    I think that he has been killing people all long but he numbs himself and hides it because his mom spelled him to do it. I don't think he is like Stefan..Elijah killed to protect and eat....these are the first vampires to have existed....and when Elijah killed he mother assisted his guilt by helping him hide and telling him to look clean and dress nicely.....she has removed the spell and he is not so clean about hiding it anymore and careful about it....it will take time for him to come to terms with what he has been doing........

    I agree I want my old Elijah back. Elijah does not remember killing those people its like he is blacking out what is happening to him. He looks surprised that this even happened, what did Esther do to him. And Elijah will do anything to protect his family and Haley. Elijah has always protected his family and that includes protecting Hope and Haley. The baby is so cute the way she looks at Elijah I wonder how Elijah is going to react when he finds out Haley is going to marry that Jackson. I don't like it but Id rather have that than another brother triangle. I don't know why people have to bash Phoebe I think that she is amazing character anyways killing Haley is not going to happen. I think Elijah would kill Esther for what she did to him and I would not blame him for that.
