  1. okay for an episode but not fit for a mid-season finale.
they keep dangeling the mark plot in front of our noses as cliffhangers but never get into it.

What's Cas going to do now with Claire? Raise her?

  2. Yep like I said the last 10 min. lol In This Jimmy Novak, Clare thing would of been better if it was episode 6. Not the mid break. Got to do better second half.

OMG AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWW!!! :O SUPERNATURAL MID SEASON FINALE IS AMAZING!! I'm crying, my poor Dean, my fallen hero :`( And my poor Sammy worried about Dean :( With this end, I can´t wait! SERIOUSLY THIS IS THE BEST SHOW EVER!! MY WINCHESTER BROTHERS FOREVER!! ♥

  4. yeah, it would've been better as a regular episode, but for some reason they're really taking it slow on the Mark of Cain plot.
IMO they should've kept demon Dean as a half season antagonist, he drives through the US and does bad stuff -> Sam chases him down and fixes the mess (or other shennanigans) until the midseason finale in wich the demon would be cast out

  5. The crazy thing is the next episode preview I saw would of been better for today. As much as I dont want Dean being that way. I have to agree with you taking him mid way. They dropped it like they had better plans to replace it. Now I wonder will they take it more in the second half.

  6. So jimmy has moved on to heaven. It's too bad Cas doesn't have a way to get to him there to return his body. Like through a secret passageway through a playground sandbox, or something like that.

  7. Pretty good episode. Really loved the scenes with Crowley and his mom. Claire, tbh I really didn't care for her, she was underwhelming. Which is a shame since I was looking forward to seeing her again. I enjoyed the scene with Cas and the boys, and them telling Cas about John and Dean's night in NYC. Wish they would've showed Dean going ape shit on those guys, that would've made it better, but Castiel's face of disappointment when he saw the blood and bodies and looked at Dean sseriously broke my Destiel heart. Looks like the second half will be muchhhh better. Good.

  8. LOL at that ending. Something is not right in that house, knowing Dean - he probably butchered them all, so let's bring the daughter in there and traumatise her even more

  9. I really respect other opinions, but seriously how can this episode be amazing? It was boring for a regular episode, even worse it was a mid-season finale.

    1- The pacing was atrocious.

2 - Why in the hell did Dabb think making Sam leave Dean alone, when Cas was already with Claire. I mean, please come up with better excuses to take Sam out of a scene. Buying hotdogs is a better way to go seriously.

3 - It'd not kill the guys to show some sympathy for what Clair went through. It was Castiel's fault after all.

4 - That was the cliffhanger? Really? REALLY? And of course, let's soft the blow on Dean , making the guys really bad, even rapists. Do you remember what they did to Sam with the nurse? That was not having fear to take a character to really dark paths.

5 - And now the MoC is activated, back to season 9. They need to up the stakes for Dean, otherwise this storyline will fail. Killing really bad humans, angels or demons just don't cut it. It is more of the same.

So much fail. Dabb screwed up badly.

  10. Muito Muito melhor que a encomenda!

  11. Whoa at the end with Dean. Didn't see that coming but I'm here for the brother touching. That was nice.

    ReplyDelete
  12. I do believe that Supernatural is now the worst soap opera on TV.

    ReplyDelete
  13. You must be fortunate enough to have never watched any of the daytime soaps in the last 15 years.

    ReplyDelete
  14. I actually thought the pacing was decent, up to the end, which felt rushed. The only parts that I thought dragged it down were Rowena and Crowley (good scenes but out of place).

Sam killing the nurse did heavy damage to his character. The show never properly addressed it, assuming we only cared about brother war and brother angst, and who was or wasn't a bad brother. It has just laid there ever since, ignored and used as fodder against the character. Dean killing innocent people would just be done as more angst that is about everyone but the victims themselves.

Sam and Dean just don't have the ability to empathize all that much at this point. Cas did what he did. They wouldn't have done it, but they know him and trust him. They don't know her, other than knowing she was locked up and then almost robbed a place.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Having him as a demon for 9 episodes would have meant having him go so far that they couldn't pull the character back.

I wish it had been a few more episodes (4-5 maybe), not 9 though.

    ReplyDelete
  16. It was an alright episode. Except all the hype from the trailer made me expect Demon Dean to come back. It was cool how he killed all those loan sharks. But guess you can't have everything right? :/

    ReplyDelete
  17. The Demon Blood Sam plot line went on for far longer than 2 episodes though. The Demon Dean didnt even last what 3 episodes? Thats a HUGE wasted plotline right there. Huge. THe only thing that would make it better is if the whole deal to get rid of the Demon part didnt in fact work, Demon Dean lost a part of himself to fake being exorcised, but has secretly been regaining his strength. That would make it interesting again.

Ive come to the conclusion that while Supernatural looks like an ensemble cast show to be honest Dean is the main protagonist of the show, Sam Winchester whilst Almost a main character, I dont think quite is.

    ReplyDelete
  18. The demon blood Sam had a lot of lengthy pauses, as Sam was still human, and it ended with wholesale destruction of Sam's character that he's never fully recovered from (in my opinion only).

I do think it could have lasted a little longer.

    ReplyDelete
  19. For all the hype that the trailer made it out to be, this episode really wasn't that good! To me, it felt less like an episode of Supernatural and more like an episode of 7th Heaven. The scenes with Crowley and his mother were great. She is definitely plotting something and I cannot wait to see what. The pacing was slow, most of the time it was just the characters talking about family *sigh*

    ReplyDelete
  20. This mid season was just bad not much action felt rushed and nothing other than Dean killing people really happened.

    ReplyDelete
  21. have you seen The Vampire Diaries?

    ReplyDelete
  22. I agree that the show dragged when it flipped to Crowley/Rowena. Those scenes were the boring ones for me.

    ReplyDelete
  23. I wanted to love this episode so much but I just didn't. Dean should have been given the main plot for this mid-season finale, instead it went to some girl who has no significant ties to the Winchesters. I'm disappointed and wanted more, that may be selfish but after remaining loyal after a decade we should at least be given decent mid-season finals. If any kind of finale left the fans of the show dissatisfied, which, from this comment board they are, then the writers messed up.

    ReplyDelete
  24. An odd choice for the mid-season finale, but I found myself liking it ... a lot ... which surprised me. Claire's scenes just clicked for me, and unlike the multitudinous plotlines of 10x07, the ones in this episode seemed better intertwined (#parentissues). Again, I might have wished for a different, more Winchester-focused season finale, but I can't complain too much about an episode that really hooked me. Seems to be the theme of this season for me.

    Good things:
    - Claire & Castiel. Great casting, good chemistry. The Rapture is one of my favorite older episodes, and I was thrilled to revisit it.
    - Dean eating. And eating. And eating.
    - Cas and Dean's conversation. Dabb is good at those.
    - Finally dealing with the Mark of Cain, however briefly.
    - "And not the fun kind." So much classic Crowley.

    Bleh things:
    - The John Winchester story. At a recent convention, Jensen and Jared hinted that they fiddled with the lines in this scene because they felt it was out-of-character. While the dialogue was OK (helped along by Ackles' great story-telling delivery), the actors still seemed a little uncomfortable.
    - The last scene. Why was Sam in the car, and not behind Dean? Why did Cas bring a traumatized Claire back inside after hearing violent screams and stabbing noises? Why did they not show us Dean's killing spree to drive home the impact? Why wasn't this scene just a little bit longer? Why has slow motion become such a thing with this show? Why hasn't Jared Padalecki done a hair commercial?

    ReplyDelete
  25. they could have had him feeding the mark taking out monsters. Bad vs Bad.

    ReplyDelete
  26. I like the "family angle" this season, like Sam and Dean's relationship is super tight this year and I hope it stays that way, tired of their family drama! Cas and Clair becoming a thing. And Crowley and his witch of a mother are probably going to be a super fierce team! They are totally pushing the "family-orientedness" of the show this year.

    ReplyDelete
  27. I absolutely hated that revelation. It makes no sense whatsoever.

    ReplyDelete
  28. I wouldn't necessarily say that Sam and Dean's relationship is super tight. I mean, Dean ran away from Sam and he is still lying about the Mark affecting him. Sure, Sam figured Dean was probably lying to him, but still.

    ReplyDelete
  29. it was a great episode but didn't feel very mid-season finale like, i also didn't expect Castiel's body to be his own and that Jimmy is now in Heaven, and Dean killing all those people was horrifying and the way Sam talked to him, Dean's going down a dark path damn it

    ReplyDelete
  30. You dont think he as recovered from that? Im not sure the show even REMEMBERS that far back in it's history anymore. Sometimes we do get references to past seasons, generally in quip format but sometimes it is as if past things never happened or happened differently.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Quick Version: True, but this is the closest they've been in a long time.

    Extensive Version:
True, but after the constant fighting like at the beginning of Season 8 and the second half of Season 9, this is the closest they've been in a long time. Yes, Dean ran away, but "he was a demon" and Sam was so dedicated in finding him, we haven't really seen that Sam in a while and don't get me wrong I love Sam. He's probably my favorite character this season cuz he's the stable one for once.
And Dean lying to Sam about the Mark, I think Dean's lying to himself. He's trying to ignore it, except for the obvious dreams and when he told Cas to "take him out" just in case he would go dark again (precautionary stuff). Dean's always been that kind of character who keeps things bottled in and ignores the obvious. For example, Season 3 when he was freaked out about soon going to Hell, he was acting for Sam and himself like he wasn't freaked. I think the same applies here, he's not really lying to Sam.
And like you said, Sam figured Dean was lying. I think he just wanted to believe the lie as well. Hence in the last episode where Dean said he "felt good" and Sam said "we'll go with that"; hinting at he knew Dean was hiding stuff from him but they were just going to pretend that the Mark wasn't effecting him.

Sorry if that seems really long. I love the dynamic of these two characters. I think this show in general is the best on television and these characters are so dynamic. I'm studying film right now and the dynamics and dimensions of these characters are helping me write my final draft for my screenwriting class. It's hard to find really well written characters anymore.

  32. I'm just going to come out and say it. This is one of my top episodes for this season. I know it'll have mixed opinions, and no,I don't really think it was appropriate for the mid season, but it's hardly the worst mid season we've had.

First, the secondary actors were pretty good! After the /horrible/ secondaries for..most of this season, it was nice to see that some people actually know how to act. I enjoyed their performance, from the councilor woman, (or whatever title) to Demon Number 789033 with cigarette burns. Claire did a really good job, she wasn't over the top annoying or anti climatically bland. Teenage angst, but I expect that. I don't buy that her mom just dumped her though, not when she came so close to losing her before. That should have strengthened their bond, not lead to her abandoning her.

Loved that they finally addressed what happened to jimmy. Glad he's in heaven. Very glad they didn't just ignore cannon and any shred of realism by saying that he's still in there. I was really worried that they'd do that. Glad Cas is making a real effort to take care of her, even if he doesn't know how and it's not the same as her real dad. Loved Cas' explanation about why he did what he did.

Hated that Dean and Sam weren't quick to try and aid Cas in finding his daughter. All they were doing was watching tv. There are no cases, and things have been quiet. I don't understand their reluctance. I'm glad Cas didn't take it like a whipped pup, he bit back and got their help anyway.

Loved the end. I wish they'd have had Claire run back in and see it instead of bring lead in, that would have bedn more believable, but whatever, it's not a big deal.

Didn't homestly care for the Crowley stuff. At this point his mother and his hell and his demons bore me. Only Crowley interests me and even he seems bored stiff and depressed over how things have gone. The bar talk seemed more like Jensen and Jared then Dean and Sam talking, and was kind of jarring.

So yeah, really enjoyed the episode. Glad for some somewhat decent writing and some good acting, and the addressing of past matters. Hope this moc thing really gets air time next half of season, and is fleshed out, and lasts more then one or two episodes.

  33. That last question caught me off guard! And I have to agree with "Why did Cas bring a traumatized Claire back inside" bit because that was the only part of the episode I didn't like to be honest. I know that there were some weird spots but I thought everything fit together nicely except for that. Even though the JW thing was out of character, I think it was just meant to add to the whole "family" aspect of this episode. Like how important family is and how guilty Cas feels from taking that away from Claire so hearing from the brothers about how important John was to them, even in silly memories like this one, having Cas kind of understand what he did to Claire was what the underlying point of this whole scene was. I can't help but wonder if Cas is going to try and "adopt" Claire in a sense. Take her under his wing if I may ;)

  34. This episode had a soapy feel to me too. Dabb may have written it, but it had Glass written all over it. I wouldn't be surprised to hear that he pitched the idea, or contributed heavily toward it. I don't care rot these types of episodes. The feel is wrong for this show, which used to be known for snark. The second Krissy episode stands as the only SPN episode I still haven't been able to bring myself to watch.

Anyway, I was mostly bored through it and found all of the shock around Dean's slaughter overdone. Wasn't everyone clear that this was only a matter of time? A reaction, of course. Complete shock? No.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Amy selected only very bad people and she killed for a short period of time to save her dying son, but she didn't get much of a pass. The rule, according to the fandom, is if you're a monster and killing, you need to be killed.

    ReplyDelete
  36. I think there are a few people who still hold on to it, but only a few. Most people these days admit that they hate Sam for other reasons. The characters have all done so much worse since then.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Well, Jimmy's body was blown up on at least two occasions: at the end of S4 and the end of S5. So, it wouldn't have made sense for his soul to still be present in that body. Plus, the body expelled into black goo in S7.

Thankfully, Jimmy's soul was long gone before then!

    ReplyDelete
  38. Oh the punnery. Yeah, the JW scene made sense in terms of the story – family is a big thing this season, no? – but I guess the way it played out didn't feel natural to me. The anecdote was cool though, and I like it when the Winchesters actually pay attention to Castiel's feelings and issues instead of just using him as salve for their own wounds. It was definitely an important scene in the episode, but it just didn't gel for me.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Yeah . . . . that John story was complete nonsense. It felt off b/c it was off. It didn't feel true to the way the character has been portrayed. Dean and Sam were so jealous and envious of Adam in JTS b/c John had taken Adam to baseball games and spent quality time w/him, etc, but here we learn that John did the same thing w/them?!?! Huh? That Grand Canyon trip didn't make fit either w/the description of John.

I can't say it surprises me that the Js had issues w/the dialogue.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Shockingly, the Claire stuff did not bore me as I believed it would. I thought the actress did a good job, and I understood her anger and frustration. Castiel basically blew her life apart. I mean, her mother didn't even return when her own mother died! How messed up is that?

That said, I couldn't agree more that it had a soapy feel - I have watched soap operas in the past so that could be why it did not bother me - and that is inappropriate for Supernatural. At times, I forgot it was Supernatural I was watching. Supernatural should never feel "soapy," IMO.

    ReplyDelete
  41. That Jimmy is in Heaven? It does b/c Jimmy's body has been blown apart several times. I would have found it more unbelievable if Jimmy was still present.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Agree with the John story. The part that really stood out to me was Dean saying that he threw a temper tantrum when John picked him up from the party or whatever it was. If we've seen anything thing from the Dean/John dynamic, it was that Dean never spoke up against John until the end of season 1. It was always "yes sir."

    ReplyDelete
  43. Yeah . . . some have never gotten over S4. I hated the way Sam was lying in S4, and I hated him hanging out w/the demon who gleefully looked forward to Dean burning in Hell, and I hated him drinking DB . . . BUT I never started to hate Sam. He was just going through a bad time. I think those that started to hate Sam then (and still hate him) probably never liked him.

I couldn't agree more w/you about them letting Dean do something. I wouldn't hate a DD or a MOC-raged out Dean if he killed some innocent people. That wouldn't ruin his character to me. But the writers refuse to take chances w/Dean's character the way they do w/Sam. They would let Sam slaughter an orphanage, but Dean will only kill jerks or other demons. It's very strange.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Yeah, Ben Edlund (who wrote the Grand Canyon story) admitted that it was out of line with canon because Dean said in an earlier season that he'd never been there. Because of that, I tend to pretend it was a fever dream of Sam's.

I CAN believe John would march into CBGB and scare the living daylights out of everyone in order to rescue his son. I'd like to see Jeffrey Dean Morgan re-enacting that one. But Dean's supposed reaction – "I hate you!" – sounds more like Sam. Dean might think it, and he might cop an attitude or get all moody, but I don't see him lashing out at John like that. But who knows, maybe teenage Dean had a Sammy-like rebellious phase too.

    ReplyDelete
  45. What doesn't make sense to me is not that he's in Heaven. It's that this is supposed to pass for an excuse for Cas not returning his body. Do the writers assume that we've forgotten that Cas has been shown to be in Heaven several times within the past season? The body is healed. The soul is accessible for an angel. What's the problem?

    ReplyDelete
  46. Yeah, it felt soapier than some episodes, but it didn't even approach Bloodlines-level soapy, so I was OK with it and actually enjoyed it. For me there was enough snark to offset the soap. (If the rest of the season follows suit, however, we may have a problem.)

The shock was overdone. The last scene could have been so much more powerful. We all knew Dean was going to go there – so at least let us watch it and see just how needlessly brutal he was. Or let him go all darkside on some innocents (like the bodies in his dreams), not a bunch of lowlifes.

    ReplyDelete
  47. I have no words. for first 18 minutes, we have one, stupid Sam/Dean scene. And that was all. Honestly speaking, that scene was embarassing. Also, actress who played Claire is officially the worst actress on Supernatural EVER. She's so annoying and lack of any acting skills. Who casted her and why?

    ReplyDelete
  48. If you have no urge to sour a character,s image then what they do with Dean is not that surprising. Being the narrative/pov character the audience must relate to him and when you have showrunners and writers caring more about how we see Dean than Sam , then the way Sam is written (however appalling the writing is) is not surprising either . Dean is pitied and garners sympathy where Sam has been vilified despite the fact Dean has not behaved much different.

    ReplyDelete
  49. "Why in the hell did Dabb think making Sam leave Dean alone, when Cas was already with Claire."

Even with forgetting about the MoC, it's not realistic that Sam wouldn't have turned around as soon as he realized that Dean was not right behind him. They were exiting a dangerous situation and they were trained to be more cautious than that. It's poor character writing.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Completely agree about the ending. We know it's bad but I need to see it to see if there are any boundaries at all.

I also would like to know what exactly triggers the rage; physical pain, emotional pain or whatever. That could end up helping Sam "fix" his brother.

    ReplyDelete
  51. I think demon dean comes back or he never left because when he punched metatron if you look closely his eyes are black and he tells Sam in another tralier "I'm a demon" and Sam said "sereasly?"

    ReplyDelete
  52. See I think the idea of family is really big this season. You have the brothers obviously, Cas seeking out his vessel's daughter, Crowley and his witch mother, Cole and avenging his father, Jody and Alex (I love that they mentioned that she stayed with Jody), and even Kate and her sister (granted she's dead, but the "we're family" thing was still there). Everything that any character has been doing this season is because of family. Maybe it's just me, but I feel like they are seriously playing with the idea of family this year. If family's not the right word...then maybe blood.

    ReplyDelete
  53. What is this show and where can I get more????!
I'm positively surprised. I was expecting the usual 'angels, demons, blah blah blah' and a lame cliffhanger that has little or nothing to do with the main characters (S&D), but instead we got a fresh and exciting episode with a badass cliffhanger. Excellent directing too. I'd say this is my favorite episode of season 10 so far.

    ReplyDelete
  54. True but remember Dean was supposed to be drunk...maybe a drunk Dean did act rebellious towards his father.

    ReplyDelete
  55. What are you talking about? I think she did a good job. I have to admit that I was a little worried after the first scene with her, but she turned out to be a likable character, very much like the 'younger version' of her.

    ReplyDelete
  56. True. Drunk Dean is more emotional and volatile.

    ReplyDelete
  57. When has Dean's personality ever changed when he was drinking? True he's a bit of an alcoholic now, but John seemed truly shocked when Dean spoke back to him in season 1.

I got the impression that Dean's anger toward John was so repressed that Dean never knew that it existed until after John died. If that's the case, it wouldn't have come out with teenage Dean drunk.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Ahhhhhhh . . . . . I understand now.
Yeah, you're right. Castiel could have definitely found another vessel after the S4 explosion, but I think that is the problem w/S5's MBV. Jimmy should have been dead and gone after he exploded in S4, but the writers screwed up and referenced Jimmy still being present and craving meat in MBV.
But that is canon, so it was wrong of Cas to keep Jimmy's body hostage when he could have given it back. I think we're supposed to think Cas only recently started to think about Jimmy, Amelia, and Claire b/c of Hannah's decision to vacate her vessel. I guess he never thought about it before.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Re: Drunk Dean

I guess I was thinking of specific combative incidents (e.g., beginning of 2x21, when Dean threw Bobby out of the house) that I associate with Dean heavily drinking, but upon reflection, those were colored by other stuff going on (like Sam being dead).

So, all that to say I still agree it was a weird reaction from Dean, even with alcohol factored in. It just didn't fit, and the tone of the whole scene felt off.

Even in 9x07, when John interrupted Dean's chance to have a normal night out with a girl at a school dance, Dean just quietly acquiesced... It's hard to swallow the NYC story as some new facet of teen Dean's character and his relationship with John.

    ReplyDelete
  60. First time drunk, plus he said he didn't even know what he was drinking. Certain alcohol affect people different ways. And we've only actually seen Dean "drunk" once in Season 7. Maybe John was shocked because Dean was sober and because Dean is usually so compliant that this attitude hadn't happened in so long.

Also, Dean is still human. I'm sure he was moody at that age. I don't think he was angry at John in the sense you're thinking. Just embarrassed like he said. I think when teen Dean said "I hate you" it was because of the embarrassment, not the built up anger.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Haha, I thought the same. lol

    ReplyDelete
  62. well they cant do that to there poster boy Dean that be wrong now right?

    ReplyDelete
  63. Yes, I've watched Vampire Diaries. It started out as a soap opera and has been nothing since. Supernatural did not start out being a soap opera. It was about two brothers hunting and saving people from monsters and supernatural creatures, not loan sharks.

    ReplyDelete
  64. I'd rather watch the daytime soaps, there probably would be better acting and a better story than that crap.

    ReplyDelete
  65. I always find it interesting that people hold so much against Sam from S4, and yet constantly defend Dean and Cas. Cas broke Sam's wall and then went on a mass human and angel killing spree, yet he doesn't face nearly the same level of scrutiny as Sam does. Sam had demon blood in him not by choice and Dean chose to take on the Mark of Cain, yet Dean is the only 'victim' to fans. And Dean forced an angel and demon into Sam last season, and remained the victim to fans. He's been lying to Sam all season, and that's fine to fans, but Sam was vilified for doing the same in S4. I wish people would take off their Dean-coloured glasses sometimes. They have all done bad things, that's what makes them interesting characters after 200 episodes. So I'm not sure why you've especially written Sam off of the three.

And out of S4 we had the wonderful Sam of S5, who was determined to fix his mistakes and stayed strong where everyone else gave up. One thing I love about Sam is how instead of whining about all the bad stuff he's done like Dean does, he just gets on with trying to make it right. (This reads like I don't like Dean, but I swear I do. I just don't like people being unfair to Sam.)

    ReplyDelete
  66. I just realized something kind of funny. Lately I've been multitasking as I watch this show, and this week I was shopping online on my phone for a tree topper. I wanted to replace that angel that's been up there for years. I swear I didn't pick on this until now.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Right? They set Cole up as this big antagonist and then dropped him. They could have had Sam and Cole racing against each other to get to Dean first -- one to save him, one to kill him. One thing that this writing team falls short on is building tension. That's one reason the ending of 10.09 was so, meh -- no build up. It was just stuck on the end.

    ReplyDelete
  68. Yep, and it's sad for Jensen who could really sink his teeth into dark character. I'm not sure that this current writing team is willing to do anything truly questionable -- even with Sam. The show if far more PG than it once was. Where's the horror? When was the last time we were truly scared by an episode?

    ReplyDelete
  69. Dean forced an angel and demon into Sam last season, and remained the victim to fans

I'm not sure I'd go that far. There are bitter Sam girls who hate Dean for that. His character will never recover from how they perceive him to have abused Sam over the years.

That being said, there are those who will forgive Dean anything -- and a few of us in the middle.

  70. It's official, we are back to season 6 mode, man this was terrible, the most weak midseason finale I ever see on this show. What's happening, the story is stuck, the show don't have a good villain (Crowley is the worst this season and the all drama with her mom was just awful) and they don't have good stories to tell.

I don't know, but it's time to Castiel go and Crowley go, let's clean this world and make this show scary and dangerous again.

I love Supernatural, but I hope the show pick a good arc before the end.
