I mean what were they expecting? The will just look the other way when he slaughtered innocent people? They already looked pass the ones Clarke burned, it was during a fight, but what Finn has done is totally different thing.
But he has the marks on his neck that LIncoln has too, so he was also infected, I don't know when or by who, but he was, so he was not actually responsible of his actions, and killing him would be a HUGE cruelty from the writers, so I don't think so.
Does anyone think that during the Raven/Wick flashbacks next episode, they'll show that Raven was the actually the one to waste a month of oxygen on an illegal space walk and Finn took the fall? Maybe Raven was already 18? It seems like something the writers would use to help redeem him.
Yes good theory, Bellarke fans wouldn't like that coz clarke would want Finn, she kinda does already in this, but overall Rather Finn then Bellamy, brilliant could like take the stab or something for Finn but yeah good theory seems like something the writers would do.
Sorry, fans of Finn, but I'm so okay with this. I don't absolutely hate the character, but he is the least interesting and often most annoying character to me; so if someone's going to die, he's my number one draft pick. I get that morally it's squicky, but I assume other characters I like will die otherwise, so I'm going to have to vote for handing Finn over so fast you leave Flash-style lightening behind you as you go. I want Road Runner dust clouds behind you; I want people to be cursing their lack of paperweights as papers go flying in the wake of your Superman super speed; if it saves the other characters that I love, I want Finn gone yesterday. And if that's not how the writers wanted us to react, well, they really should have picked another character, because while I know there are people who like Finn, I don't think I'm alone in this reaction at all. I can live with Finn generally, but if it's him or other people that die, I choose him easily.
Er ... again, sorry Finn fans. I can't help it, he's not my thing; dude's not quite, but starting to come awfully close, to being the opposite of Batman, just saying.
I have a major issue with the Finn hate -- Grounders weren't innocents. They had attacked and murdered the 100, and Finn had been dragged off to be killed with another 100 kid and the grounder had ruthlessly murdered that kid when he couldn't keep up. Right. In. Front. Of. Finn. Grounders are not innocents that play nice. What Finn did does go against the 100's society morals and obviously most of the viewing audience, but grounders were going to kill him more than a few times and did kill quite a few of the 100.
That was an interesting twist. I thought it was from nearly getting choked, but it wasn't, right? Something happened to Finn. I hope it all gets explained.
That is what I thought, too. But I think Ravens character is still needed if not only for her technical skills... so it has to be somebody else. Finn is too predictable .... he might die later on in the show but not in the next episode imo.
This Finn hate is getting ridiculous, it would be fun to see Bellamy die - just to spite the haters. This Season Bellamy's character has been marginalized (Producers words -not mine), which worked fine with me, but I don't want him to die just because I don't get anything out of his character. The second part of the season is supposed to be better for Bellamy, so he is safe not that there was any doubt. Same as Murphy who is still filming. There are so many leading women in the show, that they have to keep some of the man alive as well, otherwise it is getting weird. Anya was a big loss though. My bet is that Jaha dies, that would be big.
Last season Finn couldn't do anything right, and this season it seems to be the same. It is just such a waste of time this hate, the 100 is about all the characters and the plot, which I find far more interesting. But I actually don't want anybody to die from the 100 or the Arc. I am curious where the story leads us, I could live with less human experiments - that is just gross.
Finn is the representation of normalcy among the main characters, his super power is being a human GPS and I guess that's what people don't like, that he's not a warrior and neither a funny nerd, he's just the cute guy who sees his own limitations and wanted because of them not to play a role that he and his peers wouldn't be able to win, and that's what 90% of real people would do in such situation.
I keep picturing Finn going off to die and Lexa being like "aren't you going to fight to survive" and then Finn saying, total coincidence, "my fight is over" and then they spare his life :)
I didn´t noticed any marks, I saw just bruises after Nyko strangled him so I don´t think it´s the case at all. Plus he seemed completely normal whole time and then he just snapped so.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I'm not so sure Finn makes it out of this.
ReplyDeleteR.I.P. Finn. I don't see a way out of this.
ReplyDeletePlease, please, please! Don't kill Finn! PLEASE!!!
ReplyDeleteWow!! Everything points towards Finn's death. I am already steeling myself for it to happen. :(
ReplyDeleteWill the unexpected happen and the show surprise us by not killing him? I sincerely hope so.
Finn just might deserve it. No other way out #teamgrounders
ReplyDeleteI hope they kill Finn off. This character has been terribly unbearable to watch this season.
ReplyDeleteIf I can see a way out, the writers can too. I shall have hope!
ReplyDeleteI mean what were they expecting? The will just look the other way when he slaughtered innocent people? They already looked pass the ones Clarke burned, it was during a fight, but what Finn has done is totally different thing.
ReplyDeleteThe SOB they call Finn lost his cool and killed a bunch of innocent or mostly innocent people, so I think it's a fair tradeoff his life for peace.
ReplyDeleteBut he has the marks on his neck that LIncoln has too, so he was also infected, I don't know when or by who, but he was, so he was not actually responsible of his actions, and killing him would be a HUGE cruelty from the writers, so I don't think so.

ReplyDeleteJR revealed in an tweet the age of some of the characters, Raven 19, Finn 17 and Bellamy 23 ... so I think your theory is right on spot.

No character has been hated as much as Finn on this show, I think that makes him safe...
