. Like Alaska, a snow-y cold and dark place.
Come on, snow zombies would've been awesome. And let's not forget that nature would pose as a giant enemy as well! Wolves, cold
or the mojave! We have so much to offer and yet we get the cheapest of all cheap US locations over and over again. Nothing against Los Angeles, it's a beautiful town that has more character than most actors that inhabit it. However it's not fit for ANOTHER zombie series.
btw. at the same time there's a new Dead Island game set in LA...coincidence?
Or f**k it...how about a zombie series set on an island, like LOST?! How awesome would that be? Damn you AMC....let me write for you :(
Preview episode (the pilot) airs after the mid-season finale of TWD S6, and then airs in January-February (7 episodes including the pilot), and returns after the season finale of TWD from March-May (6 episodes). That is if it gets 13 eps.
If it is based in LA then where exactly will the show be filmed? If its the same producers as TWD i can't imagine them traveling back and forth between Atlanta and Los Angeles.
The source material made great use of snow, and what happens to frozen walkers. I hoped they'd incorporate that, but they haven't. So, yeah, I'm with you. Besides, "Nobody walks in LA" so wouldn't all the walkers have just been corpses stuck in their cars on the 101? ;)
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteI like the location.
ReplyDeleteI love The Walking Dead, but I don't want a companion/spinoff series.
ReplyDeleteThey can do that when the show with its current cast comes to an end.

Beth, was major.
ReplyDeleteMy body is ready.
ReplyDeleteI would have loved it if it was in an other place like mountain, desert etc.. but i'm still excited! :D
ReplyDeletei was thinking another country or a diferent condition like snow or smething like that
ReplyDeleteWhen do you think this series will air? Fall 2015?
ReplyDeleteNo, The Walking Dead airs then. They want a different time of year. So my guess, is that they will air it, summer 2015 or spring/ summer 2016.
ReplyDeleteI'm a little disappointed with the location. I was really hoping for Europe. So it could tie into what we learned, from the CDC in season 1.
ReplyDeleteI don't watch the show but my husband and daughter does and they said the same thing.. your thinking about the location....
