Wednesday, Dec. 17 – 10 p.m. – SAVING HOPE – “Days of Heaven” – NEW EPISODE
In a must-watch cliff-hanger of SAVING HOPE, Dr. Alex Reid (Erica Durance), Dr. Maggie Lin (Julia Taylor Ross), and Dr. Dana Kinney (Wendy Crewson) spend the morning hearing celebrated surgeon Thor MacLeod (Currie Graham, DALLAS) talk about his near-death experience. When a fellow fan loses control and nearly dies, Alex finds herself in the hospital alongside Thor in an effort to save the man’s life. But when Thor’s connection to the patient is revealed, Alex can’t help but wonder if the doctor is truly who he appears to be. Meanwhile, Dr. Charlie Harris (Michael Shanks) avoids Thor’s “insights” and tries to bounce an idea off Dr. Shahir Hamza (Huse Madhavji) that could help solve the medical mystery of the patient’s spirit. Feeling less like himself than ever, Dr. Joel Goran (Daniel Gillies) escapes Hope Zion Hospital by immersing himself at the street clinic – only to face a day of bad news and heavy consequences. Plus, Maggie must find the courage to confront Dana on an issue involving her daughter, Molly Kinney (Eliana Jones, HEMLOCK GROVE).

My favourite show atm
ReplyDeleteGreat, now they are breaking Alex and Joel up again :-( ... what a new storyline!
ReplyDeleteit's Charlie and Alex, always will be
ReplyDeleteWhat was the deal with Alex's shaky hand again? Has that been resolved now?
ReplyDeleteLast time that issue was addressed she was given a cortisone shot, which is just a temporary fix. I'd imagine the issue will come up again but Saving Hope can be a little wonky with their subplots.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the info Bruce...much appreciated.
ReplyDelete- The Maggie/Dana subplot seems interesting.
ReplyDelete- I like the clinic and I like Selena but I don't need a Joel meltdown along with it.
- I hope the show continues the Maggie/Sydney stuff. That's been entertaining so far.
I'm getting a little impatient with Charlie's scattershot attitude toward his condition. First it freaks him out, then he treats it like an inconvenience, then later on he can't help but get involved with a spirit even when he tries to ignore them. He desperately wants to get rid of his condition then he misses it (and even gets a little depressed about it) and gets it back. He continues to cling to the idea that he's having hallucinations when there's too much evidence to the contrary. He's all over the place. The way he feels about his condition and his theories about its nature still change all the time. The show would be better if Saving Hope would finally let Charlie define both.
Boring imo - I like Charlie better independent not a s love sick puppy. But Joel's infidelity is also boring, and I actually really like the show. I don't mind breaking them up again but not that way ... the writers could have thought about something else..
ReplyDeleteUpdate on Saving Hope, 2 episodes airing Jan 7 on CTV! Excited to see where Joel's story goes.
