Thanks to Jess for the heads up.
IGN: When I talked to [The 100 showrunner] Jason Rothenberg recently, he was mentioning how, because this episode would be going into a break, you knew you had to end on a big note. What can you say teasing how you leave off?
Taylor: I would just say that this episode is not going to disappoint and there’s going to be not one but two or three big twists that people really won’t be expecting
IGN: What do you think she makes of what Finn’s done at this point?
Taylor: I think, at this point, obviously she was extremely shocked by his behavior and what he did to the Grounders, but she has come to a peace with it - especially given what she’s seen in him and how much pain he’s in. So I think she’s just trying to convince him now that he’s saveable and that he’s not a monster.

FINN CAN'T DIE HE JUST CAN'T OKAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteReally hoping that Finn dies in this episode instead of Raven as some people might've speculated. Other than that, I'm dreading having to wait weeks after this episode for the next one. The 100 has recently been must-watch TV for me.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure Finn's dying. They're giving him his own centric and a backstory for his send off.
ReplyDeleteOh I hate the month long break, but I think we're kinda lucky because most of my other shows don't come back until March.
I agree. I've only just started liking him and it would be a major disapointment for all that character development to have only led to his death. So anticlimactic.
ReplyDeleteYour confidence is reassuring. :)
ReplyDeleteI am counting on those major twists they are teasing, I want neither Finn nor Raven to die... But if I had to choose I would close Finn over Raven. I have been enjoying her interacting with Wick, but to me she is more expandable, which I hate to say because I like all of the core characters. But as I said - counting on the major twists - non of them die. But they could blow up Mount Weather instead? ...if they need lives to take...
ReplyDeleteim pretty sure that wont happen because all i read is expect a plot twist. Since most of us expected he would die, its probably gonna be a reversal. Buuut, hes really becoming one of the hated character in this season along with jaha. Funny how both of them were kinda awesome on season 1, such a reversal.
ReplyDeleteIm veery curious whos gonna die in this episode? according to imdb on episode 9, 'after a death of a friend, clark and raven go saves their friends at mount weather' or something along that line.
ReplyDeleteFinally someone said it! Finn waisted 3 months of oxygen and he should have been floated for it. Love you random guy for speaking our minds!
ReplyDeleteWHHHAATT??? Where did you see THAT??? I've been looking for the press release of episode 9 for the last two week!
ReplyDeleteBut that is just what everybody thinks, Finn did ... What if it was Raven? Otherwise it makes no sense that Raven is over 18 and Finn is not when it happened on the Arc.
ReplyDeleteBased on the sneak peek, Im guessing Raven failed her test and Finn wants to give her a birthday gift of having her do the spacewalk and he gets the blame for it.
ReplyDeleteWhen Raven was shot in the finale of Season 1 she said to Clarke that she never failed anything, she was always first... Of course is losing oxygen a big deal, but still my bet is they are still blaming the wrong person. But so was killing the 300 on the Arc just because they could not wait.
ReplyDeleteI kind of hope that thay won't just kill Finn, which would be rather obvious. Maybe he would make the sacriface/be sacrifaced for the greater good and be taken by Grounders to his death but wouldn't actually be killed by them ( maybe made into slave, prisoner or whatever). That could make an interesting twist if his people from the Ark would all think he died, mourned him and forged new dynamics and then, after significant amount of time has passed (maybe even not this season) meet him again, very changed man (both from someone he used to be at the beginning of the show an from who he is now)
ReplyDeleteGood point. I guess she wont get to go out to space right away and Finn will give her that chance as her bday gift.
ReplyDeleteThere were a lot suffering from oxygen deprivation and thought the 100 were dead, so they had to act and got 300 volunteers.
There's actually more truth to that. And you shouldn't be saying stuff like that when that story wasn't full explained.

I can say whatever i want. Its my opinion based on what I have seen so far, which felt like giving Finn a pass by the characters on the show for wasting oxygen when oxygen was vital for the Ark storyline.
ReplyDeleteI am glad they are finally addressing it (after 1.5 seasons later). Maybe the 'rest of the story' will change my mind about Finn's character... we will have to wait and see.
I'm happy that Raven lives.
ReplyDeleteFinn is a lot better this season but I will always choose Raven. I really hope they don't kill her off.
ReplyDeleteI so do not care if he dies or not as long as Bellamy is safe!!!
ReplyDeleteI really don't see a point in killing Raven after just upping her to being a regular on the show.
ReplyDeleteInteresting article, it teases that he actually did something good as spacewalker just nobody knows about it. I cannot wait for tonight, hope Finn lives.
ReplyDeleteIf one of the big twists is Bellamy dies, I will be so mad!!!
ReplyDeleteYeah like Gotham! And for people like me in the UK we've gone without the 100 for months and have about another month to go!Trust me, you're lucky.....
ReplyDeleteI have to say I don't care about Bellamy, but J.R. said even tough Bellamy's role has been so small in season's 2 plot line, he will have a bigger part in the second half of the season, so he won't die.
ReplyDeleteHE WON'T!!, I'm a nobody who holds no information about anything, but my common sense tells me that they can't kill a nice character this way, and I'm talking about the cruelty and the reason why.
ReplyDeleteThat makes sense and would be even sweeter.
ReplyDeleteimdb isn't exactly known for accuracy.
ReplyDeleteThe press release is not out yet, because the episode will be airing in four weeks. And don't worry, imdb isn't exactly the most reliable source.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if Clarke is at all worried that everyone is willing to sacrifice Finn for crimes he's been pardoned of. Does she have a plan for after they free everyone from Mount Weather? Because how long will it be before they become "expendable" again? She needs a plan.
ReplyDeletei just read from around tumblr,
ReplyDeleteI checked and it says "Clarke and Octavia" not "Clarke and Raven"
